Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 137 reviews, most reviewers found their experience to be average overall. Many customers appreciate the platform's ease of use and the flexibility to study at their own pace, making learning accessible alongside other commitments. People generally find the courses good, informative, and well-structured, with a wide selection and practical examples that enhance understanding. However, some people were dissatisfied with aspects of the subscription model, reporting issues with automatic renewals and difficulties canceling their accounts, leading to unexpected charges. A few other people also felt that some course content was basic, outdated, or lacked sufficient depth, suggesting that while the selection is broad, the quality can vary.

New Skills Academy feedback

I really liked the structure of the material, including videos, quizes, and summaries. I found it very informative and interesting.
(I just wish I had been able to subscribe for longer but life got busy and I was no longer able to access it as much as I'd wish, to justify continuing subscribing).

Short and long courses with NSA are…

Short and long courses with NSA are amazingly simple and fairly easy to follow, with short questions to check understanding. I like the presenters, in my account there are still 52 active courses, and I have completed 29. From holistic therapies, to understanding how to be an Estate Agent, to ADHD , and caring for the Elderly, there is so much to learn here.

The tutor was amazing

The tutor was amazing, patient, kind and encouraging. I'm dyslexic and she was skilled in how to make things easier for me to understand. I've been on 3 sewing machine courses with her and I highly recommend them.

I’d say my experience with New Skills Academy was just ok – nothing special. The courses I tried felt very basic and not particularly engaging, more like surface-level knowledge that most people would probably already know. It could be improved by offering more in-depth content, interactive elements, or real-world examples to make the learning more useful and interesting.
