Amazing products and amazing service. Had never used this website before and was a bit unsure about spending nearly €300 until I read the reviews. Bought Smeg Kettle & Toaster in white and they are perfect. Delivery came in 2 days as well! Highly recommend.

northxsouth failed to provide all the details required to deliver the purchase on time. If the questions are asked of the customer to provide contact details etc then this should always be forwarded to the delivery company otherwise in many parts of Ireland you cannot trust companies like DPD to get it right

The subsequent reply by northxsouth is factually incorrect - DPD had no phone details although these had been provided by me at the time of purchase. This was confirmed by DPD today who forwarded a copy of their system information. Nevertheless, this does not admonish DPD for a poor service when neither phone number or Eircode are essential as I have received packages through other deliver companies without these details.

Sadly, went from bad to worse - more to follow

After an investigation by DPD it has been established that none of the drivers who attempted to make a delivery had my contact number or Eircode. This was confirmed by the driver, package labelling, the consignment file and the dispatcher. This was pointed out to Mr Kilpatrick after he published his response and an email he received asked him to retract his assertion that I had not answered my phone or returned any calls - no calls were received therefore this allegation is preposterous. His suggestion I install a landline is insulting.

The absence of this information clearly lies in a fault in his own IT system which failed to transfer all my details to DPD resulting in a 9 day delay in the delivery of my purchase. His claim that when I contacted his company to confirm if the information had been provided was too little, too late - I had already sorted the problem with DPD.

Email correspondence with Mr Kilpatrick set out all the above information in detail and his response has been dismissive - apparently he has a company to run. Most people would think a business of this type would consider the views of it's customers to be paramount - apparently not.

Mr Kilpatrick was asked to apologise for his inaccurate remarks and to delete them from his response. This he has failed to do.

He wished me luck which was kind - I wish him more luck as Brexit is coming and northxsouth will be one or other but not both!
