Great Customer Service

First of all, the 5v plug/transformer was the perfect replacement for my Sonos Bridge power supply, and corrected the problem of interference between the old (leaky signal) plug and my wifi-router.

Second: there were issues with delivery from the Post Office (UK) [probably their strikes and working to rule], but My Volts were very responsive to my problem, with good communication and flexible options to resolve the situation. I'm very happy with the outcome and would recommend My Volts to anyone shopping for like products.

Roberts Radio Adaptor

I recently purchased an adaptor for my Roberts RD radio. I received very good customer service from Myvolts and the product was of excellent quality. I truly found Myvolts to be a fair and honest seller. I would heartily recommend the company as a very good place to buy products from.

No delivery, no replies to queries

Ordered a charging lead as they said they could deliver within 3 days. I still haven't received it 9 days later and despite sending 3 emails have had no contact from them at all.

We packed and dispatched the Customer's order promptly, within one business day from the date of purchase. Unfortunately, as it was peak season, it took us 3 days to reply to the customer's enquiry regarding the delivery running late (due to Royal Mail's strike action in the first days of December as we're guessing), as it was pre-holiday period we had to deal with under-staffing on the one hand and an increased number of customer correspondence on the other. That's no good excuse of course - and we are taking efforts to shorten our response times currently. Apologies, Mandy! For the record - we refunded the customer as soon as we read her first message and told her to keep the item she bought when it arrives.

Impossible to get a refund/replacement

Impossible to get a refund or replacement if you have issues. I purchased a replacement charger which didn't work with the device, as I attempted to get a refund they were incredibly unresponsive and I have tried many times to get through to them via email and telephone. Very bad customer service.

Initial concerns after trying to call…

Initial concerns after trying to call and not getting any answer, then reading previous reviews fuelled my concerns, however did get through to an incredibly helpful man that arranged for my missing item to be dispatched immediately tracked from the Netherlands, arrived in 3 days.

Customer Service? What customer service?

Purchase a power adaptor replacement, however the adaptor did not work. I messaged them asking for a return / refund.

They replied asking a series of questions, I answered all the question with photos attached, ending on the point that I'm happy to return the adaptor for a refund.

They then decide to ghost me, even after 3 more emails chasing this, no reply.

UPDATE: Had to open a case with PayPal for a refund (which they ignored as well). Straight up lying in their reply below that they refunded me straight away, Paypal had to close the case and refund me as they didn't even response to the case after 14 days of being open.

Trying to save face on this review and continuing to lie proves how dreadful they are as a company. I really hope they'd changed their customer service. Be super wary when ordering from this company.

Before we send a replacement the customer is asking for, we typically want to investigate and troubleshoot the cause of the issue so as to avoid the replacement turning out to be incompatible too. Sometimes the customer makes an error and orders a wrong product, so sending another identical one automatically won't help. We responded to all messages we received - there must have been a technical email issue that prevented us from seeing the most recent ones. When we stopped seeing emails from the Customer we thought the issue has been resolved... We refunded this Customer immediately upon coming across this TrustPilot review in December. We're sorry! We've learned our lesson and introduced measures to make sure no message goes unnoticed since then. UPDATE: Double-checked and indeed, the Customer is right! Our error - we did notice this review in December but the customer's order was already marked on PayPal as refunded at that point, correct. Apologies for this error - no bad will or lying involved :) Actually, we're happy to hear the customer recovered their funds still before we noticed that review. Again, please let us stress: we did respond to all messages we received - there must have been a technical issue with those emails that prevented us from seeing the most recent ones. Checked once again - they are nowhere to be found. If we had received them, we would have replied. We always do.

SCAM COMPANY, AVOID!

SCAM COMPANY, AVOID, AVOID!
Been over two weeks since purchase. No item, no tracking number, no customer support whatsoever. Zero responses to multiple emails and no way to contact anyone by phone or any other way it appears. This company is happy to take your money and then do absolutely nothing, including sending your purchase.
Hopefully I’ll be able to get a refund through PayPal.
Any positive reviews on trustpilot are obviously fake.

We did send this order timely (the buyer selected the cheapest, untracked delivery method at checkout), yet it's indeed our fault we only replied to his first email after one week. That's unthinkable now, yet back then, in October 2022, we were still struggling to get organised better - fortunately, we have improved a lot in responding to customer emails since then and no longer get any message to us go unnoticed (or land in spam). And - for the record - when we finally noticed the messages we missed, we refunded that customer in full immediately and apologised, asking him to keep the item when it arrives.

Cheap replacement adapter

Bought an adapter for my record player from this company after I lost the original. It came within 5 days and worked fine. Cost about a third of what the same thing was being sold for on Amazon.

PSU arrived faulty. No reply to emails for two weeks.

Edit -- happy to up this to three stars, but the response from the seller here (four months after the fact) protests a little too much. I'm not sure the indignant "sad to see now we got this one-star review in spite of our efforts" is warranted.

The original one star review was written before the situation was resolved. Yes, I eventually made contact with someone through messenger. By that point I'd tried several times by email (which I'm told went to spam) and by phone -- which weren't just unanswered but went to a line which was disconnected. And, of course, the PSU which had arrived was faulty, and the explanation of it being a ground loop made no sense technically either. It was just a faulty PSU, plain and simple. But they refunded me once I managed to speak to someone.

Not sure why this history is all being resurrected now, many months later, but given the number of negative reviews at the time and since I'm guessing MyVolts are trying to retrospectively clean up their Trustpilot reputation. In that case, hopefully this was all just a bad period in their, in which case negative and neutral reviews should get balanced out by more recent positive ones. A quick glance shows a similar stream of one-star reviews still coming in with similar complaints and explanations though.

This was an extremely rare case where the Customer's emails were intercepted by our antispam engine and were not passed on to our customer service team. Only when the Customer contacted us by Messenger on 22 September (yes, we support our Customers by chat too!), we dug deeper and found them on the server - as the only ones held up of all customer correspondence we received that month, apparently due to their looking particularly suspicious to our server software. True - it's our fault that we were not checking spam on regular basis (now we do). Let me stress that we refunded the Customer immediately on that same day. And it seems the Customer posted this review on the same day... And on the next day we continued our tech chat. Sad to see now we got this one-star review in spite of our efforts - and the overly diligent antispam filter. But well - life.

fabulous result

Initially this was my review: “ No email confirmation. No ability to contact by phone- went to a non working number. Feels like a scam company. No idea if my paid for product will arrive.”

Since then I’ve had a few days of excellent email correspondence and Instagram DMs and all felt very good , caring , professional and secure.
Today product arrived and it’s very HIGH QUALITY. I’m very very pleased overall.
There were a few hiccups in the beginning but it was not due to their quality of service.

I would give them a 4.5

Great customer service

I bought a power supply to replace a euro-plug for my Harley Benton effects board. This worked fine for four months, then stopped working, after contacting Myvolts sent out a replacement very quickly.

If only every retailer was this good…

Communication and after care has been excellent throughout, despite an issue with the order everything was put right without question promptly and courteously. In this instance the supplier did not want a return instead asking us to up-cycle the component or retain in case it might be of some future use. Ecologically responsible, we will be using My Volts again based on this initial experience as they went the extra mile to try and sort our problem and care for the environment at the same time.

Excellent service and customer support

Excellent service and customer support. I don't know why it has so many bad reviews here, but honestly I found them very good and helpful. I even had a mistake in my shipping address and they offered to send me the item again for free. They replied to my email within 48hrs.

Customer service rep Angie is rude and not helpful

My mom got an advertisement that said buy one get one free! They had the amount of $599.98 crossed out with "only $299.99 under it! So my mom, who is 79, thought that it was saying that she could get a pair of hearing aids for $300! So when she showed it to me I thought, well that's worth trying! But when I started reading it again, I realized that it also said, each when you buy a pair! So then, I thought how sneaky and confusing is that!?! I then decided to call the number and make sure that I understood what it was actually saying and Angie answered my call! I asked her to explain if it was a pair for 300 like how my mom understood it or if it was 300 each so you would still be 600 a pair! She immediately got sarcastic and said that it was what I had just told her! It was buy one get one free for only 300! I was like, that's so confusing! She was like, what's so confusing about it? I then asked her why not just say 600 for a pair? She then repeated that they are buy 1 get 1 free for only 300! I was like, so it's 600 for the pair! She then got a little loud and was like I'm not here to argue with you! Out of frustration, I yelled back at her that I didn't call her for an argument so your done and hung up the phone! I'm not going to do business with a company that is not going to be helpful so I'll spend that 600 on a different pair of hearing aids for my mom!
