no stars deserved

no stars deserved. The worst customer service and service technicians I have have had to deal with in 51 years on this planet. How does a company like this even stay in business it is a mystery to me. From the first phone call to the last repair (4 months later) everything was a disaster.

Ok I really wouldn’t have given it any stars. Every time I call for a problem with something I takes days before the can come out to see what’s wrong. After they have been out the have to order parts. Ok the appointment is set up for about a week so they can ship the parts to your house. It would be nice if they get the address right so on my second visit not all parts came so they set up another visit. The third visit the all the day of the appointment put the parts never got delivered to my place. The fourth visit I was told by the repairman that’s as soon as I get the parts to call to set an appointment (they told me it would be the next day). Sears wanted to set the appointment for the following week. I said no that I was told it would be the next day. No luck for an appointment on the next day I even ask to speak with someone higher up but there wasn’t anyone that could speak to me. No surprise there. Any way I got an appointment for the da after. The repair man tried to fix my dishwasher but couldn’t so now I get a choice of a dishwasher they offer to me or I an get a check for the dishwasher. I looked at the dishwasher the wanted to give me and it was jus a basic dishwasher. Now my dishwasher has a top shelve that can be lower or higher to put in bigger dishes with a water fan under it and there is one on the bottom to. I also have a tray to put little things in on the top shelve. There is a big silverware holder on the bottom shelve which the one they offer had a little one. I have had other problems every time I call them out. I have to take off work to wait from 8 am to 5 pm because they can’t get my email right to tell me a better time that they will be there. I am going to find a better warranty company because this is the pits.

Ridiculous Plan BEWARE

I have a kitchen sink drain issue so I placed a claim. The repairman shows up, takes my $100.00 check and then states the claim isn’t covered due to a faulty installation of the sink basket. The drain has been working properly for years. Now there is an issue, but no coverage. Do I need to have every system inspected in my home to know if I’m going to have coverage if something stops working. How ridiculous is this. Do not buy this plan. It is useless.

My washer hasn't worked right since…

My washer hasn't worked right since October, 2019 Sears has been here 3 times each time a different person, all had different theories attempted to fix it, but would never stay for it to run a full cycle. Have tried to call them, but with the automation and not being able to hear them talking or being able to understand them and now I can't even schedule another appointment as it won't let me submit it it is also quite a wait for a appointment, so beware.

just be sure you understand what you are buying

I have had this warranty in effect for nearly two years. We recently needed the kitchen faucet replaced. i called the center and started the process. Sears kept referring me to a plumber that was a month out with work. I called back and they refereed me by email back to the same person. Well we finally got that taken care of and the new company took over.

The new company quickly informed me that I would be nearly $600 out of pocket because a new faucet cost that much. to be fair it does say that in the paper work but it glosses over it as did the representative who sold us the policy.I thought that replacement meant just that. What the contract says in fact is that if they can't fix it you get a $500 credit toward a new appliance. That scarcely qualifies as "replacement" to my way of thinking.

anyway, lesson learned and my fault for not being more careful.I can't help but think that if this program were properly explained that they would sell many of these policie.

Suffice it to say, I will be much more careful in the future and I urge your other customers to be likewise.
