Harry was lovely, I could not have asked for a better sales representative to answer my call, he was helpful, he explained everything in a way i understood, he was patient while I found the right information he needed he was talkative and held a polite conversation, I was originally dreading having to call as I don’t particularly like having to sort out these things as I don’t really understand any of it! , but I would definitely have faith again if i needed to call with a problem, very happy we have moved over to octopus and hopefully every sales representative is just as lovely as harry 🐙

I just wanted to speak to someone about my gas
and Electricity.My previous supplier made that
difficult and they continuously pushed me to
have a smart meter which I didn’t want.
That’s the main reason I came to Octopus energy.

Octopus Energy has honestly been a breath of fresh air. Their customer service is friendly and actually helpful, and the billing has been super clear, with no sneaky surprises. I love their focus on renewable energy, and the app makes it easy to track usage. Switching was painless, too. Overall, reliable, transparent, and refreshingly down to earth.

I requested a refund and octopus stated it could be up to a week for a reply and a further few days until my refund hit my bank.
2 days later the money was in my account.

Fast and helpful

The service agent listened well to my query and assured me that I wasn't having to pay more each month, but rather based on usage from previous bills and expected usage in future they advised that we would pay more to cover the cost of rising fuel costs

I had a call from octopus and at last found an understanding personnel Chris. We chatted and understood each other and the whys how things escalated as they had. My circumstances had 70% of what happened and he was the 1st person to actually listen, wasn't judgemental and between us came up with a plan suitable to my needs. For the 1st time ever I was at ease with an octopus service staff. Who didn't dictate to me about getting my account upto date. He understood that I'd been in hospital a very long while, this helped. He was Nice and a Calm guy. Anyway a plan will be in place Thanks to You Chris. Best Wishes to Ya Daz

My call and concern was dealt with by Janine who was very helpful, polite and professional. She explained everything in detail to me, checked out my query and advised me throughly what had happened and what would now happen in the future.

Dimitry was outstanding in his patience and excellent explanations regarding smart meter readings and adjusting our direct debit payment down significantly as we have been using solar panels for the past five months. Nothing was too much trouble and left me reassured that as an ambassador for Octopus I felt fully confident that Octopus was fully committed to it's customers.

Potter in Asda even though I’ve had to change my swap over date the day after due to still in contract but after contacting your customer service department they have been able to alter my moving date so I don’t get a penalty from my previous supplier because I was three days still in contract.

Yusra was Very helpful, empathetic and , demonstrated patience whilst I struggled to understand the different export tariff options, which was complicated by the use of ‘flexible’ on the web which apparently is not correct
