SCAMMMMMMMMERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I placed an order with these people two months ago and are telling me for the second time that they weather is not good enough to ship out yet. This company is a HUGE SCAM and will getting it investigated. If I were you file a report, call your credit card company and get your money back. They messed with the wrong person.

This company is a scam

They charge your card right away, then keep giving excuses for not shipping. Somehow it has been too warm for them to ship, even though I've received plants from other companies during the same period with no problems. Then suddenly my login to their site no longer works. Be sure to dispute the charges with your credit card company, don't fall for their "restocking fee" nonsense....the credit card companies will stop accepting charges from them if enough of us victims dispute the charges.

I'm betting most of the positive reviews they have are fake...

If you don’t get additional warranty, you are done

Got 2 plants on bogo deal. The thing is when they do bogo , you can’t get one plant. It automatically adds 2 plant Both arrived without any protection. Still planted them. Both didn’t show any growth after a month. Emailed and sent pics, was told to wait . Another 3 months later zero growth.emailed - replied with circumstances happen , you get 50% of plant price. Ok. Since you got on bogo - now you need to order 2 plants more + pay for shipping. Why do they get to decide how we use our 50% of the money?
I think they are doing this as a scam. If you paid for the extra warranty, you get good plants. If you don’t pay for that you get subpar plants and you either pay them more and more as they die or people just give up . Win for them both ways.

Be aware

Be aware. This company is a scammers. I purchased a white snow fountain tree and Yoshino flowering trees on June 19th, with a guarantee of 2 to 4 weeks for shipping. So far, only the white snow fountain has been shipped, and I’m still waiting for the Yoshino tree. I’ve contacted them four times since June, and they keep saying the shipping is delayed due to weather. It’s been four months, and they’ve told me to keep waiting. Now my lease has ended, and I’m moving to another state, so I need to cancel my order. However, they informed me I’ll be charged a 20% cancellation fee

Horrible customer service

I placed an order on Monday evening. On Tuesday night I noticed on the order confirmation that they had charged me $19.99 for shipping when the website said Free Shipping on orders over $139. Customer service was closed by then so I intended on calling the next day but my dog died suddenly and I didn't get around to calling until Thursday. The man on the phone was not helpful at all and just claimed there was nothing he could do since I had failed to see there was a code and had thus not entered the code. Easy mistake to make on my part and easy for him to fix on his end. However he refused to do so and they have thus lost yet another customer. This is not good business practices and successful business owners would not ever dream of treating their customers this way.

I ordered 2 vanilla strawberry…

I ordered 2 vanilla strawberry hydrangeas, what I received was some kind of plant that grows on the ground and a hydrangea long stock, just one long stock that bloomed with a white hydrangea, not vanilla strawberry. The one tall stock is not a bush. The other is a wild vine. They would not give my money back or replace them.
There are several good nurseries, this is not one. Don't waste your money!

I placed orders in late June and early…

I placed orders in late June and early July and still have not received my plants or the small tree. I have called a couple of times and Nature Hills has told me it has been too hot to ship the products. Meanwhile, they charged my account immediately upon me placing the orders. I just called to cancel the (2) orders and was told I would receive a refund minus 20% of what I paid them. If they were a reputable company they would not need to keep 20% of refunds. Especially when the products have not been shipped. They charge 20% of refunds because they know they have so many unsatisfied customers they can't effectively manage or satisfy customers, and it's the only way they can afford to stay in business! Shame on Nature Hills Nursery. I will never order from them again!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

Like many reviews below, this company is engaged in fraud. They take your order, do not ship because they claim "weather permitting" (when temps are reasonable and other companies are shipping) and then stop responding to you. They will charge you a 20% cancellation fee even though it is unlikely they even have the plants in stock to begin with. I asked for photos and they refused to provide them.

Let the buyer beware!

I bought 2 Limelight hydrangeas for $230. I kept one and gave one to my son. Both died. Nature Hills policy is to give 50% off on another purchase. Why would I want to buy another plant from them when I had two failures? If I took the 50% deal and that plant died, I would have just given them more money for nothing. My local nursery either replaces failed plants or refunds your money. Not only is that a fair policy, but it gives the buyer confidence that they are dealing with a reputable nursery that stands by their product.
I'll never buy from Nature Hills again.

This is a fake company

We ordered plants few months back, from this nursery and few others. Rest of the companies shipped the plants, and these guys just keep saying they will ship in some suitable weather. These guys need to be sued.

This company is a ripoff

This company is a ripoff. I ordered two trees in June. I tried to login three weeks after I ordered them to check on the status. I could not login. I called to check on things and they told me there was a computer glitch so I could not login. They said it was too hot to ship. Weird, since other companies were shipping with no problems. Two weeks later I called again, it was too hot. I emailed and got this letter saying it’s too hot. The next time I emailed I got the exact same email, even though it was 65 here and 70 where they were shipping for. I had to dispute the charge. I think they keep stringing people along until it’s too late to dispute. I have read near identical stories in reviews. I wish I had checked before I ordered.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY unless…

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY unless you are willing to accept dead trees. I ordered 6 lilac trees. When I purchased the trees, I looked at their "product guarantee" page and saw the information there about a one year guarantee of product. There is no mention of different warranties, or that the listed verbiage was only for a paid warranty, nothing. I only order from companies that can guarantee the plants aren't damaged or dead. Mind you, this wording says nothing about a paid warranty or anything--just that they will replace the plant. With this in mind, I placed the order. After four months, two of them were not growing any leaves and the little trimmed branches were brittle (they came dormant). Did my own scratch test on top half of tree and saw it dead. Emailed them about how I thought they were dead and they asked me to do scratch test on bottom of tree and to send pics. Did that. Tree was dead all the way down, which to me says it was either dead or near death when they shipped them. All six are planted the exact same way and the other four are doing fine. I get an email response saying they only give a 50% credit for getting replacement. WHAT????? I call and tell them what it says online. Get this!!! They are telling me about a DIFFERENT warranty that is located on the TERMS OF SERVICE page. They said that 'I agreed" to the terms when I purchased the trees and did not purchase the 'additional warranty' that was offered during checkout. I asked why this supposed 'complimentary warranty', as he called it, wasn't on the same page with the other information where it belongs and 'why' there is no language on the first page saying that it only applied to the paid warranty??? Usually, terms of service pages are about the webpage, NOT where the guarantees are located. I asked why they would hide this on a separate page, knowing people are going to the obvious page of product guarantee???? He said it was our job to read all links before purchasing. So the credit will only cover one trees cost plus I would have to buy the second AND pay for shipping again. They don't do refunds so you are stuck doing a reorder so you don't lose the money they do credit you. This is a ridiculous scam. These trees were expensive. A reputable vendor would not hide information and attempt to obfuscate when asked to replace the trees given how confusing the website is. On the verge of being a scam. BUYER BEWARE!!! And to others' points on shipping, I had to call and ask where my order was. Order took weeks to get here. Called and they said it can take at least six weeks for orders to be filled. Not good when you are trying to plant within season.

Will never purchase from this company…

Will never purchase from this company again. Never received my order. All I get is a run around. Opened several tickets(how you contact them) and only get the same response. They have stopped responding now, and to make matters worse my login credentials no longer work. Good thing I took screenshots of my order confirmation. Otherwise I wouldn’t have any proof of my order. I’m now out $170.
Buyer beware!

Awful experience

Awful customer experience; more with their policies and lack of communication regarding orders than the customer service people themselves. With every interaction you feel yourself getting screwed over. It's been 3.5 weeks since I placed my order. Now I have to decide if I want to eat the 20% restocking fees for two trees they haven't even pulled yet.

The WORST

Had a horrible experience with them! Never received my order, didn’t provide any updates, kept giving me excuses why it hadn’t shipped - and then wanted to charge me 20% restocking fee when it never was sent! Crooks!!!

Easy to find plants I was looking for

Easy to find plants I was looking for. Easy to find recommended products to purchase.
Each plant gives a detailed description of the plant best area of your garden or yard to plant it and the type of soil it requires.
The website also specifically identifies your zone by zip code, so you know if plant can thrive in the area of the country where you live.
I have ordered multiple plants from Nature Hill Nursery, and they arrive packaged with great care in order to withstand shipping.
The plants I have ordered have been perfect and often blooming when they arrive.
