Good recovery from Seat-created issue
Due to Seat producing the same model with different specs (shortage of components) the wrong screen was supplied to Thetford branch but the man on site recognised the problem straightaway and organised an 'at home' fix which was completed very efficiently by two younger screen fitters.

Bad experience …
Was called to say my car windscreen had been replaced when I got there to collect there was a large crack in it. Rebooked for another day to be replaced again no call or msg to find out time, so had to chase this myself.
This time the screen was replaced but the black covering behind mirror was hanging off when I got in the car. I went back in and he said he would glue it if it keeps coming off. It’s obviously got broken and sticky black stuff was applied to try and make it hold up to look good, but didn’t hold long enough. 2 days annual leave had to be taken to get this sorted.

could do better
The guy who changed my windscreen was polite, friendly and professional and the job he did was fine. However, the screen installed was not the same as the screen I had (no sun strip along the top) and my lane assist is no longer working, which, I believe, is part of the windscreen sensors. The road speed sign identifier is working fine. I have written to you querying the issue but have not heard back and it's now almost a week since the screen was fitted.
