Excellent communication from start to…
Excellent communication from start to finish. Polite delivery people who checked the condition of the contents before leaving.
Sales staff ( French woman in Tunbridge Wells shop) was not pushy at all and were very helpful in asking questions.

Oka at Hoopers
Tunbridge Wells has a lovely section in Hoopers Department Store . The staff are friendly and helpful -full of good ideas and advice. I have bought lamps and furniture and been delighted with all my purchases . Flower arrangements are offered by Suzanne and she has an excellent eye . My vase of flowers is really lovely . Definitely a place to visit!

Fantastic staff and beautiful products
We had such a fantastic experience at the Oka store in Hoopers. Suzanne went above and beyond helping us choose cushions for our new sofa, creating different combinations and giving us time to really think it through. Even though we walked in just before closing, we never felt rushed — just welcomed and looked after. We left feeling appreciated, which is something you don’t often find in retail anymore.

Although their products are excellent…their delivery charges are outrageous
Although their products are excellent their delivery costs are an insult.
I recently purchased a light from their concession in Tunbridge Wells at a cost of over £200 and had to pay a delivery cost even if I used a pick up in store.
So I have to pay for my petrol (and time) to travel back to the store AND pay for delivery to the store....ridiculous!!
What an avaricious company.....
NOT impressed as you will gather.....

I recently purchased a large sofa, various cushions for the sofa and 8 dining chairs from Oka. I’m delighted with all the purchases but particularly want to mention the service I received from Suzanne (at the Tunbridge Wells store). Terrible customer service in Tunbridge Wells
I purchased a Peking tv cabinet at Oka recently and had a bit of a "Pretty Woman" moment when I visited the Oka store in Tunbridge Wells, when I went to view the item prior to purchasing it. I was not well dressed as I had been working on my new home and didn't have time to change. The in store staff were very unattentive and I felt completely dismissed by them, whilst other customers were getting the red carpet treatment.
I was prepared to order in store and actually the store display and styling was so good that I was tempted into buying some additional accessories to complete the look, so 10/10 to Oka for that. Your in store staff however will have missed out on a good commission ( if they get commission) because I ended up spending just under £2,000 on line.
I absolutely love my purchases, which arrived on time recently, but was a bit disappointed to find that 1 item was not in stock and has a 1 month delay for delivery. Perhaps new items should be held back from display until they are actually available in order to avoid customers being disappointed?
Outside of the above I had an excellent experience with Oka, I love their products and highly recommend shopping with them, just try to avoid the Tunbridge Wells branch!!!!
