The office staff are very helpful and supportive. The work that is offered is often quite a distance and for establishment work i.e. nursing homes you don't get any fuel allowance . You can not really plan your week as you have to be available at a moments notice to go to work which is not always convenient but if you want the work then you have to go. The care at home is more organised and you have regular clients that you visit every week and the calls are a minimum of 2 hours but in my experience there are not many of them in my area. Your holiday pay is included in your hourly rate so it looks like your on a good hourly rate but in fact your on the same rate as other companies but their rate does not include your holiday pay, I enjoy working for Nurseplus and it is good if you only want a few hours a week but if you wanted it for being your only source of income then you might not get enough establishment work for covering your living expenses and you would not know from one week to the next if you had any work, unless you were very lucky and an establishment liked you and booked you in advance. For the care at home work you get a rotor for but unfortunately for me I haven't had many client in the care at home side of things. You get paid weekly which is useful and you are never pushed into accepting work that your not happy to accept. On the whole Nurseplus is a good company to work for if its not going to be your main source of income.

Working for Nurseplus Care at home has been a great experience so far. The training and support they have given me has been excellent, I felt fully prepared for my first shift. The support from the management and office has been great, they are always happy to answer any questions I have when they arise and have kept in touch with me throughout so I never feel like I'm just shown what to do and then forgotten about. Feels like I have found a company who actually cares about its staff as well as its customers.

My mother was able to leave the hospital after 6 months and Nurseplus Swindon have been providing excellent 24 hour care since August . They are all passionate about caring, and upbeat. . She is severely disabled. , requires suction and is PEG fed , and the carers have been trained to provide constant care for her . I would definitely recommend this company .

I've recently started using nurseplus Dover for my nan. The care is amazing from care staff to office staff. I would highly recommend them.

The care my husband received from Helen, Sarah and Vicky (and others as more help was needed) was professional, kind, and extremely respectful. I would highly recommend Nurseplus from my experience. Thank you.

My review is overall, I've used 3 Care companies in total and nurse Plus is by far the best. The office is well managed and communicative, the office manager is often the one who answers the phone which i believe is a good thing as it means she has her finger on the pulse. The carers are a mix between family friends and relatives with just the amount of professionalism required. I'm lucky enough to have one dedicated carer who is without doubt a god send, currently I cannot rate the company high enough.

In conclusion I would say nurse Plus is outstanding in my opinion.

The Maidstone branch are wonderful. They are always quick to respond to any request and are very helpful and professional. Our clients feel very happy with the services they provide.

Our carer from Dover branch is polite and helpful and as an over night carer has provided necessary backup with relief of worry knowing the patient is in safe hands

Nurseplus were brilliant at dealing with a range of 'emergencies' calmly and competently in looking after my parents, one of whom could be challenging. Living so far away it was always a comfort to know they could deal with things that arose.

Very helpful and very understanding in the Dover Office, carers don't rush me and they are polite and friendly. Never feel that you are in danger and you feel safe with them.

Dad has two visits a day, morning and ‘tea time’. This has been for approximately a couple of years. He looks forward to them and gets on well with all his carers. It’s certainly piece of mind for the family that he’s got someone going in everyday to help him with washing, dressing and administering his tablets. We feel confident any changes to his health will be flagged up, and they have called his surgery to arrange home visits on occasion.
Mum passed away a year ago and we were very touched when Nurse Plus got in touch to say they wanted to donate a small potted tree to Dad dedicated to Mum, with a little plaque.
I have often been at Dad’s when the carers visit; they are always cheery and friendly and lovely with Dad.
The app is very useful. I can see when the visits are, who has been, and any notes they leave.
Communication with NP on the phone has always been good too.
We are very happy with the service provided by Nurse Plus Dover.

My mother in law’s care was lovely. She had the best care from the team in Dover and a special shout out to Sylvia that was so committed and a real asset to the team. We’re all going to miss her. Thank you team Dover 👏👏💪

Fantastic service from nurse plus Dover branch ! My uncle has carers that come to his home and provide care and support for his needs.
He now has consistent carers that come and he knows them all by name ! And looks forward to them coming and his scheduled care visits.
Any issues or concerns have been addressed to head office at dealt with promptly and resolved to a good standard. My views have been listened to and taken on board as my uncles next of kin.
I would highly recommend Nurse plus care services and the team / staff from the Dover Branch in providing care to individuals that require extra help and support.
Seeing my uncle happy and cared for by his regular carers makes me happy when I visit him and when I speak to him on the phone or FaceTime - i am very reassured and grateful that he is settled and content. 👍❤️👍😊😊❤️

We have a generally excellent service from Nurse Plus for our Dad. In recent months we have had a couple of staff members who are not as attentive as regular staff but the office when informed staff quickly adhered to our requests and those staff have not returned to care for my Dad, as we have requested.
The online service allows us to see who and what time they nurses are coming and read their account from their visit too. Brilliant! We can keep an eye on things from a great distance away. ❤️👍🏼

Extremely professional and well-organised. Every care worker compassionate, empathetic and efficient in their care. Glad I chose this company to care for my elderly wife with Alzheimer's.
