Splendid lodge with danish hospitality
We got a feeling of professionalism already when booking the vacation with Nyati. The trip was well planned, and when arriving at the local airport we were well received by the Nyati- team. The lodge itself is a fabulous location; situated along the Olifant River, spacious and well kept. We spent a week in one of the Villas, and they are splendid accomodation! The staff at the lodge are always smiling, service is excellent and even when the power was out for a day, they were able to keep all services. The wildlife in the surrounding area is so rich, and the rangers are doing a great job on the safaris. Also, the excursion to Drakensberg is a great experience itself. The only feedback in respect of improvements would be to make sure children are provided a customised menu (which they are, but information lacked), and sell som kind of snacks, ice cream etc inside the lodge. One needs that for the excursions..

Our best holiday experience in a long time
An amazing experience in beautiful surroundings right down to the Oliphant river and its many hippos. We saw most of the Big Five animals and all Ugly Five animals as well as many other animals and not least birds. The food, the South African wines and the service were top. The rangers were clever and knowledgeable. A stay at Nyati Lodge is highly recommended.

Family trip
Sanitary installations need maintenance.
Children under 12 pay full price for quad bike safari even though they are driving with their parents.
Besides the above mentioned it was a good experience.

Wonderful week at Nyati Safari!
Hi,
We arrived at home on sunday after a wonderful week at Nyati.
All six of us are very satisfied with all the activities, staff, food and the friendly people thats works there.
We can strongly recommend Nyati if you are interessted in safari and want to have a little luxury at the same time.
