Can't be arsed to write a review. . Terrible website?
I had a very disappointing experience with Nina Estate Agents and feel it’s important to share my experience to help others make informed decisions.
After my offer on a property was accepted, I was later told the seller had pulled out and decided to return to a previous buyer. I later learned that the seller had been told by the agent that my chain would take approximately six months — a claim that was simply not accurate. My chain was well advanced at the time. The previous buyer may have been further along in some respects, but they had just secured a new buyer for their own sale, meaning the process would essentially be starting over.
This incorrect information appears to have directly influenced the seller’s decision to withdraw from our agreement. As a result, I incurred legal fees, we lost our own sale, and the entire situation has had a serious negative impact on my mental health and wellbeing. The stress and upset caused by this experience have been significant and completely avoidable had the facts been fairly represented.
When I raised my concerns with the agency, they denied making the statement about the six-month chain, even though the seller had relayed it directly to me. I have since filed a formal complaint with The Property Ombudsman and am pursuing recovery of my legal costs through the appropriate channels.
I’m leaving this review because I genuinely don’t want anyone else to go through the same experience. Buying or selling a home is stressful enough — buyers and sellers deserve accurate information and fair treatment from their estate agent. In my view, that did not happen here.
