Quality food that’s good value for money
I’m a casual customer of Nourish’d, typically ordering a box when I’ve got a busy period at work and I want to make sure that when it’s too hectic to grab lunch I have something nutritious ready to do.
I love the variety of meals, the transparency of ingredients and the fact that there’s no nasties, and I how I feel after eating their meals. I like cooking, but on those busy days where I need Nourish’d I have confidence that I’ll be eating something that tastes homemade but without the cooking and clean up. I like that they deliver fresh, but I usually order a bigger box so that I can pop a couple in the freezer for emergencies, plus I then get free delivery.
On busy days where I’ve run out of Nourish’d I’ve tried buying lunch in the city, but to be honest the food is full of salt, gluten, sugar, preservatives or is just an overpriced bowl of lettuce - I’ve learnt it has to be Nourish’d every time!

I love the meals from Nourish’d
I love the meals from Nourish’d. It’s so easy to order meals catering to our dietary requirements and it’s great value for money. I’m so busy and having Nourish’d meals takes away the stress of meal planning and worrying about getting good nutrition into my week. I highly recommend trying the Nourish’d meals, my current favourite is the chicken pesto penne. Delicious!

Worst customer service I have ever…
Worst customer service I have ever encountered. Meals aren’t good enough to make me stay when there are SO many other options available!!!! My box was just … not delivered one week.. and I was only offered a $30 dollar credit? No one tried to help me and problem solve.. I tried to do that for them???? Insanity. In this back and fourth with quite literally the stupidest customer service staff ever I was told “Reliability is essential when it comes to meal delivery, and if we’re not meeting your expectations, we completely understand if we’re not the right fit for you. You can cancel your subscription anytime by following the steps here: Cancel Subscription”. They literally admitted that they were unreliable and I should just cancel. So I did. They don’t care about their customers or customer retention. They’re not worth it.

Long term ex customer
I’ve been a customer since 2021. The meals are ok if you avoid the cheap meat options like pulled pork, which is mostly fat, and chicken which is dry. Too regularly there seems to be issues - missing cooling gel packs despite ordering and paying for extra, losing my order, or meals being delivered at unsafe temperatures and going off. This weeks’ order was missing a gel pack and one of the meals swelled up, even though I was home for delivery and put it all straight in the fridge. I’ve given up complaining to customer service, who are hard to contact and often based overseas. This week I see they’ve added a new extra insurance cost, so obviously I’m not the only one having problems with safe delivery. I’m not paying extra insurance for a service they should be providing. The meals aren’t good enough quality to make it worthwhile continuing, so I’m taking my business elsewhere.
Edit : I appreciate the detailed reply, but just wanted to let you know it wasn’t the usual meals swelling up, it was a normal chicken meal. Unfortunately the meat in the meals of my new supplier is still more generous and better quality. Appreciate you taking my comments on board though and notice the new 5 star reviews. Wishing you well. Thanks again.

I was so excited to try this company
I was so excited to try this company. I love the convenience of ready meals but want them with no gluten or bad ingredients.
I have given this company a go twice now, both times I’ve been disappointed.
Firstly the small meals are tiny, that was fine with me but if you have a normal appetite you’ll eat two of these.
It is very hit and miss how much protein is in them which is every disappointing. Some meals had hardly any meat in so no way was I able to hid my protein targets relying on these.
They taste ok. Some are but a bit stodgy and gone in a few mouthfuls if you purchase the small meals size. Id not buy again because of the tiny amount of meat in most dishes which does not match their food labels.
The biggest problem is their processes. First order I had to wait 11 days for it due to their limited cut off times.
The second order came and then a third the week later that I did not even order with a random selection of meals that I would never have chosen.
On contacting them I was told I had subscribed automatically ordering weekly!? I did no such thing. Nor did I get any email confirmation any subscriptions nor an email detailing these meals that were ordered on my behalf! They could not show me any evidence or confirmation emails at all. It’s like you just get an order out of the blue. It feels sneaky and very dishonest.
So I’m left with soups and vegetarian meals I would never order and will give away. No refund or anything offered!
I still do not believe I agreed to this payment and am looking into further action.
This new company has a lot to learn about this space if they are going to survive.

What an amazing service and food is delicious
What an amazing service. We order every week and absolutely love the food and the nutritional value. We have been keen to eat healthy, low carb and gluten free meals and Nourishd has been perfect. We will continue to order every week.

they give you less protein than advertised
For me delivery was fine, food tastes good. But it's not what it claims to be. I pulled all the chicken out of a meal and weighed it, it's less than half of what is advertised on the protein content. Perhaps 40%.
I think most people won't be checking this, they can get away with giving you half of the expensive ingredients, but if you're body building this is terrible plus you're being ripped off, meat is expensive. If you think you're eating 140g protein a day, with nourished you might only get 70g, which is a huge difference.

Ignored Delivery Details Weekly
I’ve been ordering Nourish’d weekly since March 2023, and as a Coeliac the meals are nutritious and the menu offers good variety.
The downside of this company is their delivery drivers. I have had over 1/3 of my orders dumped outside my apartment building, dumped in the incorrect spot in my apartment building, even though I give very clear written instructions each week on how to enter the building and where to leave the box. I’ve been told each time by customer service that they will talk to the delivery drivers, however this service has continued for 14 months now with little to no change from the delivery drivers behaviour. They have even been dishonest about the instructions I’ve given stating that they “don’t work”, so I’ve sent a video of the code being entered into the key pad and the 4 steps they are meant to take the leave the food box underneath a set of black letterboxes.
On 2 April 2024, with 5 hours of rain overnight, my food box was dumped outside my apartment building in the pouring rain and when I went to collect it around 6am the food was rancid smelling and totally inedible. Whilst I was refunded for the amount, I was advised by Katie from Nourish’d on 3 April 2024 that “I completely understand how you must be feeling and we are so sorry. I have let our CEO know and will be speaking to her later today and she will personally come back to you”.
It is now 25 April 2024 and the CEO has made no contact with me about their horrendous delivery drivers I’ve been dealing with now for 14 months.

Food is mediocre
Food is mediocre, customer service is terrible sent over 5 emails for a receipt still no response.
This is the first review i have ever…
This is the first review i have ever done, on any website ever. I felt that strongly about the terrible experience i have had with this company that i needed to warn others. Genuinely the worst possible customer service i have ever experienced in my life. They sent me the wrong food twice. I changed my order before the cut off time and they sent a totally different order and then told me i didn't do it in time even though there is a clear receipt showing the time. And they refuse to refund. And then after cancelling they still sent me another box of food and charged me again. All food i cannot eat based on dietary restrictions.
Nourish'd HYGIENE HAZARD. We dumped them.
They don't close up their delivery boxes properly. The boxes have a fold-in lid but it's not held in place by anything. By the time you get your delivery, the fold-in lid is mangled and the box has been opened by someone (or more than one person?) along the delivery route from the Gold Coast.
Deliveries go missing. Food goes missing out of the box before it gets to you. Or your food is upside down inside the box, covered in dirty fingerprints.
Nourishd said they are NOT going to do anything about this!
Unbelievable food hygiene hazard and food safety hazard.
You are taking a real risk ordering from these people. No point reviewing the food, what you get delivered to you will be unsafe and unhygienic. We stopped ordering from them as we were worried about food poisoning or even COVID-19. No way of knowing how many people have handled the food before it gets to you.
We are now ordering from another company. They put tape on their delivery boxes (like every company in the world except Nourishd) and we have had no problems.
