Bought as replacement for my old 'barefoot' hiking shoes. Nice design, and the lace design has improved

I have tried many vegan waterproof boots but these are my favourite so far, I love the comfort, the look, lightweight feeling and they keep my feet dry so far I haven’t taken them off in 2 weeks! I walk my 2 labradors about 4-6 daily and these are perfect in all terrains. The fact they’ve been produced ethically fit animals and the environment whilst fitting my feet in comfort is a winner fir me thank you

I’ve been traveling full-time for the last few months and these shoes have become my absolute must-have.

They’re so light that they barely add any weight to my luggage, yet they handle everything...airports, city walks, nature trails, even rainy days. What I love most is how easy they are to slip on and off during security checks, and how comfortable they stay even after hours of walking.

My feet don’t swell or ache anymore, and I actually look forward to exploring new places on foot. Honestly, if you travel often, these are the only shoes you’ll ever need!!

Lovely shoes, I really like them. I had to exchange for a different size twice and the replacement pairs came very quickly and no extra cost to me which I think is very generous. So great customer service.

I purchased shoes advertised as waterproof, but after the first use my feet were wet. When I contacted the company, they refunded part of the cost, which — according to their own Terms & Conditions — only happens when an item is faulty. Despite this, they refused to refund the remaining amount.

The communication was dismissive, and at one point they even threatened to pursue me for £200, which was completely unreasonable. I would avoid this company, as they don’t seem to understand basic customer service or the requirement for products to match their descriptions.

The bots are good. They are comfortable and light. They help stabilise my walking. I only wish they had come with no tie bootlaces. Once I bought and fitted some no tie laces they met my needs perfectly.

Ordered intemperia boots, which when they arrived were of low quality and were so rigid that it was impossible to get any flex through the forefoot, so not exactly "barefoot" shoes.

The biggest issue with them, however, is their terrible customer service and returns policy which does not meet UK consumer protection standards. Their £5 "fee" to process a refund is not allowed when the customer exercises their statutory right to cancel their order within 14 days of receipt of the goods and returns the goods unused, save for trying them on as you would in a shop.

Their customer service emails just constantly ignore this consumer protection, pointing to their "generous" refund policy and presumably knowing that ultimately most customers will just let the £5 slide or are unaware of their rights. The whole operation just smacks of doing everything to trade in the UK without complying with UK law. I see other customers have reported this to trading standards and I will be doing the same.

Edited - as per other customer reviews below, their response to this review was to threaten civil action if I pursue my consumer rights, which is absurd given the amount they are quibbling over is £7.68. The customer service team appears to just be stock AI generated emails, as they are never in anyway tailored responses.

Took me a while to decide to buy these boots but I am so very pleased I decided to purchase them. I have worn them twice and find them comfortable, warm and an excellent reason to go walking.

I love the shoes. They are more comfortable than when I get fitted by my local podiatrist that has his own shoe store.

The customer service is great and in every transaction I get the name of the person. I really like this. It makes it so much more personal which I miss these days.

I'm better than barefoot now, because my feet are protected.

I hadn’t ordered from these guys before and ended up with the wrong size but the returns process was really easy and got sorted really quickly.
I love my shoes and have worn them every day since.

The shoes are really comfortable. unfortunately we didn't receive the book 'The unknown secrets of barefoot shoes' that was meant to accompany the order Is it an ebook or physical copy ?

I ordered my Naturcontact boots…. And omg I wish I had known about this footwear earlier. I wear my boots on a daily basis both indoors and outdoors and feel so relaxed and comfortable when walking…. Would recommend to anyone…. 😊

I wanted a winter boot to walk my dogs, sometimes rough terrain on wet ground. Thus far they fit the bill but yet to experience how they last. These boots were immediately comfortable. For longer periods too. A great fit for me with a good wide toe box. As a long time barefoot fan (I wear nothing else) I’m very pleased with them.

Shoes are good quality but not entirely waterproof, bought a size bigger and customer service was helpful when needed.

The boots are realy waterproof. For walking with my hounds on wet nature paths.
The other shoes are good for people , who are not ushed to go barefoot. The best you can do is , to trie just as much time to wear them, as you feel comfortable. And that is going well.
