My wife is a social worker, attempting to get an N.I number for one of her kids, which is apparently free to access.
This company has managed to get the #1 spot on Google search and charged her £25 for the privilege!
Suffice to say it will be reported to the relevant authorities.
Please avoid as it's a loophole/scam or whatever.
If I get a reply to this review it's best avoided too, they probably aren't legit but definitely immoral.
Update:
Have been asked for details but none given, email address wasn't used, no reference number given etc, all conducted over the phone.
They will no doubt ask Trustpilot to suspend my review, but it's now getting passed on to head of children's services.

Nino website will not reply within 2hrs, they may send you a form, but this form you can get from .gov.uk for free. DO NOT USE the Nino website. Follow the UK government links.

If I could give this site no stars I would. I placed an order 7334 over the phone and 20 mins later I called back saying I wished to cancel my order. They then sent me a form to issue me a refund and they’ve only issued me half the amount I paid (£30, instead of £60) for absolutely no reason at all!!! I know my legal rights and that is absolutely illegal but I know that some people will let it slide. I cancelled in the first place as I questioned the legitimacy of this site and whether they would truly be “faster” than through the government and now my doubts have been confirmed.

We are sorry that you feel you have been mislead. We can confirm that we are a legitimate company, who is registered with companies house.
It is stated on our website and in our Terms of Service that we will charge an administration fee for any works contracted to ourselves. It is also mentioned that we are an independent service provider with no direct affiliation with the Job Centre, the Government or any Governing Bodies.
In relation to the processing of your application, our system does a number of pre application checks before the information is passed to an account manager. These include checking your eligibility for your requested documents and checking for any errors that may have been missed during your application.

Definitely a scam. Avoid at all costs.
Received an order confirmation, then an auto-generated email 10mins later that says "We have started processing your application". This was at 11:30pm, VERY unlikely. They then try and use this email to say that I am not eligible for a refund, despite the fact that I emailed them at 11:40pm asking to cancel the services because I saw the government wasn't even taking any NI appointments during COVID. 3 months later, still trying to get my refund OR my NI application.

I will give 0 if it’s possible. It’s totally a scam. They don’t let you know that you can’t apply for national insurance number because if coronavirus19. Just get your money, and don’t do anything. And when you realised and asked them for refund, they will send you an email and said: ‘We can accept your cancellation of services request; however, we regret to inform you that you are not eligible for a refund as we begun processing or processed & completed an online service to you which we charge a fee for’. No way they can begin the process of application when official job centre is still closing!!!!!!

Shame I cannot give 0 Stars. Theives and liars, advertise a very quick service and only tell you after you have paid, there will be unlimited undefined delays due to coronavirus. Total false advertising! being reported to trading standards as they have refused to refund saying they started the process?? They processed nothing, how could they as according to them they cannot because of covid and relevant government departments being closed. Got further in a day by contacting government department direct a few weeks ago when re-opened yet still today they have done nothing! Scandalous and will be taking legal action

We have been taking application for all and booking appointments for none EU citizens, this is following the governments guidelines as they have a slightly different process.
The government offices are open for calls, however the Job centers in which conduct National insurance interviews are still currently closed, therefore there is a delay.

This is a scam. They don't inform that they are unable to process due to coronavirus. Once you make a payment they sent that its not possible to arrange appointment. When you want to get refund they say its not possible. Only way to get money back is charge back from your bank.

I was misguided into thinking this was an official UK site
I was misguided into thinking this was a UK GOvt website and paid their 60 pounds fee for a FREE SERVICE.
Then the very next day i sent an e-mail asking for a cancel and refund and i got a response from them saying that they would refund me in 15 working days. That refund never happened and then i got an email form them saying that my service was underway. When i said i had already cancelled this, and was waiting for my refund i got an email telling me that, because a ERROR IN THEIR OWN SYSTEM, my refund could not be accepted because they had already start the service that i cancceled THE VERY NEXT DAY OF BUYING, and that was 20 days agoand NOW they say that i cant be refunded because they messed up and cant refund a service already started.
It`s a very shady company, doing a service while not being very clear they are charging for a free public service and they outright refuse to give any decent customer service. Oh, and they CANT do the service now because the Government is not issuing NI for EU citizen, so I dont quite understand WHAT they claim to be processing.
This was the email confirming my cancelation and refund, from 07/07/2020. Still no refund by the way:

To be Honest we thought tis was a Proper Government supported Site but it appear to just take GBP 60 and do Nothing to help get your National Insurance No. Their Customer Service does Not Respond and Now we have to go to the Bank to Cancel Payment.

UPDATE: Despite numerous attempts to make contact with these scammers since writing the review below on 22nd July, still no NINO, still no response. Avoid these rip-off scammers.
WARNING: NINOAPPLY.COM ARE SCAM MERCHANTS!
Stupidly, I was taken in by their advert and phoned them believing it was the best / quickest option to get a NINO. Was promised a "Fast Track" service for £60 plus an optional extra charge for a plastic NI card. Was promised an interview date in "two weeks or thereabouts". One month later, no news, no updates, no interview date and absolutely no evidence that an application has even been made. No contact details to find out what is going on. They do not respond to email requests for information.
These people are, at best, liars, they tell you whatever you want to hear until they have your money and then you will never hear from them again. I've given up with them, they lied and scammed me out of £60 and did absolutely NOTHING. I just checked on the GOV.UK website, it states there quite clearly that there is no "Fast Track" service to getting a NINO ... NINOAPPLY.com are liars and cheats, they take money for services they CANNOT supply and are not authorised to supply.

Absolute scam. I asked for my money back immediately after I bought this and they agreed. I waited 2 weeks and only got half the money back, they said they had to pay for administration free eventho I mailed them IMMEDIATELY and got a message within 1 hour. They even said they didnt start anything yet. Also they falsely advertise, they say that you can still get your NI during this pandemic but aslong as the official FREE NI service is closed so is this one.
