I earned over $1000 in work six months ago and was never paid. There is no option to talk to a person and AI help chat does nothing

It took months but atleast they paid me for the work I've done. It is LEGIT but definitely needs improvement in processing payments so people won't think it's a scam.

I finished 200 tasks for Neevo in May. I was supposed to start receiving payment at least 2 weeks after. They didn’t send out an email saying they were having issues with payments. I had to email them, then they said it’s a payment issue on their end. I gave it another week and still no updates. Also, they keep emailing me saying they have bonuses and raising the pay for tasks.

It's not a complete scam, as in the past I got paid for some stuff, and the jobs actually exist. But the amount of wasted time for unpaid jobs, "error", uncollected data or just wrong verification methods is insane. Probably not worth your time.

I tried Neevo and I absolutely regret it. I spent hours and hours doing text to audio work and I have yet to be paid. That was in April, it is now June. Everytime I reach out to them, I get the standard reply of "Unfortunately, we don't have any progress on the payment situation yet. We will inform you as soon as we have an update. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience." TWO MONTHS...ZERO PAY....HOURS OF WORK DONE! It feels like a scam to me.

Neevo's vague payment terms are a major red flag. Despite their FAQ vaguely mentioning a "2 weeks" payment period, there's no clarity in their official terms and conditions. This ambiguity gives Neevo free rein to withhold payments indefinitely without facing any consequences.

Moreover, the actual payment process is a nightmare. Neevo seems to enjoy keeping payments hostage, disregarding any promised timeframes. As a contributor, you're left at their mercy, with no guarantee of timely compensation for your hard work.

Adding insult to injury is their support team, or lack thereof. Dealing with Pedro or Daniela feels like talking to a brick wall. Instead of offering real solutions, they dish out generic, copy-paste responses, stringing users along with promises of payments "soon" or "in the coming weeks".

Save yourself the headache and steer clear of Neevo. Their lack of transparency, delayed payments, and unhelpful support make them a company to avoid at all costs.

I dedicated many hours working for this company, part of which I had to do a lengthy qualifying test, which was time-consuming and I did not get paid for. For the many hours of eligible for pay work I submitted on April 6th, I still have not been paid. They sent me the following email, which is obvious that they cut and pasted and sent to all the people they have not paid:

Hi .......... 👋 We hope you're doing well.

Please be informed that we will be gradually processing delayed payments over the upcoming weeks, with an expected cadence of weekly payments.

At this time, the specific order in which jobs will be paid has not been finalized.

It's important to note that you will receive a notification from PayPal as soon as the payment is sent. We understand the importance of providing clear payment schedules and prioritizing job payments. Our team is actively addressing the technical issues to ensure resolution.

Your understanding and patience during this time are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WORKING FOR THIS COMPANY. IT IS OBVOUS THAT THEY ARE SCAMMING MANY, AND DO NOT INTEND TO PAY US. SHAME ON YOU NEEVO!

I'm not sure if this is a complete scam or just really poorly run, either way, the result for me is the same: no pay.

I worked on a job for them which paid per task, I was quick and accurate and it turned out to be about $2/hr. Okay, lesson learned; they're cheap and not worth my time.

However, the job ended April 9th and I have no idea when or if I will get paid. for the past few weeks they simply say:

"Please be informed that we will be gradually processing delayed payments over the upcoming weeks, with an expected cadence of weekly payments.
At this time, the specific order in which jobs will be paid has not been finalized."

So my advice is don't waste any time working for this company.

They do not pay. Don't waste your time signing up.

They do not pay, their customer service is the worst in the world . Imagine that never get paid and no one in the company care .if you start any job there , good luck

Neevo deserves zero stars actually.there is no way I did work on January text audio collection and upon asking am being told they don't know when my payments will be processed how is that possible validation taking 4 months and still sending me other jobs and even they have the guts to offer me bonuses when I don't do the job do I look like a chicken to you where you will use your bonuses to entice me do that job .This company is not taking our work seriously.If you think starting working for them just forget about payments.You people pay us stop using us to make money for yourselves, compensate us also.

I did many Tasks but they never paid for me. now its already 4 months from last job i have submited.

For some tasks I was just not getting paid as I failed the “quality test” even I’m very certain the transcription was correct. Payments were often done many months later. Don’t bother working for them. Just gonna get ripped off…

i registered like 2 months ago and still haven't been given any task

I did some work with NEEVO in January, and now it's March, and they're yet to pay me. When should we expect our payments? This is not okay. DEAL WITH YOUR SYSTEM. We as freelancers need to get our payments according to what you stated on your agreement, otherwise we would have used our time in other platforms. YOU ARE VERY UNFAIR!!!!!!

Two tests need to be passed to start using the platform: one in writing, one in listening.
I passed the writing, then went on to the listening one. Too bad for me, I had sometimes up to 3 different streams overlapping, which made it impossible to perform the task in the requested time.

Asking if I could run the test again, but this time on a different browser (maybe the glitch came from the one I was using), Neevo pretended "that won't be possible until the issue is fixed. As you may understand, we can't do that individually. We currently have other users with the same issue, and more might come."

Right. So you knew about it, but still leave the possibility for people to waste time on a non-working test?

That was 2 years ago. My ticket is still open today - or so they say.

In this moment I´m trying to register myself into NEEVO, and I already had put my PayPal account along to it, but why does they need my bank account since they already have my PayPal? Doesn´t have too many sense. If someone can explain please.

ITS AN OFFICIAL "NO". I DID MORE WORK, THINKING THEY HAD GOTTEN BETTER. OVER 3 MOS NOW- IM YET TO BE PAID AGAIN.

ALSO I SAW WHERE THIS COMPANY HAS THE UNMITIGATED GALL TO SAY YOU MUST DO A SPECIFIC AMOUNT OF WORK TO BE PAID. EXCUSE ME? WORK IS WORK. I SEE THEY'RE CRUISING FOR A BRUISING- CALLED A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FOR REAL.

I watched a video just posted Jan 10 on Youtube of an African girl giving a good review explaining how to setup & get paid on Neevo & after reading many poor 1 star reviews I wonder if Neevo paid her to give a good review.
So I did further research on Trust pilot, etc. Very disappointing I found that back to February 2023 almost every review was 1 star numerous complaints of not getting paid for months & the same copy/paste reply from Neevo some issue with payment system.
Then on other user complaints they say how serious they are about their QUALITY when it comes to CLIENTS, NOT EMPLOYEES. For instance This reply on Oct 9th to an employee about Suspicious activity...At Neevo, we vigorously assess the quality of work submitted so our clients receive only the best caliber data sets.
Unfortunately they are not committed to the same CALIBRE OF VIGOROUSLY ASSESSING THE QUALITY OF THEIR PAYMENT SYSTEM TO PAY THEIR EMPLOYEES WASTING THEIR TIME ON JOBS EXPECTING TO GET PAID.
So why would I waste my time or anyone reading the numerous very poor reviews for a Disreputable company that apparently does not have Quality management Vigorously working to assure their employees are paid for their work ? Any respectable company would be diligent in making certain employees are paid for their work
I hope these poor reviewers will report to the proper agencies this that seems criminal & negligent to any conscious observer
