I had a X32i treadmill, purchased from NordicTrack for around $5,500, a few years back. I will skip issues with it from when it was set-up until this last January. In January 2026 while running on it, the frame broke in half. Luck I was not injury. I called IFit and they decided to replace the treadmill with the X24 model, a reduced value of $2,000. They outsourced the delivery and setup to Ryder. The two workers delivering the unit were upset and struggled with taking the old treadmill out and setting up the new one due to the sheer weight of each machine, early February. They noticed the belt on the new treadmill was gouged and there were bolts and washers missing. They also broke a leg on the new machine when carrying it downstairs. All was recorded on the delivery sheet. I also contacted iFit that same day to report. After an hour wait, an agent completed a parts order (no charge) for replacement parts and a service order for a technician to install. The parts were received on February 19, I waited a week for a technician to contact me to set up a dated to install the parts. After a week, I contacted iFit again, after another 75 minutes of wait time and an agent researching the issue, I was told a technician would contact me within 24-48 hours to schedule. The call never came in, I waited 3 business days then contacted iFit again. After another hour on the phone between waiting and working with an agent I was told the same thing again. Another 3 business days went by and I called again. On the phone another 60+ minutes to be told the same again, this time they provided me with the subcontractor phone number for me to call directly. I called them the same day , subcontractor, and they took down the information and told me a technician (they farm the work out to) would call me. Days when by with no call. After calling the subcontractor again, all they told me is they don’t schedule the work, if I had issues to call IFit. I called IFit again, and another hour plus of wait time and an agent researching was told again I would get a call within 24-48 hours. I received a survey for IFit regarding my experience and complete it, then reviewed an email from a IFit agent who told me the same thing I would get a call within 24-48 hours. This has gone on repeated since February 19 to today March 23rd. In total I have made over 7 calls into IFit and as of today, March 23rd, I an still waiting for a call to schedule the work. Due to this issue, and prior experiences similar in the past, anyone considering purchasing a product from IFit/NordicTrack to reconsider and go with another company. I have had multiple experiences similar to this one with IFit/NordicTrack going back 6 years. The products are poorly designed, resulting in major breakdowns and their customer support is terrible. If their CEO experience what I have and believe it is acceptable then run as fast as you can in the other direction.

Today, March 24 I called IFit again regarding scheduling the work, I was told after another hour on the phone that it was scheduled for April 4th, another 11 days out. No one ever contacted me regarding this date, it is the Saturday before Easter Sunday. I again asked to be contacted to schedule an agreeable day. Was told I would be contacted yet this day. No call. BIG SURPRISE.
Did received a email from iFit last Tuesday, March 24th as follows:
My goal is to make sure your machine is back in perfect working order, and I am committed to seeing this through until you are completely satisfied. Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any questions before or after your appointment.
Thank you,
iFIT

I replied back twice to this email asking her to call me on Wednesday, March 25th to discuss. Absolutely no response as expected. Really wish their CEO could experience their own poor customer experience and quality products.
The reply by NordicTrack/iFit below is typical. You can see it in the pattern of replies in each of the issues. They continue to apologize but do nothing to improve or assist. I will ever recommend their products to my running community, nor purchase another product from them myself. Customers are of no concern for them, unless they are taking your money.
Saturday, April 4th came. Service Technician texted he could not make appointment and would need to reschedule. Haven’t heard since. Emailed iFit who is supposedly monitoring the resolution to inform them that same day. As of Tuesday morning, April 7th, no response.

Tanner was very professional, and pleasant explaining and setting up my Nordic Track. I would definitely recommend him!

Booth was excellent in helping us purchase a new Airglide 16 Elliptical. He provided clear information about the elliptical features, pricing, and payment options. We have enjoyed using Nordictrack equipment for over 40 years with reliable quality and customer service. Charlie is the latest example of the outstanding staff Nordictrack provides to consumers. We are very excited to start using our new elliptical as part of our exercise program . Thanks again for being such a quality company with excellent personnel .
I bought a $2,000 treadmill (T 8.5 S) back in April 2024, and while the machine itself is decent quality, the company’s business model is incredibly frustrating. This was a massive purchase for me, and I was so excited to get it set up, but the experience has been a huge letdown.
The biggest issue is the paywall. This company expects you to drop a couple thousand dollars on a piece of equipment and then hit you with a mandatory $40/month iFIT subscription just to use the basic features of the screen. If you don't pay that $500-a-year "membership," you are locked out of almost everything, except the basic obvious features of speed and incline. You can't even set up your own custom interval workouts or use the streaming apps they recently added. It feels wrong to spend that much on a product only to have the hardware held hostage by a subscription.
I also found their transparency to be pretty poor. I tried to leave a review on their official website a week after my purchase, but the model was already delisted and there was no clear way to provide feedback. It feels like once they have your money, they aren't interested in what you have to say.
Even the design shows a lack of thought for the user, for example, the fan on my model isn't adjustable, so at my height, it’s completely useless. For a premium brand, you’d expect better ergonomics and at least some basic "smart" features included for free.
I honestly regret this purchase. If I had known how limited the "out-of-the-box" experience would be, I would have taken my business to a different brand. I definitely wouldn't recommend spending your hard-earned money with a company that forces such an expensive monthly fee just to make their equipment functional.

Love my NordicTrack! Haven't had any concerns in the 18 months I've had. I appreciate customer service reaching out to make sure everything is good! iFit has been a game changer for my running adventures. Love the trainers I've chosen to get me back up to speed.
The software is completely buggy and not reliable. Routinely I have to turn the machine off and on to use it two days in a row. Many times I’ve had the belt stop moving and not because it’s overheated but because something is wrong with the software.

I I had purchased an elliptical from ProForm many years ago and didn’t even remember the exact purchase date or any details anymore. Recently, the frame of the machine broke, so I reached out to customer support.
The service representative was extremely helpful and was able to locate all the information related to my purchase even though I had very little detail to provide. They guided me through the process, explained what information was needed, and made everything very simple.
After I submitted the required details, the company replaced the machine with a brand new one. The entire experience was smooth and hassle-free. I’m very impressed with the level of customer service and support, especially considering how old the original purchase was.
Overall, it was a great experience and I truly appreciate the way the situation was handled.
I had a problem with a treadmill purchased and despitnsome poor treatment from the customer services team the issue ended up with the sales team. Becky was incredibly understanding and helpful and quickly dealt with the issue for me. Thank you.

Will helped me out with several things when I called with intent to purchase. He helped me decide on the product, membership, and shipping. He talked me through comparisons and pros and cons for each category.
I ended up getting the 2450. Will and I both decided after talking that the X24 wasn't necessary and the 1750 might leave some to be desired. In regards to the "cry once" strategy, we worked together to identify the 2450 as the right product for me.
I made my purchase with cash so I can't leave a review regarding their financing.
Will also helping me out with shipping & assembly. We talked and the deck, arm rails and monitor assembly are all single solid pieces. He re-assured me that the assembly is pretty straight forward if you're a beginner- advanced with tools, you shouldn't have a problem with assembly. I decided to save some money and get standard shipping and will have family help me take it downstairs.
Lastly, the membership. Will was great in this area too because even though I expressed I mostly listen to podcasts or study while I walk or run, with a 30-day back money guarantee, there really isn't a reason to try it. We discussed how I'm currently working on my basement, there is not much room to workout right now and my fiancé' is pregnant. I mentioned that I highly likely I wouldn't be using that membership in the first 30 days of ownership and he recommended "freezing" the membership. He said the membership can be frozen for 90 days at a time and to call back if we need it frozen again if we know we won't be using it. Additionally, Will helped me save money by telling me to NOT CREATE MY PASSWORD & ACCOUNT for ifit because that's when the 30-days starts. He told me don't do that until I'm ready to try it out.
So due to this knowledge and helpfulness of Will, being willing to walk me through product comparisons, membership questions for ifit and shipping questions. I feel like I've made a solid purchase with no buyers remorse.
To be fair, I haven't received the product yet but I am confident in the reviews and videos I've seen that the product should be fine.
We would have liked movable arms on the bike as well as higher sides to help better with stabilization (your arms at the side help, but I added a flat bungy cord to help us with more stability.) Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
Working to renew my iFIT membership was easy!
Purchasing a new piece of equipment was more challenging. I received MULTIPLE emails of the same email saying my equipment was ready and we would be receiving a call to schedule a delivery within 24-48 hours. This never happened. A few days I received again, MULTIPLE emails of the same email saying the same thing. This time I called and was taken to a voicemail and never heard anything. We finally have a delivery date for next week. The communication on delivery has definitely been poor.

I've had the treadmill for 5 years, used about 4 times a week, split between manual and custom workouts. Overall reasonably satisfied.
Likes:
- Decline (negative incline) feature.
- IFit Google maps custom workout creation (make neighborhood routes, etc).
- Graphics much nicer with latest software update.
- Ruggedness of the machine.
Dislikes:
- WIFI is not good. I have a Netgear 5G router within 10 ft of the treadmill, line of sight and almost every run (using custom route with IFIT Google maps) the street view pictures will freeze for up to 20 minutes while the time, speed and elevation continue. Once the treadmill stopped the workout while I was running - not good!
- IFit no longer allows you to create a custom workout using google maps.
Update - an update to the treadmill around the middle of May has made the custom workout SO much better. I have not experienced a street view map hangup in probably 30+ workouts. Now if only IFit would bring back the google map workout creation capability!

The NordicTrack customer service representatives far exceeded any expectations I might have had when I called for help when my treadmill stopped working. I was sure it was out of warranty. I was just looking for help on how to reset, update or otherwise jumpstart my machine. They were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and patient well beyond my expectations!! I never, not for a moment, expected to be offered a new replacement treadmill. All of the steps and information needed to secure the replacement were very well explained, and when delivery of the replacement needed to be delayed due to me having a health issue, they showed genuine concern and compassion! They made me feel like a real person, and not just another customer! I simply couldn’t ask for better customer service!
Shelly, was swift and crisp on resolving our problem whit our equipment and getting us a new equipment rapidly. I have never gotten service like I did with Shelly. Just amazing!

Great experience! Assembly takes at least 2 people to build and can be done in a few hrs. IFIT is a great addition and really enhances the experience, not sure if I’d recommend it as a standalone for those who don’t want the iFIT subscription plan
Part of the basic frame broke when the treadmill was less than 2 years old. After 3 months I still have not gotten a replacement part, nor do I know when I will get it.
Regarding Nordic Track reply, can you please quantify "soon"? I have been waiting 3 months. And yes, I have spent many hours on the phone with your Customer Support. They also tell me the part is coming soon, but can not quantify when. After lengthy discussions with them it is clear they in fact have no idea when I will get my part. Parts arrive at NordicTrack every month and are provided to the first customer that requested the part. So we are in a queue, which is sensible. However Customer Support claims not to have access to the information relating to where a given customer is in the queue. All they can do is apologize and offer that the part should come "soon", just as you are doing now.
Given this, I do not believe my experience is uncommon, as you claim. Your Customer/Product Support system is dysfunctional.

I have three NordicTrack machines and love them all. The treadmill is great and I love the integration with iFit. Was a bit squeaky until we got out properly lubricated. Zero complaints.
Nothing short of being efficient, prompt, respectful and kind.
It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Shelly.
The product resolution specialist I worked with was polite, knowledgeable and always quick to respond. My expectations were certainly exceeded with how above and beyond the service was. They worked to make sure I got the product I wanted, it was shipped extremely fast, and they handled all the product registration for me as well.

Adjustable iSelect dumbbells are faulty and the weights came loose and almost fell on me as I was working out. These dumbbells have been recalled by NordicTrack themselves, however, they require me to ship them their faulty handles back. Not only that - I am left to dispose of 100lbs of weight. This costs me more time and money on top of the money I spent on this horrendous product. Cherry on top - it takes up 90 days to get a refund AFTER they received the handles. Bad business, do not recommend.
