As you know it is now illegal to smoke in a car, particularly if its being used for company use. I'll check with the team to ensure they brought this up with our supplier at the time as, in these times of Covid, we would expect them to clean cars thoroughly between hires. Generally good - some problems
All matters relating to finding and ordering the hire was fine. The vehicle coming, from what I assume was a sub-contractor, early was not a problem, indeed it was an extra benefit. However it being collected very late (four days) was a nuisance. It was not clear in the instructions that the collection time was an earliest possible. But still being quite so late was unexpected. It would have been handy if the vehicle still had its manual in it as it took me ages to find how to open the bonnet to put in screen wash. Other than that vehicle was in fine condition and drove well.

Pointless National vehicle hire
The service I was given was absolutely useless I placed the order which was confirmed and payment taken only to then get a call around the supposed delivery time saying no car was coming which ruined the day I had planned with the family due to the order being made on the weekend wouldn’t try to use again

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. We do state that we are closed at weekends and the soonest we can contact our suppliers is 09:00 on Monday morning. Having done this, we contacted you as quickly as possible to advise of the situation. We refunded your payment on the same day and were sorry our suppliers were not able to respond quickly enough to satisfy your booking. If you'd like to give us another try, our team may be able offer some incentive.

Really efficient, helpful and communicative. I hadn't realised they didn't open on weekends, so had made a booking for Monday lunchtime on Saturday. They got in touch first thing to check my requirements and sorted everything quickly. Also communicated well about pick-up. Would definitely use again.
