I am an solar/heat pump newby and just require to be lead a little in plain terms not bombarded with numerous tariffs i dont really understand surely you are the experts i am definitely not just give honest simple advice.

I love Octopus. Its so simple and the customer service is brilliant. You can just email and they actually send decent helpful replies! Don't ever change Octopus, unless its to get even better!

Asked Octopus energy to help me with paying my bill a bit later than I had arranged, I emailed them, they got back to me Immediately and agreed, brilliant energy company 👏

It took several months plus endless emails before Octopus finally provided me with an account and reference number. I had the date - provided by them - for my Direct Debit to come out and then ... . nothing! When I asked why they hadn't taken the D.D. they informed me I didn't actually have an account with them. Hang on! Octopus GAVE me the account information but then failed to take the money. And I still have their emails to prove it. How they get the praise for customer service is beyond me.

Called regarding help with dual fuel tariffs following a change in my financial circumstances and health. I was advised ‘these are your Options and whilst we can offer you a reduced standing charge the rate for both gas and electric will be much higher.’ Not helpful in the slightest.

Following an unexpected issue with my account and being pretty disgruntled I had Adam from Octopus Energy contact me to resolve my issue.

Everything that Adam said he would do he did and then I had a follow up from his manager Tyler.

The constancy and level of excellence is something Ive not had from customer services ever.

I had heard the adverts on the radio from people singing the praises of Octopus Energy and thought, NAH, this isnt real. Take it from me having now had it first hand, the customer service is second to none.

I have mentioned the two individuals who I have dealt with to resolve my issue because I believe they deserve recognition for a job well done and doing exactly what they said they would do but also for following up with updates on progress.

Thank you to both Adam for being excellent and Tyler for taking the reigns in Adams absence. Well done both of you have been brilliant

Replied to my query immediately. Have a simple answer that gave me enough information to make a decision.

A couple of times I have had difficulty paying my bill. Octopus energy have helped me by cutting standing charges for 3 months and even after that I was still having financial difficulties and they issued me with a voucher I could use towards my food shopping. I have nothing but praise for how this was handled in a sensitive and compassionate manner. The lady Sarah who dealt with my account couldn't of been kinder towards my situation. I many years ago faced hardship with a big supplier and all they did was allow me to fall further into debt and threatened debt collectors. Thank you octopus energy for going above and beyond for your customers.

The service they offer is honest transparent and well priced. If you have a problem their customer services are easily contactable and super fast and efficient in answering queries or sorting problems
Recent query e mailed to them was dealt with in a matter of hours and paperwork sorted immediately. Followed up by an enquiry from one of their representatives to ensure that I was happy and satisfied with the results. Well done Octopus been with you several years now and no plans to move in the future.
