Excellent Service

After having to postpone the annual full emptying and clean of our swim spa on Monday due to the torrential rain, Mikey arrived on Thursday afternoon with a smile and drizzle. However the rain wasn't severe enough to postpone again. Mikey did a thorough and brilliant clean. The spa hadn't been used much this year due to illness but now it looks as good as new again. All the engineers from MySpa have been polite and pleasant, Mikey was particularly accommodating and efficient while answering questions and giving advice on keeping the swim spa at its best. Thank you for a great service.

My Spa exceptional service

Thank you to MySpa Leicester for your great service today installing my new hot tub. Mikey, Andy and Mark did a fantastic job installing it exactly where we wanted it and explaining how to use it and use the chemicals. Would defiantly recommend this company for their personal service.

We are so pleased with our purchase of our hot tub from Rothley MySpa. From just going in to enquire through to installation the team have been amazing. Patryk was really knowledgable and answered all our queries. He had no pushy sales techniques, allowing us to take time to make a decision. The whole team have been really friendly offering great advice and guidance throughout. On installation day everything went smoothly and the guidance we got on maintaining the tub and chemicals was exceptional.
Thankyou MySpa...would highly recommend.

We have just purchased a hot tub!

We have just purchased a hot tub from the Derby Myspa centre. Brilliant service from the off. No heavy sales patter, just good, helpful information. We didn’t have any understanding of hot tubs prior to visiting the centre and we wanted clear information about quality, running costs etc. Simon, left no stone unturned. We decided to invest in an Air Source Heat Pump and are very pleased with the technical support provided. The installation team were AMAZING! They worked really hard to ensure the HT was installed correctly and explained everything to us in a clear manner. The garden was very challenging because of several changes in levels. The team worked hard throughout the day. Extremely friendly team. Five stars very easily earned!!

Great team

Having had two years experience with MySpa servicing, I am pleased to write a review to confirm we are very happy with the service.

The team are always friendly, positive and helpful as well as knowledgeable.

Jenni is always ready to help out in the office and Dave has been helpful over the phone, directing us in how to rectify issues arising. We really appreciate having people we can contact and get the results we need.

Cathy in particular has become our ‘go to’ person for servicing and I feel she really takes care of our needs and goes the extra mile. She truly excels at her job. A particular occasion with torrential rain requiring bin bags to keep her work dry springs to mind! Cathy always has a big smile and remains positive no matter what. A star!

Big thanks to the team.

Wonderful Company-wonderful staff!

We had our hot tub in 2017 and have had constant wonderful service all round! The office staff are very accommodating sorting out dates for your valet, ordering stock etc. I can’t fault them!! The valeting team are also very thorough and pleasant to talk to too. Nothing is too much for this company. Wonderful staff! Wonderful company!

Exceptional 5 star service…

Just had my first service & thorough clean by Ash from the MySpa team.

Heat Pump Install

With the increase in energy costs we decided to have a Heat Pump fitted by My Spa. It was a new thing for them and whilst there were some teething troubles Dave sorted them within a couple of weeks.

The 12Kw unit is great when the temperature is above 5 degrees C. Above 10 it takes 2-3 hours to keep it to temperature. Below 0 degrees it does struggle but we were told it is about 1:1 energy in to out at these temperatures, so no surprise here.

Dave set it up so it only heats during the day, which is great because the solar panels we have provide all the energy needed (when the sun shines!). I recon it will saves us 60% of the energy we used. Great piece of advice to install, and very responsive in the process.

Very happy customer

I would definitely recommend MySpa for their professional sales team, without obligation to buy. Their brilliant communication and after sales responce and follow up. Excellent product information and demonstration skills. Also their team of installation experts and after sales back-up, which are more than willing to help giving comprehensive advice and helpful instruction.
I am very happy and contented with my new Spa and anticipate may happy years of service with the confidence that there is a team of experts at the end of the telephone, offering help and assistance if required.

MYSPA Service above and beyond

MYSPA Cathy...... What can I say?!!

You are so thorough when you empty our hot tub and clean it thoroughly inside and out every three months but today you went beyond the call of duty to return and fit a filter cover for us.
This service is exceptional and we are very grateful for the care and dedication you give on every visit.

Aftercare and Product Quality below par

It really is unfortunate that I have to write a not so good review about MySpa, as I do believe the people are great and they did not intentionally mean to provide me with a bad service, but the overall experience I have had has been disappointing and left me frustrated.

Bottom Line:
I was misquoted for the crane lift which was fully controlled and organised by MySpa. MySpa will not reimburse the additional costs that I had to pay, and so I am out of pocket funding which I did not budget for.
The overall quality of the hot tub does not reflect the price paid. It feels cheap and plasticky in parts and developed numerous faults and issues which I had to report 4 times before receiving an acknowledgment. It has taken MySpa nearly a year to rectify these issues. The after care in this case is unacceptable.

Initially things looked good and we booked a wet test where the sales advisor answered all our questions, and so with that we proceeded to order (Oct) the Wellness Spree on the proviso that it was delivered before Xmas, which was agreed. Trying to finalise a delivery date proved a little difficult with some back and forth, particularly with the crane company (which MySpa were arranging on our behalf) and some confusion from MySpa as to whether we needed a crane or not. None the less they did deliver a week before Xmas, and I have to say the installation team were on time and professional.

To our surprise the invoice for the crane hire had been 20% higher than what MySpa had quoted, even though we had confirmed the price with them several times we were not made aware that this was exVAT, bearing in mind MySpa has arranged everything with the crane company so the only dialogue we had was through them and we believed this was a firm, fixed price. We raised the issue with them at the time and received no response.

After a few initial uses I noticed some faults with the hot-tub. The badge fell off after 2 weeks, one of the speakers would not close correctly, and the general feel was cheap and plasticly. I attempted to report these through the online reporting messaging system on the MySpa website. After 2 attempts with no response I raised the issues with the sales team who said they would pass it on to the after sales team. 2 weeks later and I still had not heard anything so I contacted the sales team yet again, adding a few more issue’s onto the list. Eventually I had a call and a follow on e-mail from the after care team who said they would resolve the issues as soon as possible. 10 months later I was still stuck with the same initial issues with no contact from them whatsoever. I contacted the team to see what was happening, again with no response. With little options remaining I raised a formal complaint, and to be fair to the team they responded well, deploying almost immediately to rectify the issues, and I have to say the technicians were spot on.
As not all my of my complaint issues were responded to, I followed up a few weeks later, where I was asked to receive a phone call to try to resolve my concerns.
Unfortunately a satisfactory resolution could not be reached and I feel that my overall experience has been disappointing. The overall quality of the product does not represent the cost, so I feel it is not value for money, and I have been ignored on numerous occasions. It has also taken nearly 1 year to rectify the faults with the hot-tub, and I have not been reimbursed the additional cost for the crane.

I have been left extremely disappointed with the service provided by MySpa to the point where I do not want to buy products from them. I wouldn’t recommend them nor would I choose to buy from them again.

As a team we are sad and disappointed to read this review. We have acknowledged and apologised for our part in your warranty response having stalled. We as a company endeavour to respond to all call outs, no matter how minor an issue, we take them seriously.

What is disappointing is that in our discussions with you in December 2022 once everything had been sorted, as a good will gesture, we offered to provide you with £100 gift voucher to use against hot tub chemicals, filters, accessories or services that you would need, by way of reimbursement in case our sales person at the time hadn't been clear about the VAT the crane company would have to charge. Sadly you refused this gesture and also declined to tell us what you would find acceptable in order for us to move forward.

The Spree is one of our most popular all seater models providing a fantastic hydro therapeutic experience, its unfortunate that you have suffered these minor issues but we know it will continue to provide you with all the benefits a hot tub does ongoing.

In Dec 2021, due to the massive global supply chain complications COVID inflicted on manufacturing and shipping, it was difficult to provide accurate delivery dates. We were very active in communicating as best we could, the ever moving picture of deliveries to all of our customers during that time. Fortunately for most people, yourself included, we were able to get your spa into the UK and installed in time for Christmas as agreed. Some people were sadly less fortunate and experienced delays well into the new year that were completely beyond our control. As a team we were very grateful that our customers were understanding during those difficult, frustrating times.

WIth regards to the issues you reported to us in January 2022, which were forwarded to the aftercare team and also responded to in January of 2022, the person who dealt with your warranty claim answered your questions perfectly and requested photo's of the three issues which needed looking at which is part of our process in order to be able to claim under warranty with the manufacturer, and ensure we had the correct parts to attend site with. When you then brought the claim to our attention again at the end of November 2022, we fully accepted and apologised as we should have been proactive in chasing the pictures we had requested from you (but never received) in order to process your claim under warranty.

It is unheard of for any customer to not flag up something that has been missed for 10 months, no matter how minor but we should have followed up. Fortunately the issues you had did not prevent you from being able to enjoy the use of your spa. Upon receipt of the requested photo's in Dec 2022 we sent an engineer out and sorted them for you immediately under warranty as you state above.

The two further issues you subsequently raised were also dealt with immediately. When the engineer attended site for the first one, there turned out not to be an issue. The second was that you weren't happy with the tidiness of the silicone sealant around the underneath of the waterfall from the factory. Whilst this hadn't failed in any way, we happily attended site to remove and reseal it for you. Neither of these visits were charged for.

We are sorry for your disappointment in the product and our service, but thank you for allowing us to put them right. The speaker that was popping up on its own, the sticker that hadn't stuck down well in the cold weather, the cover clip that couldn't lock properly, the drink holder that had cracked and the untidy silicone on the waterfall are all now sorted and should be fine moving forward. Any future issue should be reported directly to aftercare@myspashop.co.uk

We are more than happy to continue to look after you and will endeavour to provide the efficient and professional service we are known for. If you choose to shop somewhere else for support we wish you all the best for the future.
