Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 455 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently found the apps and websites difficult to use and navigate, often describing them as a shambles or useless. Many people are dissatisfied with the revised prize structure, considering the lower prize amounts and overall value for money to be an insult. Some people were dissatisfied with frequent technical issues, including persistent errors, downtime, and problems accessing their accounts. Reviewers also struggled with disorganized layouts, making it hard to check tickets or find information. The 'two chances to win' feature is often seen as a worthless stunt, with many feeling the overall odds of winning anything substantial are very low.

At the risk of sounding crude, the new lottery app is a total load of sh*t! Lots of issues that were never a problem before but my main bugbear is trying to find my tickets to check. Why can't you pu... See more

I think the revised prize is an insult for the lower prizes, £1 for matching 2 numbers when the ticket price is £2. I know they say there are 2 chances of winning but one would have thought keep the p... See more

Whoever made your previous website .

Whoever made your previous website .. get them back. And while you're at it, fire whoever decided it needed changing. I thought I was being pedantic but no, it's objectively worse in almost every way.

Oh and BTW, the decision to auto tick both draw dates is absolute scum behaviour.. isn't that a 'negative option'.. aren't they illegal?

Since the National Lottery has been taken over it has been a disaster for players

Since the National Lottery added another 10 balls, it has been a disaster for players.
We never win anything now, but before always a small win and occasionally a £30 & even £90.
Now on rare occasions it is £2.50,or a lucky dip. So in fact you have actually won nothing because that is what it cost to buy the ticket. It needs a total overhaul and perhaps lots more prizes of a few hundred. Feeling very disappointed but I doubt anyone cares.

Useless

Why change it? I cant find what tickets are live and if I have to buy more!!!
Not user friendly, nothing to say tickets have finished, ive gone a couple of weeks thinking I was "in it to win it" and the tickets had come to an end. Not in date order for all your tickets now. Too much scrolling.

Absolutely atrocious

Had to make my own reminder to setup my monthly payment as the new "improved???" website doesn't have that functionality. Went to login and select my tickets for the coming 4 weeks and they are having trouble logging me in!@#£#@ Absolutely atrocious.

A month on and...

Last month I reviewed that the experience was exasperating and less than pleasant. A month on and the website is still unfit for purpose. I hope someone somewhere is taking note. I'll see what difference the next month makes.

Minus 100 stars shambolic

Apparently won £30 on the lottery. Nearly 2 weeks later, haven't received a penny. These rip off merchants are quick to take your money. But just won't pay anything out. I've now closed my online account and no longer play the lottery. Someone once described the lottery as a tax on idiots.

Here we are again ..

I cannot access my online app after it was updated. It states connection issues & Ive tried everything. This is not the first time Ive had this problem but this time its on both phone & tablet. As I cannot access the app I can't ask for help . Ive also money stuck on my account , I cannot use. It's not beneficial to online players for this to keep happening. Id just like my money back so I can delete the app & forget about this abysmal service.

The 2026 app update is an absolute…

The 2026 app update is an absolute disaster. It’s harder to navigate, needs extra steps to do the same thing, is harder to find info and tickets, harder to buy the number of line you want. Absolutely everything about it is worse than the old version.

How many more times is this app going…

How many more times is this app going to fail?

Isn’t it time to give this lottery to someone else to run? Richard Branson said he would take it over years ago, profit free! Has this day arrived?
I’m boycotting it for 7 days if it’s not working by 3pm today.

Update 22:29- app still not working, I’ve decided a seven day boycott is too lenient for this rubbish, I’m boycotting for fourteen days, join me.

Worst Customer Service team in UK

Ye gads, could a customer service department get any worse? The young Doris with whom I spoke decided that my question meant I was being uncooperative. (It's clearly a school for delinquents thing.) So much so that she disconnected the call. Hard to believe that these people get paid to deal with paying customers.
