The place was dirty and short if staff. To have my car booked in at a time and then find when I have just got my car into the workshop another customer arrives on spec wanting a chip to be repaired and the fitter does his repair first. Not good !

Although I had to call severally to know the update, the arrival of the Techinician was still on time, he was very friendly and professional. Coming to my work place to replace the Windscreen really saved me a lot of stress

Easy to deal with, excellent work. They repaired my windscreen chip and I can't see where the damage was from the outside. Strongly recommend this company.

first visit was rescheduled after fitter found scratch on new screen,
came back after getting another screen 8 days and did an excellent job of fitting it.

My vehicle was returned with a fault - hazard warning detection no longer works. I called the branch where it was almost impossible to hear the conversation because of huge background noise from other staff in the office. Branch manager Katy Mason was unable to tell me if the fall could be cured and insisted I have to give up my time to return the vehicle to your depot.

I arranged an appointment (no1)with National windscreens in Ipswich. On arrival the fitter went to find the new windscreens and returned with one where the polythene wrapping was ripped open & it looked as if it had been there for a while. “Oh dear it’s damaged, I’ll have to order another one!’ I returned a week later (no2) it’s the wrong one! Visit (no3) the car was taken into the garage with another car behind it. “It needs 2 people to fit it. ‘There might be someone back after 3pm?’ Having been there since 9am I went home! Visit no4 I arrived at 9am with my wife following in her car so I could go home & get on with something useful. The place was all locked up & there were 2 customers with their cars looking very frustrated. Eventually a fitter from the Colchester branch arrived to collect a windscreen but he didn’t have a key. He thought they had all gone off sick! I told my wife to go home & I would wait to see if anyone turned up. They didn’t! I had to drive to Birmingham for a hospital appointment with a cracked windscreen. I booked appointment 5 for 12 to12-30 hoping they might be better organised by then. I was greeted by a fitter who said your appointment was for 10am ( INCORRECT!) they fitted a new windscreen and I returned home & examined the screen finding part of the rubber seal had been folded back under the plastic trim, which was sticking up. I managed to carefully lift it & put the seal back. I also found a large plastic moulding in the passenger foot well which had obviously been stuck to the screen to hold the cover for the cameras in place. The next day the cover for the cameras was hanging off the screen because the lump of butyl putty used to hold it had fallen off!
THIS COMPANY IS APPALLING & RUN BY A LOAD INCOMPETENT INDIVIDUALS. AVOID! I have made 5 return journeys 23 miles during rush hour traffic plus wasting a considerable amount of my time which could have been more usefully spent!

The booking process was great and the completion time was even better
But we had glass on the dash board plus shavings on the seat with my wife got some in her finger plus the dog went to the vets and cost a fortune with glass particles in her pads
Just a little more care to clean up would of made this service 5 stars

I was unfortunate to suffer damage to my windscreen which meant I needed a replacement and things only got worse from there. Upon collecting my vehicle I noticed that trim (both interior and exterior) had been damaged (which I was not told about), exterior trim not refitted correctly and the worst part is the windscreen fitted does not fit correctly (vin number window does not line up, looks warped and is too short) plus is of shocking quality, a cheap Chinese copy. The worse service I have ever experienced, they just don't care. It was handed back to with mud on the dashboard, with no pride of their work whatsoever.

You only managed to achieve 1star based on Mark in your call center and pleasant manner of fitter, the rest of the service was awful. No fitter at location when turned up for appointment, no call back to arrange alternative, has to chase, then the incorrect wipers were brought and could not be fitted

I took my car to have its windscreen repaired after a failed attempt to repair a chip it had.
On the morning of my booking, I arrived with my car at the requested time to find nobody in the office to take handover of my vehicle. A colleague then arrived 15 minutes later making me late for work. I was then told by the colleague that they were not meant to be there that day so didn’t know what my car needed doing. The colleague then proceeded to tell me that he would only be there until 2:30 but I don’t finish work until 5 meaning I had to take time out of my work day to collect the car. If I was made aware of this prior, I could’ve made better arrangements.
Later that morning, I received text messages and a voicemail asking me to call National Windscreens back. I was told the new windscreen arrived damaged so could not in fact be completed and I was asked to book a new appointment. On collection of my car, the windscreen had in fact been replaced and nobody understood why somebody called me.
When I received my invoice several days later, pre and post check comments had been removed so I could not view this. The invoice also did not include where payment should be made. I tried to email to clarify but have not had a response. I did receive a text message me reminding me to pay and a telephone number was left but the number provided was invalid!
My experience with National Windscreens has been unprofessional and disorganised. Unfortunately, I would be reluctant to use their service again.
