Eventually customer service step up…

Eventually, after a lot of frustration and annoyance, Nespresso have done what they should have done in the 1st place.

I am trying to get my Vertuo machine…

I am trying to get my Vertuo machine repaired since March 2025. Today, Monday 2nd of June, it is the 5th time I stay at home from 8am to 1 pm waiting for someone to come and collect my machine. It is the 5th time that nobody turns up for collection despite confirming the dates.
I have communicated with NESPRESSO France chatline and after many apologies they give another date and it all ends the same way.
Today, NESPRESSO confirms that Mondays, Chronopost France is not available for collections in my area despite offering me Mondays. I am so desperate that I had to buy another coffee machine. They have said that the collection it is now scheduled for tomorrow. I have requested if they can collect it from another address as I am not at home tomorrow morning but they’ve said, no. The lack of flexibility and their lack of communication and logistics organisation makes it very frustrating. The customer assistant dealing with me thought that my issue was treated fairly and therefore, not worthy of it being taken on by a superior. I am left impotent before this situation. I will write to their head office but I am left feeling so disappointed.

Do NOT buy the Vertuo Next Machine!!

Absolutely appalling quality - it broke after only one month! The machinations of the capsule part of the machine are weak and flimsy and the machine globally is a disaster. I've lost 2 cartridges of capsules trying to get it to work so the expenses keep multiplying.

NO response from customer service about having it serviced or replaced.

I've been with Nespresso for 20 years and am appalled by the fact that they've gone from a helpful, quality company to a shoddy, dishonest one

Normally no problem

Normally no problem, but recently I ordered the capsules compostable, a very good idea I thought 🤔but they keep getting stuck in my pixie coffe machine sometimes you have to break the capsules to get them out, then you have coffee grounds everywhere.
So a good idea …. But I shall not buy them again until they work properly!

Worst Customer Service

Made an order and received an email from their delivery agent saying it would be delivered no later that 17th
Having waited in all day nothing turned up.
Nespresso customer service could care less and just kept saying you have to wait. I'm not waiting in for days until the order might turn up, whenever. Completely useless

Biased staff and they discriminate clients !

Went to Nespresso Opera - Paris yesterday and hated the service provided by a female staff . They are biased, arrogant and judgemental . Tried to buy a coffee that despite being on list , they only sell to a specific group of people ( ambassadors) , staff are biased as they judge you by the way you look and made remarks about the price ( like you couldn't afford it ) . They behaved like they are selling Hermés bags !! Arrogant and ignorant people !

How to make coffee complicated!

I’ve been a loyal NESPRESSO member since 2006 in the UK and never had a problem. I’ve moved to France and discovered their customer service does not exist and worse still, the company is so conceited they would not let me buy a coffee machine at their Cannes store because my name and email are already in use for my Uk account, which cannot be transferred to France. They suggested I get a friend to buy it for me and then that friend must also order all my future coffee. And they will need to see that persons passport or ID. This is coffee, not tax evasion. Utter pomposity.
