I tried to contact to speak about an issue with their new Argos pay- 30 mins on phone - with send around in circles with their answering system unable to speak to someone- chat similar experience hanging on and no agent - extremely poor experience for someone new to this company- already missing the easy of the Argos system.

Sorry to say that I will be reporting both Newday & Argos to the Financial Conduct Authority for the manner at which they transferred the Argos accounts. I specifically took out 12 month plans because I had the ability to pay chucks off those plans whenever I felt like it in a manner that avoided all interest. Since Argos sold their credit arm to Newday Newday have removed this ability & broken the terms that I entered in to.
It is disgraceful behaviour by both Argos & Newday.
The original credit agreements with Argos needs to be honoured, as does the ability to pay them off as & when chosen within the length of time entered in to.
Absolutely shocking & there is no excuse for it other than a money grab.

Very good and helpful staff there with genuine payment holidays for who needs it the most and want to pay off balance with some interest. The interest rate is too high though. Credit Limit is high. I would have IG Trading (officially) as not a gambling and stock brokerage and should be a purchase please but that is at NewDays discretion. Application, payment and service has been outstanding. Thank you

Why on earth Argos have left us with this company is beyond me. I have three payment plans at present which until this week I have managed very well, I like to pay, usually weekly to whichever plan I choose to. I’ve always paid my BNPL plans early to avoid paying interest. I can’t do this now as NewDay have removed this facility. It’s not a big deal but I liked the old Argos app and the way I paid plans. The live chat is also crap! I hate this company already. I’m going to pay my balance off as quickly as possible and close my account, it’s a shame really because my first port of call for expensive electricals has always been Argos but not anymore and I’ve been an Argos customer for a lot of years.

after installing the new argos pay app im bombarded with text messages and mail to my private adress, bearing in mind i have not registered on this app or provided it with any personal details, still awaiting reply to the 2 emails sent to newday as to how they can presume to, know my emails and phone number,Exactly what information is this app extracting from my phone without consent,eh no il be calling nobody you seem already to have my email without consent so i suggest you use it to explain how an app that i have never given any personal details knows my number and personal email and in fact has communicated it to your company

Despite repeated attempts to register on new Argos Pay, transferring from the excellent Argos Card app, have still not received an ORN. Requested multiple times now but no email received. Phone lines at capacity so no chance of resolving. Disaster of a launch.

When argos closes for good ( the way they are going probably this time next year )The frank spencer inspired idea to scrap the popular and smooth running argos card system will quite likely be up there among the worst and stupidest ideas in history if not at the very top of the list. Theres always one clown sat in an office somewhere that thinks he /she knows what they are doing isnt there?.Received the letter with the orn code its useless - details not recognised - tried resetting it on the app - it says email sent - (it hasnt ) . Im not even going to attempt to ring them up i dont have 2 days to spare. Really glad i paid off my bill in full several months ago because i had a feeling something like this might happen.I have been an argos customer for nearly twenty years but will take my custom elsewhere now, Adios!

Excellent service from New Day/Marbles. Great customer service. They were a great help when I had a dispute with an item purchased that was totally unacceptable, New Day were brilliant and I received the help within 48 hours. I have had this card for a number of years, never had any issues with them. Highly recommend.

Had my Argos Card for around 15 years. Not the best app but functional and was able to pay when needed. Day one of New Day taking over and I'm unable to register. It says I should have had an online registration number by email, and if not, to click to resend. Did this twice, still no ORN to enable me to register, to enable me to pay - unless I take time out of my day to call them. I recall having a Dorothy Perkins card for more than a decade, and writing to New Day to close the account after they took over, because the customer service turned out to be dire. Looks like my Argos card will be going the same way.
EDIT - Thank you for the reply. My two online registration number emails came through, after around 20 hours, so clearly a massive delay (as these things are usually automated / instant?). So I've been able to register. Can't say I'm a fan of the app now that I'm in it, it doesn't appear very user friendly and is very basic, but I'll wait and see how it goes.

Day one of Newday taking over Argos pay ,I have been trying to contact them re setting up an argos pay app its a nightmare . My details are coming up as not recognised, yet when I got through by an automated call with the same details my payment went through. Soon after I get an email from newday on my email that they didnt previously recognise saying I was in arrears . This is only day one !!! Nightmare
