WE LOVE MARC
NUCO was great and all, but Marc was exceptional. The love and care he put into making us feel safe and comfortable was unmatched, giving advice in a friendly and accessible way to ensure we had the best possible stay. Even if we don’t get our deposit back, it was all worth it to meet Marc ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Website not working
I tried on all of the releases to get the Varsity ticket using the account that I already had, but the website didn't load. When in the end I made a new account, suddenly the website did load. But then I got on the long queue. So in the end I had to buy a ticket from someone else to get the ticket. And then the other account went further on the queue so I got offered a second ticket which I then cancelled.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. After checking your bookings and our correspondence, I’m a little unsure why you’ve chosen to leave a 1-star rating.
Before the general release, there was an option to book using a flight code. If you had booked a flight and shared your flight confirmation with the Varsity Committee, you would have been guaranteed a place on the trip and received a booking code. These flight codes were used during the first and second release phases.
During the general release, there were still hundreds of people trying to book at once, which did cause some delays when placing deposits. You’re right that the process took a little time — something our development team is always working to improve during high-traffic periods. The trip sold out quickly, meaning many people, like yourself, were initially only able to secure a place on the waiting list.
Fortunately, we were able to upgrade all waiting list bookings to confirmed places, so you did secure a confirmed spot.
As you mentioned in your review, while on the waiting list you found someone with a confirmed booking who could no longer attend, and they transferred their confirmed booking to you.
When your own waitlist booking was later confirmed on 31st October, you no longer needed it. You let us know, and we cancelled that booking with a full refund issued on 1st November. The refund was processed and completed by 6th November, meaning it should have reached your account by 7th November.
We’d really appreciate it if you could email us at info@nucotravel.com to share more details about your experience and why you felt a 1-star review was appropriate.
We’re always eager to improve and ensure all passengers have a positive experience with us.
To summarise — you successfully secured two confirmed bookings for the same trip under different accounts. One was cancelled and fully refunded within 7 days.

Hello, really sorry to see your review.
We looked further into your booking, and you did cancel the holiday package you had booked and as such our standard cancellation fees apply.
You are correct in saying you didn't receive a refund as the cancellation fee was the same amount as you had paid towards your booking.
What has become clear when looking at your booking and communication with our team, is that your reason for cancellation was due to booking onto the other holiday package your group has for the same week and same resort.
As a gesture, we have refunded the deposit from your cancelled booking. Our team have already been in touch with you directly and processed.
You do have a unique situation with your group having two holiday packages for the same week of the season, in the same resort, with crossover of the package inclusions.
Had this not been the case, the cancellation fees, that had been agreed to at the time of creating your account and booking, would have applied.
