Having previously lived in a student accommodation before, I can whole heartedly say that Nido Boyce House has taken the notorious view of a messy, lonely, cold experience living in halls completely out of the window. Firstly, the location is perfect for students studying at any of the three universities, with a literal three minute walk away from GCU, you couldn’t be any closer to the heart of Glasgow. When entering the foyer, there is music playing, coffee/tea making facilities available for when the weather is really cold outside (and you’re needing heated up) and a friendly member of staff sat at the desk asking if you’ve had a good day and making sure there are no problems, either with your room, or life in general! Furthermore, Nido Boyce House has multiple vending machines and even a Trust Cafe, so if you need a quick snack, you don’t feel obliged to have to leave the building. Lastly, the building has really made use of its large vicinity, including a cinema room, karaoke room (for those tipsy nights), fully functioning gym equipped with brand new equipment and a large study room with relaxing views, huge desk space and stationary / notepads available if need be. Having only lived at Boyce House for one month, I already feel totally settled in and that if I ever did have a problem, I would know exactly who to speak to and that it would get dealt with efficiently and so that it would work around my personal life and my busy schedule at university. It feels like a home away from home and I feel super lucky to have had the experience to stay somewhere, where the atmosphere is so chilled and positive, the staff are totally friendly and it really does feel like I belong :)

From the first moment I walked in I felt welcomed, well informed and well prepared for life at this accommodation. This is my third year in this building and I love it! It is clean (very important), friendly and there are events every month for us to meet new people and have new experiences. I have heard some horror stories from my friends who live in other accommodations around Cambridge and I feel so lucky that I can't relate to any of them! Atmosphere is great, my problems are sorted quickly and efficiently and I've had some really fantastic experiences in here! I will be very sad to leave to be honest!

Nido Haigh Court in Liverpool was great
A good location near the Universities and town. I genuinely enjoyed living here, its vibrant and convenient. Laura and Lee, the front of house, are lovely and talkative.

Nido Student Haymarket is by far my favourite place that I have stayed in in Edinburgh. It provides me with the most important aspect in my opinion as a student and that is comfort. The rooms are well designed and spacious. In addition, the building is situated such as to prevent any noise disturbances from the cars on the road and this results in a really good nights sleep!

The staff here is available 24h to aid you with any issues that you may have during your stay and the maintenance service here is really quick too usually fixing any problems within a day of the request!

Not to mention that there are several bus stops, including the route to the airport, within minutes from the residence and the city centre is only a 15 minute walk away.

Overall, my stay here has been a very pleasant experience and I would recommend it to all students that are looking for a place to stay.

This is my 3rd year in Nido and I cannot immagine my life in another accomodation. It is a nice environment with sociable and not noyse people. They just implemented it so it has many new areas such as the gym and the common room. They also organize cool events that help us knowing each other and feeling like a big family

I have been living abroad for some years now, and I have to say my experience with Nido Haymarket is the best one so far! Not only is it well-located (20 minutes to the city centre and 30 minutes to UoE), but the room satisfies all my needs and the service from the staff is excellent!! They are available 24h for anything you need, from managing your rent, to handling post and even giving you a hand if you lose your keys!

If you are looking for a place to live in this beautiful city or you really want to move to a high-quality and welcoming building, this is the perfect place for you!!

Nido Student Haymarket is a great place to live as a student in Edinburgh!
Everyone here is really friendly and ready to help when you need anything. The rooms and common areas are spacious, clean, and nicely furnished. The facilities (common room, gym, laundry, etc.) are nice extras and the building is secured with CCTV and a secure entry system.
There is a great sense of community thanks to all the social events that are set up (such as yoga classes, outreach programmes, parties, etc.).
Nido Haymarket is also really well located in the city, at walking distance from the city centre with many shops, restaurants, and public transport links close by. All universities in the area are easy to get to.
In short, if you're coming to study in Edinburgh, I would highly recommend checking out Nido Student Haymarket!

I have stayed at Nido for 3 years now. I cannot recommend it enough. It is in a central location which is near to Co-Op and Lidl - which makes going for a food shop incredibly easy. There is a well-connected bus stop, less than a minute walk away. The staff at Nido: Kevin and Seanade, do everything in their willpower to make everyone's stay as enjoyable as possible. They are both very welcoming and kind! The rooms are well decorated and comfortable. I have stayed in other private student accommodation and it doesn't compare to Nido.

I must include absolutely rubbish management, especially Gabriella they lie and the favour people they want to favour!!!

The wall are so thin that I can even hear the neighbor walking around! Every morning I have to wake up at 7:30 am due to the walls being so thin that I can hear my neighbor turning on their sink, cooking or blending something. Initially when I booked Nido I actually asked if the walls were thin and was told no. I often revise late and in my room but since I had someone move next to me in January I find it hard to revise or even get enough rest as I have to wake up whenever he wakes up due to all the banging, cooking and bleeding in the morning and evening. I’ve raised it once already but felt like i was completely ignored. It’s kind of exhausting not being able to have enough rest everyday cause of all the noise next door.
When I’m flushing the water in the toilet comes out and my floor always gets wet 🤢 I’ve raised that too only to be told by the guy there is nothing he can do about it. I found it soo difficult to go away for a weekend or so without passing on my key to a friend as i get someone’s else rubbish in my toilet and by the time i come back the toilet stinks really bad and all different things can be seen inside the toilet which is obviously disgusting.

I’m so happy that I chose to stay at Nido St James last year for my studies in Glasgow! The accommodation is just one minute away of the university of Strathclyde and 5 minutes from city centre! The staff were always friendly and helpful when I needed them. I will miss the beautiful view of my window and my room since I liked the modern design of it. Plus the accommodation offers plenty of study spaces that you can use!

I had a quite overall pleasent experience for roughly a year at Nido student accommodation on St. James Road Glasgow. As I am a postgraduate student, I spent most of my time working on my assignments and my dissertation. Luckily, this accommodation provided plenty of study area. Unoverlookably, the staff are really friendly. They were always there to assist students. Minor drawbacks are that firstly, it is way too easy for outsiders to enter the accommodation, especially when some flats became hostel rooms. Secondly, wi-fi turned down from time to time. Thirdly, students, working as part-time receptionists, missed out some information when I first arrived at the accommodation. Other than that, this accommodation provided great experiences with favourable facilities.

Excellent accommodation that I recommend to anyone studying in London. I lived at Nido West Hampstead for five years and I am moving out because I graduated. The flats are brand new and definitely way exceed the standards in the private rental sector by a great margin. Having looked at the London private sector, I believe that they are truly under-priced. Nido has excellent and comfortable study areas both in the common area and the flats. West Hampstead is also one of best neighbourhoods in London. It is very lively, safe, convenient, and surrounded by series of restaurants, shops, cafes and supermarkets. It has also excellent public transport connections both to central/outside of London, and airports. The staff is extremely helpful, responsive, friendly, kind, welcoming, and professional. I would in particular like to thank Becky, Abi, Denise, Kevin and Emilee for their hospitality throughout my stay. Nido also provides daily cleaning and 24-hour security in the building. The maintenance issues are dealt with extremely quickly, and the management takes care of everything for you. I never had any issues on any front for five years.

The location is very convenient; great public transport connection, supermarket, 7-10 mintues walk to the city centre. The accommodation is fair, the kitchen is suitable up to 4 people, common room is OK but not something special, the GYM is quite small. The staff is friendly in general terms, however I would like to thank especially Seanade Mitchell in the front house who is extremely helpful, kind and professional.

I spent a year in Nido West Hampstead and I was very disappointed. The price is very high for the quality the of accomodation. The kitchens were very dirty and very bad washed by the maid (who are paid to wash the common areas).
And when it's too dirty, they send you emails saying you'll have to pay even more! I had hot water problems more than 5 times in the year!!
I do not recommend this accomodation at all, you can find much better in London. It's a waste of money ..

The location, the decor and the overall experience was great. It was very comfortable, and any queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Although I lived in a studio, there were so many opportunities to mingle and I got one with everyone.

I'd also like to thank Donna for her kindness and for providing a free breakfast buffet every month. She has definitely contributed to the atmosphere of the whole place by being so welcoming and providing so many chances to bring everyone together.

WIFI was down so much due to “maintenance” or unknown issues.

Flat mates were of similar nature to a certain animal most commonly found on farmlands. This is due to both the animals cleanliness, and my flat mates tendencies for leaving waste at their feet. I cannot name the farmyard animal in question because Nido didn’t like my review.

Fire alarms went off far too much in the initial month

I even got shafted with my deposit because someone on their end had not handled payments correctly.

I loved staying at Nido West Hampstead! It was the perfect location and home for my time in London.

At first I really didn’t know where to stay in such a huge city and to be honest my information from Colombia was limited to searching on the web and speaking with friends who have lived there. So I did, some of my friends recommended me Nido brand and it wasn’t a mistake.

It had the perfect location, just a few minutes walking from different ways of transportation such as underground, overground and train stations.

The Nido team was always very kind and welcoming. There was almost always someone in the front desk, and it’s amazing just having everything done for you! In terms of not having to worry about bills for services, installing internet , safety and so on.

The flats were very well distributed, including the perfect comforts and it was a very nice place actually to meet new people, interact with different cultures and create relationships that for sure will last for way more time than your stay at Nido. It was exactly the same for the installations and common areas , such as the gym, cinema, laundry, deck, terrace and “games” area. They even do activities every once in a while where you can easily participate, such as the well being week or art and yoga classes.

If you’re considering a student residence for your stay, amongst all your options I would highly recommend Nido.

I loved everything about staying in Heritage Court. I stayed in number 64 which was a beautiful three story town house with very good size bedrooms & ensuite shower room. When I first went to view Heritage I knew no one who was residing there and when the house manager showed me around, he took the time to find out what I’m looking for in an accommodation and what sort of people I would like to be living with. On moving into heritage, he had made sure that I was put in a house with 6 other girls like I requested and one of them was even in my year on my course! I honestly could not recommend this place enough. The accommodation is modern, affordable and really friendly. I had so many good memories made here!

Nothing to say but good things about Nido St James in Glasgow. From the welcoming front of house to the maintenance crew and house keepers, all of them have provided the best of services one could ask for. Happy to say i chose this place and would recommend it to others without a moment of hesitation.

Looking forward to seeing whats next for the team running this great student accommodation.
