I bought my Freelander three and a half years ago, and since then I have taken it to Newbury 4X4 for servicing and MOT's. The staff are extremely efficient, polite and professional! The workmanship is top notch and the price is both reasonable and affordable.
I would highly recommend them to anyone, and as long as I drive a 4X4, that's where I'll be taking it every time!

Newbury 4x4 are excellent and my new go to for my Defender and Disco Sport.

I talked to my usual Land Rover specialist nearer home about why my Defender 90 Puma was using oil even though no leaks but they had no idea!

Having regularly used Newbury 4x4 years ago, for Discos and a Freelander 1, before moving house I gave them a call and drove 60 miles to see them. They diagnosed injector seals leaking which was pressuring the rocker cover, and were confident that was the issue. I booked the car in and sure enough they have solved the problem.

I’m very happy to travel the 60 miles each way from now on and have services and any work done on both of my current LR vehicles.

A super family operation that always makes the time to sort out the endless list of breakages on a Defender!

Nothing with a Land Rover ever strikes me as cheap but The Newbury 4x4 Centre is not as expensive as Stratstone or Marshall (obviously)! Staff are very personable and friendly and good with communicating and explaining estimated and eventual costs. Generally, quick turnarounds also. Overall, I have received a very good service on a number of occasions and highly recommend the business.

The team at Newbury 4x4 were all absolutely brilliant when dealing with my Land Rover Defender. It was super easy to get my vehicle recovered to them following an engine fire and they understood that a Defender is like part of your family! The communication I received was first class and everything was explained in detail so there weren’t any hidden, unexpected extra costs. The cost of the repair was less than I had feared and the car now drives like new.

I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to anyone with a 4x4.

I cannot see a reason to take my Freelander elsewhere, LR are not always the cheapest vehicles to maintain but I think I get my money’s worth from Newbury 4x4.
