Excellent Customer Service and Excellent Product

We purchased a Blue Galaxy Hovercart Bundle a year ago for our Grandson's birthday so he could use it when he visits us. This is a superb product and he has great fun with it. He sometimes allows his sister to use it so we decided to purchase a Pink Galaxy Hovercart Bundle for her birthday. The bundle arrived the next working day, however, the hoverboard was found to be faulty. We contacted Alex, the customer service manager, and he quickly replaced the hoverboard for us so our Granddaughter will get her Hovercart on her birthday as planned. We are very happy with the product (and so are the kids!) and the customer service and support is excellent. The website is very easy to navigate and I am a very happy customer so I thoroughly recommend this company.

Fantastic company

We’ve got a hover board from this company and can’t fault them! Any issues after it’s years warranty is out they’ve gone above and beyond to ensure I get replacement screws, due to my uneven garden, new straps,handles we can’t fault this company and we will be getting our second kart for my second child this October. The kart is very good also. Good charging time good battery use time. Shout out to Alex for all the help he gives

Top Class customer service

Great product and had an issue with button after a week. Send back to them for free and had it all repaired and send back to me in under a week. Amazing communication would highly recommend

AVOID!!!!!!!!!

AVOID!!!!

We purchased a TX85 electric scooter on 26th November 2023 which was then given as a gift on on Christmas Day.

We first notified Official Hoverboard of the issues we were having with the scooter on 5th February 2024, there were phone calls made with no answer, subsequent emails sent and a video as requested. We received no response but eventually received a response from on 15th February apologising for the delay in responding to us. 

The scooter was returned to Official Hoverboard on 2nd March. 

We then sent numerous emails looking for a update and received an email on 16th April stating the extensive repair work due to supposed 'water ingress' :

"Main Controller Board (£60)
Battery (£120)
Display Circuit (£40)
Motor (£70)
There is also a labour fee of £20, and a return shipping fee of £20 to add to the repair costs. This brings the total repair cost to £330."

We were giving the opportunity to purchase a new scooter are a cost of £240 which we rejected!

We have continually disputed the water ingress give the fact the scooter was used only on a small number of occasions in January before being unable to be used. Despite sending numerous emails requesting an a copy of the inspection report, we have had no response!

Hoverboard never worked and they stole my charger.

They sent me a hoverboard which was broken, I returned the hoverboard with the charger they said they just repaired it instead of sending me a new one because the charger was missing which it definitely wasn’t. I bought this for my son for his 10th birthday, it’s now been 20 days since his birthday, he’s had no gift now I have repaired hoverboard with no charger. Tell me how this makes sense. And return policy is I pay for the return. Never using them again and If I was you I would NOT buy from them.

Update they sent me a charger two weeks later

The most disappointing experience I’ve…

The most disappointing experience I’ve ever had with an online retailer. Two boards purchased for Christmas, both faulty. One had a battery fault, the other a fault with the PCB. Company difficult to reach, telephone number useless and thankfully I received a refund from my bank. Avoid and spend your money elsewhere.

Company review

Thought I would write a review as I’ve seen some bad ones on here. I ordered a hoverkart seat which arrived within two days which I think is really quick, there was a bolt missing so I emailed them and got a reply within hours saying they will send it in post today. So I’m happy with their service for a quick delivery and quick response. ⭐️

So the story continues

So the story continues. Delivery was later than promised according to their website. When it did arrive (the same day as my son’s birthday) the charger didn’t work and there seemed to be issues with the hoverboard. After chasing (can’t get hold of anyone at weekends as they don’t work) I got a new charger a week later. That did work but now proved there was an issue with the hoverboard itself. The unit is faulty on the left side only working intermittently. I emailed over the weekend with the issue and stated I wanted to return it, so far I have been ignored. Awful product and even worse customer service.

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company.
Ordered a hoverboard as a Christmas present. Within an hour it was not working properly. Contacted them via email and had to make a video to prove it was malfunctioning. Sent the hoverboard back and it was returned to us in exactly the same state, not working.
The telephone number does not work, you cannot physically speak to anyone. Email after email have been ignored. The couple of emails I had initially were from Alex - customer service manager who was less than helpful and now has just ignored every email I have sent.
The company lied to me, telling me they had fixed the board.
Nothing but conning and unscrupulous behaviour from a company selling products for children.
I am now having to go down the route of small claims court to try and get my money back.
I am usually very careful what companies I buy from, but since my problem I have noticed all of the negative reviews and similar problems.
Please do not put your trust in this awful company.

Official Hoverboard: A Disastrous Christmas Purchase

My interaction with Official Hoverboard was a disappointing saga of shattered expectations and dismal customer service. Despite my deliberate choice of their services over an Amazon seller for presumed reliability, the reality was a stark contrast.

Upon receiving two hoverboards for my children, one promptly succumbed to malfunction within 24 hours. What ensued was a torturous odyssey extending until March to rectify the issue, leaving a lingering sense of frustration and dissatisfaction.

The company's approach to customer support is woefully inadequate, designed to prolong and exacerbate the already exasperating returns process. Lamentably, direct communication via phone is conspicuously absent, with email as the sole avenue for contact. However, any semblance of promptness or efficiency in their responses is conspicuously absent, with weeks often elapsing before any form of acknowledgment.

My experience with Official Hoverboard serves as a cautionary tale, underscoring their glaring deficiencies in both product reliability and customer care.

The hoverboard broke a few days after…

The hoverboard broke a few days after it being first used as a Xmas gift , the customer service dept was initially slow to respond however - once communication had started it went smoothly from then on. A returns pre- paid lable was issued , item sent back, fixed and returned .

AVOID!!!

Exact same experience as customer below! Bought a Hoverboard for xmas! stopped working after 1 week, returned Hoverboard for apparent Enginneer inspection, not had a reply for a month!!! 6 emails later! no reply, Dodgy telephone number doesn't accept calls!

Avoid!!! Seems general consensus is very very bad!!

Purchased a £250 scooter for my son’s Xmas present, within 2 weeks it stopped working. The phone number is duff therefore the only point of contact is by email. Responses were hit & miss & when they finally agreed we could return it for inspection,a whole 2 weeks on we’d had no update. Only when we threatened to persue them,did we get a response. Apparently the scooter was severely water damaged (bullsh*t) & the cost of repairs would be more than we paid for the scooter. The warranty very conveniently does cover us. We are now going through trading standards in the hope they are investigated! I have a very upset son & am £250 out of pocket!
They should be ashamed of themselves!!! SCAMMING THIEVING COWBOYS!!!!

Brilliant customer service

I really can’t fault the company or customer service, I had a few small issues but they have gone above and beyond with making sure everything was rectified immediately.
Definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from these in the future.
I’ve been receiving emails from someone called Alex so credit to them.
