Smooth guide to switching
I felt that from the beginning octopus had me covered with everything I needed to know to make a switch smooth and hassle free. All staff were very knowledgeable and prompt on responding to anything I asked and I really like the referral program for friends and family

I was recommended to Octopus Energy by a friend who had recently switched to them. I was quickly introduced to Francisco Sanchez who helped with my quotation and the process involved in Switching. I am currently in the process of switching having just signed electronically the new contract and bank mandate. We also look forward to receiving the promotional referral credits to our accounts. The service I have received so far from Francisco has been excellent and would thoroughly recommend if you are happy with the quotation, hopefully this will continue through the final stages of switching. just had to leave a review for David A. at Octopus Energy because honestly, the service was brilliant.
David actually listened to what I needed and sorted everything out without any hassle. No jumping through hoops, no being passed around to different departments - just straightforward help from someone who clearly knows what they're doing.
What I really appreciated was that it felt like talking to an actual person who cared, not just going through the motions. He answered all my questions, got back to me quickly, and made sure I was happy with everything before wrapping up.
It's nice to know that Octopus Energy has real people like David working there who genuinely want to help. Made the whole experience so much easier than I expected.

I seem to be in the minority
I seem to be in the minority here with my experience with Octopus. I have been with Octopus for around 7 or 8 weeks now and the change over from my previous supplier was easy and efficient.
Customer support seems to be by email only as I can't find anyone that can speak English when I call their helpline.
I have been trying to get more information regarding installing domestic batteries to compliment my solar system and although I get a quick reply confirming receipt of my email query the information I actually require has since failed to be provided.
Monthly bills are also only in Spanish with no English option which is something my previous supplier was able to do.
Time will tell if they work out to be cheaper and I guess if they supplied the battery information I could get them Installed and maybe they would be?
My experience so far is indifferent.

I was with Octopus in the UK good to be with them in Spain
When I lived in the UK l was with Octopus for several years, and had nothing but good experience, and great prices for my electricity. It is also good to know that my electricity has been generated without any harmful emissions from coal or oil.
I recently decided to move back to Octopus, when I discovered that Octopus is operating in Spain. It was so easy to do. No fuss no cost and a great deal too.

Amazing efficient service & prices
I was referred to Octopus by a friend, we both get €50 off our bill if I change supplier to them. I emailed Octopus to ask for a comparison against my current supplier. The response and further responses were always within 24 hours and gave good clear detail as to what I needed to do. Thank you to Enrique for his dedication.
Not only are Octopus efficient with their energy prices they are efficient with their amazing service, treating me with respect and showing that they wanted my business without being pushy. They did the changeover instantly almost, dealing with the current supplier and making it the easiest process you could ask for.
I highly recommend them for their competitive prices and amazing customer service (pre and post the change over).
Now if I recommend a friend to them I will be given €50 credit and my friend referred will also. It’s a good way to make some extra income towards electricity costs.
