First time buyer
As a first time buyer, I was purchasing a property through New Home Solutions Estate Agent. My conveyancing process was somewhat long-winded due to various different factors out of the control of myself and the EA. Throughout Helen Dyson was an invaluable contact who kept me and my partner updated. Towards the end of our experience, Helen went above and beyond to ensure that I was able to give suitable notice on my rental property- this effort made a big difference to us.

Where do I start?!
I’ve just submitted a formal complaint with the CEO because the property ombudsman didn’t see that I’d raised a formal complaint to this lot despite numerous emails being sent to various people about each complaint raised (there’s a lot!) from speaking to me like crap, allowing a sale to fall through, leaving my property unsecured and telling viewers I was on holiday along with allowing viewers to take pictures and videos of my home and damaging a sentimental ornament. The agent who I talk of is still employed, I’ve received no apology and for some reason the director dealing with the complaint thinks the matter is resolved.. completely laughable. Do yourselves a favour and choose a different estate agent. They’ve caused me an enormous amount of stress and I’m down nearly £10k because the buyer pulled out due to nothing being actioned on the file that I asked them to action. A complete joke of a company!!!!! I shall be taking my complaint and request for redress to a small claims court and I’m merely going through the process at present as I don’t believe they’ll take ownership as they haven’t so far

Sold in Record Time with Outstanding Service
I had a great experience with New Home Solutions, who were nominated by Bloor Homes to sell my apartment. The whole team acted with real urgency and kept me regularly updated on progress with the buyer’s side.

She kept me consistently informed, communicated clearly, and ensured nothing was left chasing, which gave me real peace of mind during the process. They sold my apartment in record time, in less than a week, and everything was handled efficiently and professionally from start to finish. I’m extremely grateful for the support and would happily recommend New Home Solutions to anyone selling their home.
Exceptionally stressful experience
I was buying this house as a part exchange from Persimmon Homes. As soon as my offer had been accepted I was put under pressure to complete to unrealistic deadlines, which kept moving, when I was finally in a position to exchange contracts it transpired that the legal title of the house had not been transferred to Persimmons, at this point I was told by Helen that Persimmon would not allow completion to go beyond 19 December, leaving just over a week for the title to be updated. My solicitor would not allow an unsafe completion, with the hard deadline of 19 Dec at risk Helen said that my solicitor was making a fuss over something that was normal with a part exchange and inferred that I would lose my house if I didn’t complete on the 19 Dec. Thankfully the land registry changed the title in the nick of time and I hit the deadline. The amount of stress this whole transaction caused me became physical and I would not care to go through this again
Fine but be aware of the challenges.
We went through New Home Solutions as buyers of a property that the sellers had part exchanged through Persimmon Homes. Initially when we wanted to view the property the process was easy and we got booked in quickly. It was strange not having an in-person estate agent but we went with it. However, when we wanted to put an offer in it was a nightmare to get hold of anyone and the communication to let us know if it had been accepted was slow.
We would have check-ins from Vanessa, Sarah and Claire but these were few and far between. We changed agents so many times that it was hard to keep up with who was handling our case at the time as it seemed to change regularly so we never knew who we needed to contact.
Communication was the biggest issue, when we rang with a query, we would rarely get a callback. Towards the end I was getting lots of phonecalls but these were to hassle me to hassle my solicitor about closing on our property without the Title Deed Certificate, which is something our solicitor didn't want to do to protect our rights as clients and we didn't feel comfortable with. I recall one conversation with an agent during this time who went on what I would call a rant about this process which on the whole made me feel wholly uncomfortable as it seemed highly unprofessional and like they were just trying to rush us into closing the sale quicker.
Overall, communication was poor and trying to get hold of anyone was challenging, callbacks were even more challenging. Vanessa and Sarah who we worked with were incredible and helpful when we spoke to them but towards the end the agents we had were not great.

New Home Solutions were brilliant from start to finish during the purchase process of our new home. Everyone we dealt with were always friendly and professional and checked in with us along the way. We couldn’t have been happier with their service!

The whole process was going great until a day before completion. When we found out the our purchase wasn’t going through.
And then a 16 week wait with no one knowing what was going on. And us have to contact everyone we could just to find something out.
New homes solutions were not helpful and couldn’t provide us with any help. Despite having direct contact with the other solicitors.
There were so many people we had contact with, and one in particular was very rude. And refused to help:

Having never worked with a remote agent before, I was prepared for complications, but the process went far smoother than I imagined. We went from viewing to completion in just over 8 weeks, which is pretty impressive for a leasehold property. Good work to the team at New Home Solutions.
