Absolutely pointless and expensive
Absolutely pointless service. Couldn’t tell if we were siblings having done their sibling test. A complete waste of money and time. Telling me about legislation and expectations is something that should be properly emphasised at the start not following a trust pilot review. If your sibling test can’t tell if two people are siblings, it’s not a sibling test. There are alternative providers that offer more accuracy because their tests are better.

Thank you for your review. As is the nature of all sibling DNA testing, a conclusive result is not always 100% guaranteed. To ensure the accuracy of our results, NorthGene™, and all other accredited laboratories, must abide by their UKAS 17025 accredited thresholds. We do offer extended marker testing and other options which increase the likelihood of being able to achieve a conclusive result.

Poor service
Kits stated 1-3 days, this was delayed waiting for a week. One had been sent but the other took longer. All in all 14 days for an outcome. For a very sensitive situation this failed. I would not go with this company and save yourself stress. I question the reliability.
