The local Bolton branch accommodated an on line appointment to my needs and on the day expected me. The windscreen replacement was available and i was quoted 2 hours for the repair to be completed. The manager of the unit (only staff member ) was superb and everything completed on time.

I booked appointment and they didn't came on booked day .they said the vehicle was break down who was coming to repair and they didn't send any one to replace him on same day .then again I booked appointment and they give me long date not short date .I missed my shift on that when they didn't came .they came from Trafford centre

He must have known they scratched it…
He must have known they scratched it and said nothing. The giveaway was returning to replace it and going straight to look at it before I opened the door. The customer service was excellent but a cancelled then repeat visit was annoying I lost time due to this. Then when job was done he just got in the van and drove off. Ideally I'd have preferred a different person on the 2nd visit.

Delay in implementation of repair.
Windscreen damage reported on Saturday. Replacement not implemented until the following Wednesday lunchtime. As the occupants were on holiday away from their home the delay resulted in incurring 3 nights extra accommodation in an hotel.

Great service, guy who came to fix my window was polite and straight to the job no messing around and left the area clean.
Evening arranging and having to rearrange the appointment the customer service was great.

Windscreen Replacement good, but car-specific adjustments and calibrations not good.
The actual replacement of the windscreen seems to have been done well, without fuss, and in the selcted/appointed time slot.
However, although the Company insisted that they had done all the necessary adjustments and calibrations to the vehicle that the Volvo required, it was necessary to have these done again, at some considerable expense by Volvo. The Co needs to be honest about this aspect and admit they do not have the necessary equipment and know-how to perform these often specialist functions, which are a significant cost add-on for the job to be completed properly.
