We had a new boiler fitted by no1PHD. Damian the plumber & his son Tyreese absolutely fantastic plumbers. Fitted new boiler, cleaned up all the rubbish which they took with them and not one drop of water on the floor. Boiler working like a dream. I would definitely recommend them and insist I want Damien and his son again if we have any other problems with our heating system in the future. Damien and Tyreese are both very pleasant as well.

Got on with the job promptly with no fuss. Done in appalling weather conditions.
Thank you very much.

I called the company yesterday and got the plumber in today. He even contacted me last night to get more information about my problem which was great though I have explained everything to the receptionist. He turned up in time as he said, he was lovely, nice and polite.
Unfortunately problems started when he started doing the job. Every step he did took him three-four times longer to do than it should. I wouldnt probably complain if I didnt have the same job done a few years back. Just to do an initial test to check the power from the mains to the thermostat and the element together with disconnecting one main lead took him 35 mins. That's before he started draining the water off the cylinder. It should not take longer than 10 min because I have seeing the other plumbers to do this. I had to ask a few times during his visit if everything was ok as there were periods of a lengthy silence. That is not to mention that there were telephone conversations not related to my job while my time was ticking.
There was another mess up: while draining the water off, he didnt turn off the right stopcock and the water kept filling in the cylinder. Again after 40 min I got concerned why it takes so long to drain the water out of 120 l cylinder, only then he confirmed that the water was coming into the cylinder - you could hear it. So why did it take 40 min for a professional to realise that there is a problem and may be there is another stopcock (which there was and I have mentioned this from the start). Ok, mess ups can happen. He said he will take off 30 min when charging - he took off only 20 min. So he charged me for 3 hours for the job which was done before for just over one hour. And even with his trip to the local Srewfix to get new element it should not be more than 1.5-2 hrs as absolute maximum especially that there were no complications.
So, just to say that I was unhappy is to say nothing. I felt that it is a total rip off. It is so shame, because the plumber actually was a nice guy. Whether he is unexperienced or just took his time because he is charging per half an hour - no one should pay for this.
I have contacted customer services and Judy patiently listened to me and promised to investigate everything. She got back to me same day with reasonably reduced hours and new bill. Thank you, Judy. I appreciate that this is a big company covering different areas and different jobs employing many people however their customer services works well.

Didn't turn up to the agreed appointment on Thursday morning due to delay, but didn't bother to call to let me know. Rearranged for Saturday which was another no show. Control centre said engineer rang on Friday to re-arrange but my phone didn't have voicemail (which it does). I would have thought for a company charging premium prices, they would do a bit more to earn their money, but there was no attempt to re-call me later or send a text. There's no excuse for that in this day and age.

Really appalling service. Agreed to come out to repair boiler and let me down 4 times over a period of 1 week with engineer (Damien) cancelling each time. Rude telephone staff especially Lucy/Lisa who couldn’t care less that a pensioner was without heating or hot water for such a long time over Christmas.

I was given CCTV survey of my drain which was of very poor quality (just video of screen of some device) -
I was quoted 5034 (including VAT) for the repairs - but then this other company did the repairs for 1200 (including VAT) and all issues I had are sorted.
In short, poor CCTV survey (useless to other companies to give a quote) and 4 times inflate quote for repairs -

The plumber came early in the day, and fixed the problem very quickly. We had a blocked loo.

Call-out booked on a Friday and plumber came the following Wednesday, then returned the following Sunday to finish the job! All now working well and no issues getting replacement parts 👍

I phoned and within 2 hours we had Joe the operative with us. He was very pleasant and efficient and cleared the blocked drain from house to sewer. He used a CCT camera to show the condition. He suggested to improve flow, the pipes should be relined. The only reason for 4 star is because of the very expensive quote for relining of £2995 plus VAT. We are pensioners so will not be having this work done. If we did we would get more quotes.
A week before the main sewer was blocked and Seven Trent Water came out and cleared that, Unfortunately we did not get them to check the drain from house to sewer, although technically that does not belong to them.
Just a note to others who do not know. If it is a main sewer blockage the local Water Company will clear it for free although you might have to wait a few days. Always worth calling them.
