NCF supplied the wrong sofa,the shop…

NCF supplied the wrong sofa,the shop sales person and manager admitted there mistake,however it took five months to get our money back only after the credit card company lawyers contacted them (Section 75)
We placed the order and waited the normal three months for delivery, plus the five months to get our money back. The customer service was absolutely terrible,there is only one phone number which just added you to a queue which eventually cuts you off.
The email address given as an alternative contact can take weeks for a reply. Terrible experience, !!!!!

Excellent customer service from Ashraf

Excellent customer service from Ashraf! He helped me choose and buy a bed and walldrop and the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. Ashraf is extremely excellent in customer care very professional, patient, and helpful. Highly recommended!

Respond with lies

Delivered damaged
Delivery company did not know what to do
Couldn’t get through to ‘Customer Services’
Took two days to come back to me with a generic message - a supplier will be in touch
They haven’t been and I have had no answer to three emails
Tried to talk to the showroom manager at Lakeside - The most obnoxious, aggressive and rude person I have ever dealt with - basically shrugged his shoulders and said you will have to wait for customer service to email you.
Terrible terrible company- AVOID
See the response below - I was told to contact the third party delivery company myself - finally got through today after being on hold for 20 minutes and NCF have not asked for a replacement to be delivered - So basically LIED to me. Still no bed in sight and still nos response from NCF worth reading - disgusting behaviour
Maybe should answer queries as quick as you flannel complaints on here !

On 19th May 2026

On 10 January 2026, I purchased a bed package consisting of a divan, mattress, and headboard for my daughter. At the time of purchase, I was advised that the full order would be delivered in early February. Based on this assurance, we disposed of her existing bed.
However, when delivery took place on 5 February 2026, the order arrived incomplete (no mattress) and in an unacceptable condition, with visible stains and marks on both the divan and headboard. This left my daughter without a proper bed, and she was forced to sleep on the sofa for several weeks whilst we arranged a temporary mattress for her to sleep on.
Following my complaint, it took seven weeks and four days before a replacement was delivered on 31 March 2026. Regrettably, this delivery was again incomplete, with no mattress provided.
After further complaints, I was informed that NCF was unable to fulfil my original order. The bed was ultimately collected on 12 May 2026, and I have only just received my refund today the 19th May 2016.
This entire process has taken over four months, during which my daughter has been left without a proper bed. Even now, we face an additional four-week wait for a replacement bed from another retailer, meaning she will have gone nearly five months without suitable sleeping arrangements due to NCF’s failure.
In addition to the above:
I have made multiple attempts to contact their customer service team, often struggling to get through.
Calls are frequently disconnected, making it extremely difficult to resolve the issue.
Despite repeated complaints, I have only received apologies, with no meaningful resolution or acknowledgment of the impact this situation has had.
To say I am disappointed is an understatement. The level of service provided falls far below what would reasonably be expected.
