They took my money and charged excessively, much more money than the state themselves. This company is a REDUNDANT MIDDLE MAN. They led me on for over 4 months telling me how it was almost done or on its way. It never came. I am a 100 percent disabled combat veteran. My family went hungry for a while because these fools stole from us. Then our card started being charged for other things ironically after they got all our information. Had to cancel the card. Put me behind another 10 days of which I had to cancel so much stuff and change card payment on everything. Because of this I went negative and received fee's. I believe one of their employees committed fraud. Now after I sent them about 10 different documents proving my identity including one's they asked for later, it wasn't enough. 4 months later I received a thick envelope in the mail thinking it was my Birth Certificate. It was a denial of my certificate instead saying they didn't have enough even after the lady SACHA went back and forth with me for months and told me it was done and mailed. I was infuriated because I thought the suffering was over. I called the state themselves. In one phone call they sent me the Birth Certificate and I had to pay them for it. Much less grant you a third of the cost almost. So how does the state solve my issue in one phone call but these idiots lead me on for four months. I am a natural born citizen with DD-214, Marriage Cert, Indian Card, Social, Notarized documents that match signatures on my other documents. I gave these people more than that! They always asked for more. They stole my money and will not refund it. They do not care and I warned them I would cost them money for stealing from me. They want people to stop asking. To just get tired of the bullshit and stop bother them. That's what they want, to take your hard earned money and give nothing. When I called the state, they themselves told me about these people's reputation for ripping people off and scamming them all while charging them WAY TOO MUCH. I need my Birth Certificate to renew my ID to get a loan for a new home since my landlord is selling the 30 acres out from under us. Which was fine since I believed they would get my BC to me... four months later, a screw you letter. Nah... I HATE THIEVES! So I am warning you, do not waste your money, go straight to the STATES THEMSELVES AND SKIP THESE FRAUDULENT HACKS. I knew something was wrong after not receiving it for four months all the while being emailed everything was cool. Then out of nowhere my card is charged with a bunch of random crap some college girl would buy. I wonder... since this never happens because all my stuff is very secure. They took it and stole from us while telling us they did their job when the state themselves said to avoid them and that they DON'T do their jobs. This company deserves to hemorrhage profit.

They worked with me to find a way for me to receive my records through a family member since I am abroad. It took a while to figure it out but the personal emails were a big help.

I ordered a certificate and paid $160 to get it delivered internationally. It never arrived. They would not allow e to obtain shipping company tracking details so i can track progress - looks like it was never issued and they try to hide it.

I needed an official copy of my marriage certificate as soon as possible for my wife's visa. So I decided to use national records (Biggest Mistake). Although the fee was $160+, I was willing to pay whatever I could to get the certificate to my wife as soon as possible. It took my wife over six weeks to get a response by mail. Stating that our marriage was not on file. My credit card was also compromised, with unauthorized purchases made. I strongly urge you not to use this website. They steal your information, and you could get it for free on the government site. THIS WEBSITE IS A SCAM!!!

While my interaction with customer service was excellent, I found the prices very high. They charged me $68 for delivery and it came in regular mail with a 78 cents stamp! Abigail and Sacha were excellent.

They get a single star bc 0 is not an option.
At the time of posting this review it is March 2026, I requested my birth certificate back in august of 2025.
There has been little to no communication on their side aside from repeat requests for proof of current address, which had been provided multiple times.
They are not offering a refund.
These are con artists preying on people in desperation. Talk to your state government records department. They can guide you to actually finding it and the cost is under 40 dollars, they charge nearly triple that at national records.
I implore you, stay away.

National Records customer service response is excellent. They return emails promptly and with courtesy. It's comforting in this day in age to get an email from an actual human.

Sacha kept me informed and pursued answers to questions I had. This was very helpful since the process was a long one and I was unsure of its outcome.

They are a SCAM! They reply and say it’s “under review” months by pass. They refuse to refund because they say the order has already been sent out. But actually nothing has happened. Complete scam artists. Don’t use them!

I was trying hard to get a Long form birth certificate with all vital data for passport purposes, I tried to get it in other websites such as Vital or Go, however the state I was born (Delaware) only issues short forms through those websites, I call to the office in dover and they told me the only 2 ways to get a long form birth certificate are: Going in person, which was impossible to me (I live in the west coast) or request it by mail, but I decide to try NationalRecords.org because I was in a hurry, I specify them that I require a long form and they did everything to get it to me. But, there was a misunderstanding with Delaware vital office and Delaware sent me a short form! I immediately communicated with the support team of nationalrecords.org (Sacha) and they were incredibly helpful and fast, I did read that the replies from them usually take an average of 24 hours after to send the email, but this service is so good that the usually reply all my messages with less than 5 hours! That's incredible. Well I let them know that I got a short form birth certificate from Delaware and they immediately communicated with Delaware, after one day, the nationalrecords.org support team communicated with me and told me: we already talked with Delaware vital office, you can mail them back the short form certificate and get a long form birth certificate in exchange, I was so happy, that was so helpful, I immediately went to the post office, I paid the the express shipment plus a Prepaid shipping label to let Delaware office mail me back the long form certificate faster and I got it in the less than a week. When I Hired nationrecords.org I wasn't expecting such a great service, I was in a hurry so I decided to give them a chance and they didn't disappoint me. I'm so so grateful they helped me to solve this big issue!

Excellent customer service; I give them a 5, but it is pricey so over all a 4.5

Incredibly supportive experience overall. I'm currently unsure about the process of submitting my ID and Social Security Card images. Completing this step is important for me as I need my Real ID to return to Arizona. Already delayed by a month, I am ill-prepared for the harsh Alaskan winter. Without heading back home, enduring the severe cold here would be challenging for me.

I think $39 for shipping for a copy of a marriage certificate is ridiculous.. not to mention $97 for the copy
