First the water heater rental is way too expensive!
Second, the tankless water heater stops working and I called them for service they promised someone will be at my home from 11am- 3pm but nobody showed up and our water was iced cold the whole day! When I followed up they hanged up! Then I kept calling and calling until finally someone answered my call and told me they are going to follow up with the service crew and I kept waiting and did not call me back again. So disappointing, bad services, very high rental and keeps increasing rent every year and I am screwed up for the 15 years rental contract I was fooled to sign! This is the biggest mistake in my life of all rental equipment I got in my house. Never go for this company for rental equipment! They don’t care much about their clients!!!

My 84 year old mother has been a victim, stay away! They will only speak to her because she is elderly and confused, they prey upon the elderly! Horrible company!!!

I had a tankless water heater installed in 2020.I recently found out they placed a lien against my property I contacted them to have the lien dismissed I was told a person would contact me to discuss within 5 to 15 minutes still waiting after days
No respectable company does this Simply green it lower than scum a scam and deals scam like

They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. Are unit hasn't worked properly now for 4 months. When you call in to complain they say they will sent the info to the proper person and no one calls you.
They never call to give you an update after technician sends in report , so your never sure what is wrong, or when it will be fixed until you call and complain. They refuse to put you thru to supervisor or manager to try and get things sorted better. Very expensive compared to just buying system and having it installed. Do not recommend this company at all

Called 3 times and all 3 times they hung up without saying anything. There’s just an agent picking up and ending calls in their service department.

Since then I tried a different department and service was excellent. Might be phone menu issues.

These guys very big unprofessionals. They spent a lot of my time and didn’t do anything! Strongly not recommended!

Why does the Government Of Ontario allow this scam operation to continue to operate. After settling a buyout on a 10year contract that I paid for over 15 years they continue to send me bills saying I still owe more money.
This rogue operation that uses several different company names never gives up trying to get money out of you

I sent a certified cheque to Ecohome Financial for $12,000 as buy out payment on a loan for installation of a heat pump and new furnace installed by a company in Kitchener.. Somehow the cheque ended up in Simply Green Home Services account. Ecohome Financial claim they hadn't recieved my cheque and have been taking out monthly payments. Despite many phone calls and printed proof of where the cheque was cashed from my bank, the issue still has not been resolved. It seems these two companies are connected, in fact the person I spoke to at Simply Green could see my account on Ecohome showing they are taking monthly payments at the same time see my $12,000 in their account. To me this is theft.....Don't trust either company

If I could give it zero stars I would. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Our hot water tank started leaking and we were told they could replace it at no charge. After 2 days, they said they have no technicians in our city so they wanted us to source our own techs. We spoke with multiple companies but none will do the work and send the bill to Simply Green because they have not paid those bills in past deals. We are now 6 days later with water still leaking, a damaged basement and they want to charge me to end the contract 1 month early because I need to sign up with another company to get my hot water tank replaced. Repeatedly hung up on, not transferring our calls to the department they told us they were, lying about previous calls information. Stay far, far away from this company!!!!

they have been banned from doing direct selling in B.C for a year. if they meet all the requirements to restart, The judgement is posted online.

I had a furnace installed about 4 yrs ago and was problems right away with install. They had to come back 3 times to fix what they did wrong. Now after getting a new water heater installed, by someone other than Simply green, he informed me there is no inspection or permit pulled for the furnace and there are things that would never pass inspection. I called 2 times to ask if permit was pulled and no reply back. Very shady company.

In short, bad company and worse treatment
I called them. I want to change the thermostat. He told me the company would buy the thermostat and install it for 500 + tax.Knowing that the most expensive thermostat on the market is $300. I don't think they will buy the most expensive deviceI, do not advise anyone to deal with this company

I was scammed into renting of air filter which i was not aware that by doing so it places a lien on my property and/or that I wouldn't be able to cancel my contract and returning the equipment. I don't see any of the details on the contract stating this. I was contacted by Simply Green however, no good outcome was made. I'm still very unsatisfied with this company and very frustrated with dealing with their costumer relations team.

Please don't ever use this company , they will take you for everything you have.

Getting called by them 2-3 times a day- no idea why. Blocked.

THEY WILL NOT STOP CALLING!!

i have asked them to remove my number over 30 TIMES and they still keep calling me!!! THEY called 15 times in one day and as of today by 12 pm they have already called 8 times. I am on the verge of filing a harrassment suit as this is constant!! I am very upset and aggravated!! i even left a complaint with their customer service earlier today and they are STILL calling!!!!! I WANT THIS TO STOP NOW!!!

I see there's many bad reviews but keep in mind this could of been when the company was first starting out and working through the imperfections.
My experience was positive. I dealt with Jose who followed through with everything that he said he would.
Products work great, technicians were awesome.
I've had no issues and would highly recommend.

You will get stuck in a rental for 15 years and end up paying 5 times more than the new equipment market price! Want to get out? No way! They won’t even acknowledge your right to stop the rental. Guess who have corporate lawyers to scare you out?
