This is the worst company for streaming, whilst watching a game the the tv, goes black. The picture freezes. There is nobody to contact. I have just paid £34 for a 1 month subscription. I cant believe... See more

They don’t give you an option to pause…
They don’t give you an option to pause the game, start from the beginning or watch a replay later on in the day.
Some games are available for a reply after 24 hours and they do this deliberately so you have to pay for a 2nd day pass.
Even if you have a monthly pass, you still have to wait 24 hours before you can watch a replay. This is not ideal as by that time you have likely know the score already.
Various people have complained about this for years and all other streaming services offer this but they are just very poor and offer the worst possible service.
Picture quality is also very bad unless you pay extra for the Boost service.
avoid like the plague
booked a one month sports package as gone into hospital, then yesterday realised they'd taken another £6 from my account for 'Boost' which i certainly didnt ask for. reading other peoples reviews i can see its pointless trying to get my money back so will take the hit, but i will NEVER use them again and will tell anybody i can never to use them either. theyre nothing more than a bunch of scammers. And to top it all their streaming is rubbish!
Terrible streaming service
Terrible streaming service. You have to pay for many separate services to watch different things, and even after that, yous till get ads. If you switch to watch on another device, you have to wait 10 minutes for it to not register two devices at one time.
Never give them your bank details
Never give them your bank details. They'll find any excuse to have their grubby little hands in there.
Also had the issue where I signed up for an entertainment pass then randomly got charged a week later for the cinema boost I didn't sign up for.
When I queried it I was told I should've told them I didn't want the cinema boost before they charged me for it even though there was no warning they were going to do that. I then asked to cancel which they said they did only for me to see they're still helping themselves to £6.99 a month now they say the cancellation can't take affect until November. Will now have to contact my bank to block them taking anymore money.
UK government need to take a look at this well known scam
Paid for no adverts getting adverts. Cannot contact them. Will have to go to my bank and get then to stop payments. As I signed up for 6 months.
NowTv number 033 033 230 50 not…
NowTv number 033 033 230 50 not working, when I call and I'm prompted to "choose from the following options". Upon choosing any number it says "sorry, I didn't quite catch that". I have tried with 3 different phones and still can’t get through. Very horrible service
Scammers
Scammers, can't even contact the customer support, as I'm prompted to "choose from the following options". Upon choosing any number it says "sorry, I didn't quite catch that". How in hell doesn't it catch a number that you manually put in the keypad?!
Awful
Awful, paid extra to have no contract for broadband and they have doubled my monthly bill. Worse bit is it’s the worst internet I have used. AVOID!!!
As a customer you mean nothing.
I am currently using the Now app. Purely for live sport. And because Now (sky tv) were offering a low cost deal for the duration. I have recently become pi**ed at them for deleting answers to question's about accessing a users watch list. Not a massive problem but annoying nonetheless. More annoying when pages from community sites claiming problem solved are blocked from view by sky.
Many other users are having worse experiences but are underestimating how little sky tv care about negative feedback. When I was installing systems for them decades ago, the poor quality Amstrad receivers were often returned as failed. But were recycled in their system for installation for new customers, engineers were made aware of this but were powerless to change marked failed units. Just so that new customer direct debits were activated. Enraged customers were also not likely to make the trip to northern Scotlaind to their offices after getting the run around for several weeks.
Through the Now app I can cancel fairly easily when the time comes. Through the much more expensive receiver package...good luck ending that.
An ongoing saga...
An ongoing saga...
I cancelled my NOW TV subscription in December 2023 round about - however, I have noticed the payments continued. On a few occasions I have contacted them, they have advised another account is using my payment details (however, I can see the payments have been taken on my own dormant account...which I questioned, why would they be listed under my account of this was not related to my own account?). I flagged immediately that if another account is using my payment details, then this is fraudulent and could this be investigated/stopped immediately. They were uninterested in helping - they asked me to provide security details for the fraudulent account (how on earth would I have those if they have been set up by a frauster?). They also provide no explanation as to why I can see the payments in question listed on my own account and completely glossed over it pushing the "alternative accoubt" narrative - my own account clearly shows no active subscriptions (since Dec 2023). They have absolutely no interest in helping me rectify this, but will happily take £9.99 monthly - I have opened disputes with Paypal who were more than happy to take forward my possible Fraud findings at forst mention and could not have been more helpful.
Imagine a company NOT taking fraud seriously, but expecting you to know the security details of who has defrauded you. I can see a whole host of reviews here of them taking money from peoples accounts unathorised - so this should not be surprising.
got an email about future contract…
got an email about future contract options with a phone number to contact - tried calling a few times, had to listen to continuous irrelevant information 'before we put you through to an advisor', confirm my details with entering last digits of card number etc. in the end they just say 'you called in a busy time' and hung up.
Why I will be telling all my friends and family to avoid NowTV
Same problem others have had - I signed up for the £9.99 a month Entertainment option, and with no warning, no email and no indication that it would happen, a week later I have been charged £9.99 for the 'Cinema' options AND £6 for the 'Boost' option, neither of which I signed up for. I explicitly did NOT select these when I signed up a week earlier.
Such terrible behaviour. Will be recommending to all friends and family to avoid NowTV, and have cancelled.
Awful connection
Awful connection. Worst decision I ever did going with them.
Then they put my bill up 100% because I wouldn't sign a 1 year deal as I'm moving house.
Avoid.
SCAM
I have signed for an entertainment membership for £6.99/month.
I have just found out that, together with the membership above, I have been enrolled, without any warning or email confirmations, for an Ultra boots membership (£9/month) and also a Cinema one (£9.99/month).
This, again without any warning, email, any sort of communication whatsoever.
I also would like to underline I have never used any of the products belonging to these services as I wasn't aware of paying for them!
There is no other word to describe it other than scam and I am shocked this way of conducting business can be found legal on any level.
No customer service, inaccurate advice, repeating errors
Customer service seems incapable of giving anything other than canned/scripted responses and don't seem to have any way of reporting ongoing issues.
Broadband membership
Have a TV membership (Nb. For broadband use). Am a customer who pays my bills, a near death, replacement of debit card & mobile phone within past ten days, causing issues. New card details have been provided, as has the new mobile no., Now TV have proved incapable of taking a payment. As an individual who's been near death, I've had to provide my post code, again and again and again and again and again and other data, Now TV employing poor telesales staff. Not one of the other suppliers public or private, have caused the slightest issue. Now TV ? Hours trying to make a payment now, do wonder if they actively try to hack people off ?
11Mbps - Need I say more?
I’ve complained before about NowTV, whenever I’m talking to anyone about broadband I actively and heavily discourage them from using NowTV, their ridiculously poor internet speeds, customer service and their expensive and disappointing deals make them the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of associating with. I have had to switch phone network providers (O2 to Voxi) to be able to get a bigger data deal per month so that I can have RELIABLE wifi at home, I’m on 5G as I’m writing this, I had to SWITCH PHONE PROVIDERS to access RELIABLE INTERNET. That should never have to happen, are you insane? I’m paying way too much to have blurry video when I watch anything on Netflix and to have a download speed of 11Mbps but then I actively CHOSE to pay more for my phone network to have more phone data. That's how often I use phone data at home, I would run out every month and have to buy more. I’m paying £30 a month (roughly) and then I’m only paying a very well priced £10/month for unlimited calls, unlimited Social Media (Spotify, Tiktok, Insta, Snapchat, Whatsapp etc.) and data on top of that. If it wasn't for the fact that I work 60+ hours a week and had more time on my hands, I would have switched over a year ago. The wifi cuts out 2/3 times a week at night?? AND I tried to have a technician called to see what the frick they could do to help the speed of this miserable, internet from hell and they said "actually you're just being stupid, you don’t know anything, your wifi is absolutely fine and you are an overreacting customer"
NOW TV.. rubbish
Well I was desperate to watch The Open golf and as Sky have an unfair monopoly, after many years of denial, I decided to treat myself. As Arnie would say'' big mistake". Coverage was pathetic, although commentators, especially Wayne and Sir Nick were brilliant (I could elaborate)and on the final day, I couldn't stream due to an overload of users Waste of money....and despite immediately trying to cancel, I couldn't get my money back! Thank goodness only a one month trial.
A whole star is too much
A whole star is too much. After siging up we got stuck in a loop. As soon as we select something to watch it asks us to sign up, which we have done. And repeat.... absolute rubbish will be cancelling and not bothering with again.
