Should have bought one sooner!
Good service, prompt delivery. Amazing and immediate improvement in our water quality after fitting the Harvey water softener! Should have done it a long time ago to protect skin, clothes, home appliances. Water tastes great too!

Very nice company to buy from. Couple of ‘phone calls to very knowledgable assistants, ordered TwinTec water softener and received an extra email reminding me to order salt ! Thank you. Installed by my local plumber Andy - fantastic job and fantastic system. Thoroughly recommend great service.

Poor service
I spent a significant amount of money on a water softener and installation kit, only to discover that some parts were missing.
I requested an email confirmation once the missing parts were dispatched but never received any communication.
I understand that mistakes can happen—it’s how those mistakes are handled that matters. I had a plumber booked for the weekend, so I called on Thursday to report the missing parts. I was told they would be shipped on Friday, but delivery wouldn’t be until Monday. Given the error was on their end, I would have expected them to arrange a weekend delivery.
I also asked to be notified when the parts were sent. When I didn’t hear back, I called again on Friday afternoon and was told they weren’t sure if the parts had been shipped and needed to check with the manufacturer.
Overall, a frustrating experience. Poor communication and lack of urgency in resolving the issue. I do not recommend.

We are sorry to hear about your experience and have tried hard to make it our mission to turn things around. After checking our system - it seems the last time you ordered from us was Feb 2024 - over a year ago. This review is the first notification we have received from yourself about the order.
Your order was for a water softener - so we are confused to how the item was damaged? In most cases damages are reported to us by customers and we simply and quickly replace the product.
After speaking to you very briefly before your meeting - we have been trying to contact you on 5 occasions to find out more information.
With that being said we wanted to check to see if you have left a review to the right retailer or If you are referring to order #3712 from over a year ago? We cannot see any recent orders on our system.
We are sorry if your order from Feb 2024 was indeed damaged - had we been contacted or informed we would have loved to have offered a refund or replaced this product but we were not contacted by yourself or made aware until now (however, we are still trying to offer some reimbursement for you, and are willing to over look our policy which states that issues and faults with products are called to be reported within 28 days).
The review to our small hard working team is disappointing and in this case does feel a little unfair given the circumstances & time period. If there has been a mistake let us know or if you would like to chat further about a refund for the damaged order please give us a call back.

Harvey Twintech S4
We bought a Twintec S4 to replace an older Harvey model which had been installed around 12 years ago.
The new device has been in operation for about 12 months and hasn't missed a beat.
North East Watersofteners were both knowledgeable and helpful throughout the buying process. Once we decided to buy it arrived quickly and was straightforward to install.

Staff were very friendly and informative, the speed of delivery was excellent, and the price was cheaper than Harvey!
Also got 6 packets of salt in one of their deals.
