Cero stars! Awful service

Cero stars. Awful customer service. My 73-year-old mother-in-law spent £1,500 in cash on a set of couches, only for the electric recliner to fail the moment the delivery team left and she tried to use it. She lives alone, suffers from arthritis and a heart condition, and has not been able to sit in the chair she paid for.

It has now been over a week of calls and complaints, and instead of replacing a brand-new faulty chair, they are talking about “maintenance” and “wear and tear” — on a chair that broke on DAY ONE. Absolutely unbelievable.

To make matters worse, they are asking an elderly woman to complete online forms and record videos just to prove the chair is faulty. This is completely unacceptable and shows a shocking lack of compassion and customer care.

She spent her life savings on this furniture and has been treated with delays, excuses, and zero accountability. She didn’t buy a second-hand chair that needed repairs — she bought a NEW chair that should work.

Jamie@Chester

Jamie couldn't have been more helpful. We walked into the store and met Jamie straightway. Explained exactly what we were after and he took us directly to the sofa which we purchased. Wasn't the colour we went looking for but it ended up being perfect.
He was so friendly, new a lot about the soda bed we purchased. We plan to return for more items and will head directly to Jamie. Great customer service.

Terrible service we purchased a table…

Terrible service we purchased a table 19th April they only sent the table top and we are still waiting for the legs. Tried numerous times to get a resolution and they are refusing to refund the money. Avoid do not buy from this company

Great experience at NCF

We went to NCF Chester looking for a mattress. We were very well looked after by MARGO. She gave us great advice and was very knowledgeable about the products. She was very professional and made our experience easy. We ordered a mattress. The whole process was smooth. Looking forward to receiving our new mattress soon. Thank you, especially to Margo.

Jamie at the Chester store was…

Jamie at the Chester store was extremely helpful. We took a look round on the Saturday where Jamie talked us through the styles & sofa designs ( without pressure). We returned to the Chester store on Sunday to purchase our 2 sofas with Jamie.
Great service and more impressive there was no pressure or sales speech.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company!
I paid for an 'extra'/sale settee, chair and footstool on 17th April 2026. Asked to complete a review at point of sale. This is their ploy for reviews being high. Up to that point all was good, but not since. The written receipt/contract of sale states delivery agreed for 8th May 2026. Items needed for a special event. Delivery did not happen. No text or call from the courier or shop (Chester). I called the only number I was given (on receipt) which is the head office number. Their calls are not recorded (wonder why?). Rang them twice to enquire about delivery and ask for the Chester branch contact. Told there are no numbers for the branch or courier and all I could do is go to the shop in Chester. NCF website clearly states I would be contacted "30-60 minutes before delivery". There will be a record of this if they do try to say they called and I missed the call, which I did not. NCF have therefore breached our contract and I will be in their branch today (as they said was all I can do) with my credit card for a full refund under the Sale of Goods Act. Further review to follow after I visit today and record all that happens in store, which I have the legal right to do, and I will inform them of such. Watch this space.
