Still utterly utterly useless. Prices have just gone up, still can't offer a service resembling anything remotely decent. Still couldn't organise a p!$$-up in the local Wetherspoons. Every route these... See more

0 out of 10.
It say Bus comes every 7 minutes but I regularly had to wait more than 20 minutes. To top up your Swift card, u need to go to 3 different places, not worth it for me. Their customer service is lazy and not helpful. If you want to know how much I dislike these buses, I walk 1 hour and 30 minutes, 4/7 days cause I don't want to deal with these arrogant, unhelpful people. Buses smell bad too.
Out of date and smelly buses 😆
Out of date and smelly buses 😆
Even developing countries aim to provide latest technologically advanced and clean buses. Birmingham really is still stuck in the 90s 😆😆😆
Helpful Customer Service Advice
I bought a coach ticket from Bristol to Birmingham. I should have brought a return ticket. As I’m not great with doing things on line, I phone national express customer services for some help and advice. I spoke to a customer service representative by the name of Naz. He was extremely
helpful, patient, polite, respectful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Naz professionalism was exceptional.
…Late
I left school and got to the bus stop early, bus was 20 minutes late and the driver didn't stop at the stop multiple people were pressing the button for.
Wolverhampton Bus 2
A bus that is supposed to come every 7 mins instead comes every 30 mins and for some genuine unknown reason they always have a single decker bus trying to squeeze as many people in as possible because screw it why not. I hate thinking about this company because I genuinely despise them. I can’t understand why it’s this bad, clearly no one in management cares about high standards and this company really contributes to gridlocks and a stigma that people have on Wolverhampton. It’s truly awful. If I could put 0, I would as there are no positives for this company. Hopefully one day buses get nationalised and they sack every single one of these lazy people.
Just had the most wonderful bus driver…
Just had the most wonderful bus driver who helped us get from his bus (50) to the 76 busstop and even directed us to the safer crossing.
he was bald with glasses and doing the 50 route on a Saturday afternoon
absolute lovely man, didn't catch his name or the bus name but if anyone recognises this- thank you!
I live in Birmingham and don’t have a…
I live in Birmingham and don’t have a car so there no order way to get to the city since the train station isn’t nearby. The bus service is one of the worse service that I have to take regularly. Rarely are the buses on time. And even worse thing is a lot of times the google map shows the bus left/departed, but you’re standing in the bus stop and you don’t spot any bus leaving or arriving….
And every year they keep increasing the bus fair with such shitty service.
Worst public service in the UK.
The worst public service I have ever had the misfortune to use. I have lost work because of this service, the staff aspecially the senior staff are some of the worst people I have ever met, rude arrogant filled with contempt for the people they give this service to. Some days the driver won't even stop for you, drivers constantly racing through stops to get to the final destination then they wonder why people get angry at them when they stop at a half way point because they are a head of schedule, which means they have gone through stop early so people will miss that bus. And to top this all off certain people get let on the bus free and if your an illegal or non British they seemingly allow them on for £1.50 yet, the machine wouldn't scan my card (the fault of the machine) so I had to get off bus and I missed my train and that day I lost that job, and to rub salt in the wounds two minutes later I used my card in a shop next to bus to make sure it works. The management and head office of this service all need replacing with people who actually know what they are doing.
Poor service
Some drivers don’t care about people. I was waiting for 11A which was supposed to come at 9:12 pm at willes road driver saw us but didn’t stop and the next bus took ages. You guys need to improve your service once i was in bus and i saw elderly man trying to run towards a bus stop the driver saw it but he didn’t stop at the bus stop and this continued on next stop there was lady standing she waved at driver but the driver didn’t stop. They don’t care if a person is standing in cold or rain if they want to stop they stop if they don’t want to stop they don’t

The 46 bus
The 46 bus was delayed 30 mins, which has not happened for the first time and after that I started walking to my home when I saw it coming in full speed and I tried to stop it just a little way before the bus stop, but the insolent driver did not stop even at the bus stop and proceeded in full speed

Useless service that I don't trust to get me to work on time. As soon as I learn how to drive I will never use a bus again

Poor attitudes
Since the payrise the drivers received and the increase in fares the attitude off many drivers has been dismal. Mistakes they make they don't apologise for or hold themselves to account, when there's a problem passengers are not informed and left sitting for ages
It's not hard to be friendly.

shocking
since the wage increase drivers do not care, buses always late, and further more.... £2.90 for an adult single??? i live in cradley heath, and its actually cheaper 4 myself and my wife to get a taxi on a saturday nite out rather than wait at a bus stop, (50%/50%) chance that the bus will show up at all,

WORST!
WORST!
I travel on bus 3 Binley and 3 Arena park Coventry.
It has never happened before the thing that happened today, I don’t mind bus getting delayed it’s okay I have waited for 1 hr on a stop.
Today morning I went to catch the bus 3 Binley from Garth street, Binley Coventry 8:39am, the bus driver saw me he closed the door, he was still on the bus stop!!!! He closed the ducking door? That’s rude it is freezing out here with no humanity in that person , I am an Indian!!! I know ppl. Are racist towards us, I don’t mind, we work hard and just get our work done, I have come across many white black and Asian drivers who are extremely helpful towards customers, and plus I pay monthly £64 to nx bus.
This was a white old thin man I would have written the bus number though, but I couldn’t he should be sacked! I was right on the bus stop yet he kept the door closed and went straight back!!!!
Awful extremely awful I know his face, If I see him again I’m putting it on YouTube, ty

Dreadful journey 94 bus
Why don't they run more route 94 buses in the morning rush hour and from15.00pm onwards. Failing that have more express buses that have limited stops. It is a main arterial route into Birmingham after all. EVERYDAY by the time the 94 bus gets to Washwood Heath/Ward End from Chelmsley Wood it is packed yet still the drivers stop at Saltley and Nechells. Passengers are standing on the stairs and on the top deck and the bottom deck is rammed. It is mainly students who get off near Ashted Circus and then at Mathew Boulton. Travelling at this time on this route is the most horrible journey one could ever experience. No one wears decent clothes as they get pulled and dragged as people try and get on and off. If a pushchair is on it is awful and if a fat person is standing you can't get past them. A journey to dread

Very annoyed customer
Why is the no. 8 bus such a terrible service. Once again waited 50 minutes for a bus in the freezing cold while all the other no buses are operating a normal service. I wouldn't mind if it was a one off but it seems to be a regular occurance. Fed up having to get a taxi because bus not turned up and I need to get too get to an appointment.

Can't activate fully paid for card, teenage girl not allowed on bus.
For the past 1 year plus we have reported issues with registering my daughters bus pass. She carries her receipt with her on advice of one nx advisor to show the driver. Another adviser suggests it's at drivers discretion?? Now the drivers are refusing her to get on the bus which means she could be stranded 5 miles away from home in the dark, a very scary experience for a teenage girl trying to get back from school.
After the last complaint this week, the advisor said she needs to take the card to West Bromwich to get it activated, when obviously there is a nx system fault. Are they for real? The pass doesn't work so how the hell do they expect her to get there?? Plus it's going to take 2 hours each way, with multiple bus changes with the risk of getting stranded. We've now cancelled her pass expecting a full, unconditional refund as the said service was not supplied.
