Thieves

The worst service ever! Being charged an extra £9 every month for an ultra booster package that I didn’t sign up for. They hide additional payments from you when signing up. Was supposed to pay £6.99 a month…. Turned into £16 and in November I was charged three separate times for £23 (I have the most basic package you can get! £6.99) they are thieves! I’ve tried getting in contact with them to fix this problem and all you can get. SERIOUSLY! Is a chat box which you can’t even respond to when it asks you questions!!! They also make the process so slow and repetitive and when you’re finally down you’ve reached a dead end. They do everything they can to make you just give up and cancel your membership and forget about the payments. The worst subscription service out there please don’t use them and save your money.

Shockingly unreliable internet

Shockingly unreliable internet. As they piggy back off OpenReach, they seem to leave all technical issues to them, unfortunately I've needed a NowTV Broadband engineer for about 2 weeks, as I have no internet in my office and am a remote worker, so this is costing me money as I loose clients. I've emailed and called THREE times, but their automated phone lines are a nightmare and their customer service is shockingly poor, they haven't even bothered to return my correspondence. As soon as my contract ends, I'm out of here NowTV Broadband and will be making sure that I tell every one of your terrible service.

Website is a nightmare

Website is a nightmare. Yesterday I tried to cancel my membership (basic, Entertainment only - £9.99pm too much for the dross on offer) - after getting through several screens I was offered a six month discount at £3.99pm which I accepted. Never got an email to confirm, navigating the website once logged in is a nightmare to find confirmation how much they'll be taking from my account in December. FGS Now is a part of Sky and Sky is also a nightmare to navigate and negotiate.

Huge issue with their broadband…

Edit: Being told that an appointment is booked, then having it cancelled on me last minute, then being told over that phone that another one is booked, that never materialized (so I think I was lied to to get me off the phone). Now being given another new date for next week.

Decided to cancel the contract before it goes live and go with another company

Huge issue with their broadband installation. An engineer was supposed to be booked (as I was informed by the previous engineer), when I chased this with Customer service they had no booking request and now it is having to be escalated so they can 'try' and contact an engineer, and 'try' to get an appointment for some part of the connection process.

nearly a week from my installation date and no end in sight

It's a shame because the actual broadband has been great when it worked

DO NOT USE NOWTV !!!! they have lied to me saying they cancelled my broadband but have continued to steal money from me for 2 months and saying i haven’t cancelled it when that’s all i’ve been emailing them about!!!! their customer service is absolutely VILE , sending me the same information form to fill out MULTIPLE TIMES and ignoring me and still trying to steal my money, absolutely avoid as these people are absolute SCUM

Beware

Beware. They will try to charge you despite you cancelling your subscription. Each attempt to contact support led to a bot which is useless and deliberately obstructive.
You cannot get in touch with Now TV!

Robbing company, avoid at all cost(literally)

I purchased a membership for a few months and decided to cancel, but there’s no legitimate option to do so. Every attempt to contact support leads to a frustrating bot with limited functionality, which eventually sends me back to the membership page that still lacks a cancellation button. This seems deliberately obstructive.

Believe the reviews

Total rip off merchants. Poor from start to finish and don’t care. Short term gain, long term loss type of business. Will charge for services even when cancelled and won’t refund. They will not take telephone calls about problems either. If you use this company you have been warned

This company is a waste of time

I got a new bank debit card and phoned after missing one payment and gave new card details. The following month payment was rejected by my bank so I sent new card details via their website.
I could not get through on the phone and then discovered the following 2 months had been rejected by my bank while I was abroad on holiday.
I phoned on my return as home phone and broadband were disconnected.
I was told to pay missing payments and also a contract termination fee. As they had terminated my contract Not me I would not be paying. I paid the missing payments with my card and was told I could not retain my home phone number ( which I have had for 52 years) and would take 1 week to be reconnected. I asked the reason my bank had rejected the payments and was told to contact my bank.
I contacted my bank and was given printouts which showed no amount was being claimed! Another phone call to NowTV and I asked to speak to a manager and was told someone would phone me on my mobile within 72 hours.
No one phoned and then I got an email saying they had tried to contact me. I replied asking for dates and times as I had no missed calls on my mobile. I did not receive a reply.
The next month was also not paid so another phone call and I actually got transferred to a manager. He quoted the last 4 digits of my new card, so I asked him to check with their IT department.
He rang me back and said there was no fault in their system, and he would ring me after the next payment was due.
This payment went through so when he phoned I told him the IT department must have made an adjustment, as 4 payments were rejected then the 5th was paid. He said nothing had been amended.
I asked how the payments I made over the phone were authorised and not their automated ones and was informed because they were manual.
How can a company be given card details at least 5 times and not realise they are doing something wrong!

Boost scam

I fell for the "Boost" scam and didn't realise for 2 years, that's 24months of payments taken without my knowledge for a service I never used or requested. They offered me 3 months refund so they know full well what they have done.

Disturbingly dishonest

Disturbingly dishonest. Moved houses, and got charged a non promotional rate as a result, for a horrible product compared to their competitors. The move team who assured me my move is good to go, but they failed to mention my engineer book date Is in reality fake. And that they'll show up whenever they please, THERE IS NO MISSED SERVICE OR ENGINEER APPOINTMENT COMPENSATION, BECAUSE EVERYTHING THEY OFFER IS ESTIMATED AND NOT ACTUAL. I was forced to pay £120 TO GET OUT OF A MASSIVE RIP OFF OF A CONTRACT. Never again, if you need to get rid of them, LOWER YOUR PACKAGE TO THE LOWEST OPTION AND LEAVE RIGHT AWAY

Now TV have been taking unauthorised…

Now TV have been taking unauthorised payments from my credit card. Now TV have allowed someone to take out membership using my credit card. This is unauthorised by me. Now TV know this but refuse to do anything. Now TV are complicit in this fraud. My credit card acted swiftly and refunded the unauthorised payment to me - but Now TV are the ones who should refund this money. Now TV have failed to take this issue seriously. They refuse to help - only emailing vague and repetitive comments asking for information already supplied. This is dishonest - Now TV are allowing fraud. Shameful.
