I have been buying from Oka for many…
I have been buying from Oka for many years. My home has so many pieces. To be totally honest I prefer the colours and styles some years ago. Far more ‘different’ items. Recently expensive and not so unique at all. I do buy still accessories and presents. What I do not like are the continual changing of prices. One day a certain price then 30% or 50% off. Then a week later back to the original price. It is confusing. … one senses the staff find it difficult . Return to the old Oka. Too many drab colours …. Too expensive for what it is. I would love the type of styles you had. I know many of my friends feel exactly the same.

Beautiful products matched with super styling skills and excellent customer service
Laura has helped us to transform our home. She has a real eye for colours and style which has been super helpful to ensure we find the best decor items to fit what we already have.
We especially appreciated the opportunity to try items at home and bring back if they didn’t quite work, which actually didn’t happen very often as Laura’s advice was spot on the majority of the time.
Fantastic service from all the Oka team in the Sunninghill branch. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Fabulous experience at Oka Sunninghill today ( as per usual).
I ADORE Oka and popping in is always such a pleasure. The staff at Oka always greet me warmly (by name) and never fail to make me feel welcome and valued as a customer.
I am ( sadly) a victim of much accidental shopping-I just stopped by to pick up a mirror -but once again left the store with several more items than planned :(
I personally blame Jane and Sam for this, I have such a nice time chatting to them, and they are SO lovely to be around, that I admit this is a VERY common place occurrence.Sigh.
True to form the ladies carried my purchases to the car for me and waved me off.
Well done Jane and Sam ; you never fail to make me smile. I always leave Oka with a slightly lighter wallet, a heavy bag or two, and a bounce in my step.

Neither Sales assistants smile!
Neither Sales assistants smile. I don’t need much assistance as I see what I like online and I know what I want. However, every time I visit, I don’t see a smiley face nor a warm welcome at this branch. Furthermore, both members of staff seem to have chronic problems with arms shoulders arthritis and neither can help carry anything back to the car! A homeware and Furniture store seems to be quite a difficult combination?!

We have spoken with the team about your visit, and their understanding is that you were greeted on arrival, discussed the vase displayed in the hall (including being offered a boxed one from the stockroom), and received assistance with the other items you were interested in. The team also confirmed that one of your shopping bags was carried to your car after your purchase of the Volu Vase, the mini Grisewood and the set of spoons. That said, we recognise that the interaction did not come across as warmly as you expected, and we will reinforce with the team the importance of a clearly welcoming approach.
You also mentioned concerns that staff appeared unable to assist due to potential health issues. Our colleagues are trained to help with carrying items where it is safe to do so, and as an inclusive employer we support team members of all abilities. We are confident that appropriate assistance was offered on the day, and we are sorry if this was not how it felt from your perspective.

Sam at the Sunninghill branch was…
Sam at the Sunninghill branch was amazing from when we first walked in one Sunday morning back in September to browse, to collating a wish list for us, making sure we got the items we wanted ready for Christmas and keeping us in the loop with deals and offers. Amazing service from start to finish and was a pleasure going in this morning and getting everything on our wish list (along with some additions as they were too nice to refuse!)
