Apparently an "emergency" company but when asked if they could come out in an event of an emergency was told they wouldn't come out this late and next available date was next week

Called about a broken shower and someone came out within a few hours.
Replaced the shower at the same visit.
Friendly service

I recently have had a soak away disaster within weeks of moving into my new house. I didn’t know who to call so I called No1phd from an online search. Im always a little worried at calling people I don’t know but I needn’t have worried. An engineer came the next day, had a look and explained what needed doing. I was horrified initially. Anyway their senior engineer came and begun the works. I was so stressed about the whole thing but everything was explained to me whilst the work continued. They have done a great job and I still have peace of mind with the lifetime guarantee. Their customer service was amazing and so helpful. Thank you! I would definitely use them again.

I was pleased with the service I received. When the first treatment did not solve my particular problem I had a second visit to look at what had been done and suggestions made as to what further work was needed. I was most impressed by Mitch who listened, checked the situation thoroughly and really thought through all options. He then discussed these with me. I was also most impressed by Gent who came to carry out the recommended work. He was professional and concerned at all stages to ensure the work was done correctly and the solution suggested really did address the particular problem

The drain operative arrived on time to clear the drains. He explained exactly what he was going to do and why which was helpful. He also gave an explanation if asked anything regarding the drain and what properties they were probably connected too. He was a tidy worker and completely cleaned the areas after the work was completed. A professional job well done would recommend their services.

I had a problem with my downstairs toilet and when PHD answered my call I was treated with respect and courtesy to help with my problem. The engineer arrived and dealt with the blockage and kept me up to date with the solutions. A most pleasant experience from a customer who values good customer service which is sadly lacking elsewhere. Highly recommended.

Engineers were prompt and on time to my call about a blocked drain. Said the drainage pipes needed to be replaced as old and made of fibre. After explaining what needed to be done, the job was done two days later.

He phoned to say when he will be arriving.
He got the job done quickly and cleanly.

I phoned at 13:00 to request attention to a blocked drain. The technician arrived at 15:00 and used 3 different pieces of equipment (to maximise the charge) in a failed attempt to clear the blockage. He advised me that the drain had collapsed and they could fix it for £2,500. It would be a days work. I said no and was charged £425.76 for the hour and a quarter he was with me. My son then came round and cleared the blockage in 20 minutes using rods. This company was clearly trying to get me to (overpay) for unnecessary work.
This company has conned me out of the £400+
Steer clear of them .

UPDATE......

The following day the company's customer service manager (Lucy) phoned me with profuse apologies and a full refund of the £425.76. I could not expect more as a way of making amends for the previous days unfortunate experience.

Engineers were punctual and efficient in sorting out two blocked/partially blocked toilets. Camera images of gully and toilet plumbing reassured me that the work carried out was necessary/complete.

We called out No1 PHD for an inspection of our septic tank and drains. They were extremely helpful, on time and the follow up calls and report were exemplary. We would absolutely use them again if needed.

Work carried out efficiently and to plan provided to us. Friendly, helpful staff.

We were listened to, had prompt service both on 'phone and with operators. Work carried out efficiently by friendly workers who got on with the job and cleared up after the work done. It was interesting to see into the pipework on the camera and didn't envy them having to grovel about on the ground and in the muck.

Came within an hour of our call re. a broken boiler. Got it working as a temporary fix and returned and fitted a new one a few days later. Very thorough and pleasant. Pleased with the work.

Didn't arrive for 1st appointment, waited in all day. Prompt the following day, however then disappeared for an hour to buy parts, despite knowing what the job was going to be. Came back an hour later. Satisfactory job and work but unhappy to be charged for 2 hours work when the first hour was spent elsewhere.

I was very apprehensive at firth but the engineer put me at ease and explained very clearly what was wrong with my outside drain. Explaining my options and I was surprised when he said it could be done the next day leaving me with a working drain. Next day two persons turned up an they did a good job leaving everything tidy. Well done No!PHD.
