Long lead time, even longer for refund!
Ageas insurers advertise only one approved glass repairer's number: National Windscreens. I paid £60 excess for an appointment for windscreen replacement, but as the earliest was 2 weeks away and the car not legally drivable, I was obliged to go to Autoglass who could replace within 3 days. This took a number of phone calls to insurers to allow, and involved my paying up front. The reimbursement came back, but the £60 for the cancelled appointment with National Windscreens was anything but easy (not the 10 working days promised). Overall, quite unnecessarily stressful.

Perfect service. Job was finished before time, clean and tidy (as expected). Friendly and polite. If I ever need a replacement in the future this would be a provider of choice if it was up to me.

Replacement good, trying to pay...abysmal!
The fitters at the Dundee branch were helpful and polite. The paying process of the excess however, was abysmal! I could not pay when picking the car up and was given a phone number. That took me round in circles, I was left on hold and then after speaking to a person put back to the start again! I travelled back to the branch the next day as I wished to pay in person, they weren't able to take my payment, ludicrous! As as result I had to endure the payline number again. Eventually, I had someone useful on the end of the line who put the payment through for me.
