Appalling service

Appalling service - debited my card and did not deliver the items, then closed my account and said they couldn't find the details. It's very difficult to contact them: you have to message via an online form, their emails are noreply, so you can't retain context when there is a complex issue. I am completely at my wits end.

Terrible service

Almost an hour in chat for a sample warranty claim, provided order number, date, photo, serial number. More than 1 hour for a sample warranty claim :D

Since 19 years: Nespresso in it's worst shape ever!

In general, Nespresso is a reputable producer of high-quality coffee and coffee machines. However, ordering coffee capsules has become increasingly cumbersome and unreliable—qualities not typically associated with a Swiss company.

I've been a loyal Nespresso customer since January 2006, but I've never been closer to switching to another brand. The Nespresso system relies on a seamless coffee delivery service. If that part fails, the entire system fails.

Customer service needs significant improvement

The software/app is a disaster for anything other than ordering coffee. My account was erased, and I lost my status—they can’t even recover it. I can’t update my credit card; they asked me to call them. The contact times published on their website are apparently incorrect. I own five Nespresso machines, all of which will be replaced immediately. A company like this should make customer service its top priority.

Despite cancelling the machine abo

Despite cancelling the machine abo, they still try to take money annd indeed anre threatening me with payment messages… and now have blocked my spending account. They are trying to resolve the situation, however they tell me that their abo department is having technical issues. This is a common problem it seems as many others have complained. We will not be using Nexpresso any more.

If I could put 0 I would!

If I could put 0 I would!
The nerves of customer service, the lies and miscommunication. I sent my machine that had my areoccino included in repair (as it was in warranty). They found insects in the machine and proceed to destroy it because not covered. They also destroyed the aeroccino (which was completely functional and not affected by the insect problem). Then they told me that they would give me a discount for a new machine which then they said it could not be the same machine I had before. When I asked if I could have my aeroccino back, they first said that they could not because I can not use it on a non-original base (which I was not since I have another one) and then when they could not argue with that, they told me that they had to destroy it together with the machine. This company could have made things for me so much easier and retain a loyal customer (since I have been buying capsules from them) but instead decide to destroy the relationship with me together with the machine!! Never mind I'll gladly buy from a competitor

The worst customer experience of my…

The worst customer experience of my life. English speaking customer service agent, the rudest I have ever encountered. Shame on you Nespresso, I have been a loyal customer since the beginning, no longer.

Customer Service lies to clients.

I called the so-called Nespresso assistance since they claim they can repair my “Expert” machine. We bought it in 2019; it was one of the most expensive ones. It was our 5th or 6th machine since we use Nespresso for more than 25 years. Assistance is a lie!
They allegedly cannot repair the machine because it is too old! The person I had in the phone even lied by pretending it was no longer sold for well before 2019. When we bought it we compared with the price on their site and bought it slight cheaper from microspot.
It is already unacceptable that an advertised assistance is not provided. It is unbearable that a customer service lies to clients. Well, we are no longer clients.

Almost impossible to get the promised promotion

I bought a machine and kindly received a “gift” of 90 CHF. The flyer promises that the gift can be obtained in three easy steps.
The actual experience has been fundamentally different: The web flow didn’t work, I called about three times customer service and have been told three times something else. Bottom line is that one has to fill in a form that they say they will send (NB: online not possible), then they will notify you that your “promotion has been accepted” - and if you did not give up on it by then, I am sure they will stipulate some minimum purchase of sorts that makes you pay on top of it.

Bad, really bad customer experience!

PS: Please don’t respond with the usual “I am sorry for the inconvenience-talk”. That’s just uncouth. I recommend investing in better and more honest marketing as well as stronger UX people.
