This is the worst company for streaming, whilst watching a game the the tv, goes black. The picture freezes. There is nobody to contact. I have just paid £34 for a 1 month subscription. I cant believe Sky allows this company to stream its product. Don’t use it.

Manipulative App Design

They structure the user interface and the website so that it's very hard to cancel your membership and it's not possible to do it at all on the TV app, which is a disgrace

They do not even deserve 1 star, if I could give 0 or even lower I would, after being with them for 3 years I changed provider as their renewal price was ridiculous, even after changing provider they still charged me, I had a payment of £41.68 go out from NowTV on 30th march 2026, this is after I changed my broadband provider to Vodafone who took over my broadband on 27th March 2026, I contacted NowTV and they said it will be refunded up to 45 days, most companies refund are up to 5 days, this I believe is unlawful and criminal, I've read customer reports that they keep on charging customers monthly even though their contracts have ended and they won't refund the money, please avoid as they are purely scammers, avoid Sky too as NowTV is owned by Sky?

Luckily signed up only for a month. Very disappointed as wanted to watch Indian Wells tennis. Didn't realise service is live only not on demand so pointless with lots of matches beginning at midnight UK time. A few highlights available next day that's it. Too many Ads also. Verdict: wish I hadn't bothered for Indian Wells. Would be the same for any F1 not in our time zone.

This company has the worst abusive policies I have ever seen from a service provider in the UK. I subscribed for a trial where was a clear statement that I can cancel anytime and after a month I cancelled and 2 months later they are still charging my account even if I requested to cancel because I am not interested to continue. They refuse to cancel and pretend that I have to stay 1 year with them !!! It's ridiculous. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST

Standard plan is laughable quality…

Standard plan is laughable quality compared to competitors. I NEARLY used the Black Friday offer and subscribed for a FIXED 12 months at nearly £10 a month for TV Shows + Cinema offer. It was half price from the usual £20 so seemed a good deal. Even though forcing people to sign up for 12 months with no way out as part of an offer is not really a standard practice for streaming services in 2025… After a few clicks, turns out the £10/month offer is their Standard plan, with adds - fairs. Now wait for it, with adds, stereo sound and 720p resolution. Are you kidding me? For a streaming services, locked in for 12 months? Honestly, laughable quality, especially for blockbuster movies. Of course, you can boost for extra £6 a month to get 1080p (not even the 4k). Why are they even offering the cinema package advertised under 720p rates? So I can watch them on my phone? That’s borderline disrespectful towards customers. The worst Black Friday offer I’ve seen in my life. NOW TV put me off even considering future subscriptions.

Continuing rip off service....

Knowing that the Now sports app is slower than a snail I started the process of opening the app 5 minutes before the start of play of cricket match.
2 overs had gone before I got live action, only for it to glitch and freeze, requiring reloading (more missed play).
This company wallows in it's monopoly and has a complete and contemptuous disregard for quality of service and customer satisfaction.

Customer Service is horrendous!

Somehow I managed to pay for NowTV twice. Once via my Apple account and the other via direct debit. I have emailed twice and can’t find a way to speak to someone over the phone. I’m trying to get my money reimbursed and get the debit stopped. The customer service is shockingly bad.

Well I managed to have an online conversation with a real human. I gave all the evidence needed to illustrate that I’d been charged twice for the service. She couldn’t get to the bottom of it, I asked for the issue to be escalated and asked for advice on who can help and ensure I get a reimbursement. She just cut off the conversation and ended it. I’m gob smacked. What to do now? Sky have taken money from me when they shouldn’t have.

SCAM. THIEVES. Watchdog need to dedicate one of their…

Watchdog need to dedicate one of their TV shows to NOW TV .
NOW TV are uncontactable by phone, their customer service email is useless and they will NEVER put you through to a supervisor or manager, I’ve been waiting for about 6 months for the complaints department to get back to me, I don’t believe they ever will!
Instead they just thieve a monthly payment from me each month and they know I am not even able to log in and watch NOW TV.

Has anyone contacted watchdog?

Cancelled but still charged

Now TV hiked their prices from £27 to £45 within 18 months. When I called and cancelled they didn't cancel it and still charged me for the next month. I rang up and went loop but they have never refunded me. It's disgusting. I call / email and they tell me the refund is coming but it never lands. They give you all the excuses under the sun. Terrible provider

Cancelled but still charged. Zero respect for customers.

I recently cancelled all my memberships but despite that I was still charged. This is outrageous. I tried to get help via contacting NOW and was taken to a useless bot that doesn't let me type my query and tells me it's because I have another account which is false and then says oh sorry about that and ends the chat or says start over. That is completely useless and shows utter contempt of customers. The way they treat a paying customer this way is despicable. There is no recourse to chat with a person or any contact number easily accessible anywhere. And then they have the audacity to limit the complaint message to about 150 characters! Unbelievable.

NOW displays a shockingly disturbing way to treat customers especially for such a high cost, premium streaming platform.

Returning to the most pertinent issue, how can they possibly charge me when I have cancelled my membership?! Every single streaming platform I have ever used (and I have used numerous) when you cancel your membership, IT IS CANCELLED. . Completely dumbfounded that NOW has such disregard for their customers and treats us with so little respect. To charge me after I have cancelled. It's abhorrent.

Not to mention you have to repeatedly confirm to cancel about 4 times before they even let you cancel but then once they say theyve cancelled it then they will continue to charge you and not give you any way to contact them for complaints or refunds as their bot just leads you down a dead end alley. I will never use NOW again, atrocious company with no respect for their customers.

Worst streaming service ever!

Worst streaming service ever!! More expensive than competitors and has more ads!! Long delay when you want to switch devices eg turn off TV and start watching from phone. Tried to get help with this but contact form doesn’t work and chat service is useless. Was told ‘that’s just how NOW works’. I only signed up to watch a certain programme and once I’m done will definitely be cancelling!!!

Amazing Content, Butchered Beyond Recognition – FUBAR – Zero Stars

If you care about actually watching what you pay for, avoid NOW at all costs. It’s the single worst streaming service I’ve ever used, and it’s been consistently terrible for years. The tragedy is that they have incredible content — HBO series, award-winning films — but they deliver it so badly it’s practically vandalism.

Before you can watch anything, you’re forced to sit through a 30-second unskippable ad for their own shows. Even if you’ve paid for their so-called “ad-free” upgrade, the ads still play. Then, once the programme starts, the picture quality is horrendously poor — often pixelated, blocky, and locked to a fuzzy 720p unless you pay extra for their ‘Boost’ tier. Even then, don’t expect smooth, crisp playback.

Dark scenes look like they’ve been smeared with camouflage paint, action scenes dissolve into blocks, and you’ll quickly forget you’re watching premium HBO content because it looks like a low-res YouTube upload from 2008.

Customer service is a nightmare — if you try to cancel, be prepared for charges to keep coming out of your account, endless “technical” excuses, and zero accountability. Trustpilot’s 1.2/5 rating from thousands of reviews speaks volumes.

NOW isn’t just disappointing — it’s a disgrace. Their business model feels designed to milk customers for upgrades while still delivering a substandard experience. Content creators like HBO should be ashamed to let their work be butchered like this. Until they fix their streaming quality, ad policy, and customer support, the only responsible choice is to avoid them entirely.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, rude, constantly spoke over me and refused to allow me to speak to their supervisor. Would not let me end contract on the end date of the contract, as it was a weekend. They told me that it was in the terms&conditions, however it was not, as confirmed by them. Why lie?
