We were up to our necks in it, and they got us out!
It was the busiest time of the year and our super fast MC561 main printer needed a part. Our usual suppliers didn't have it, and couldn't obtain one (apparently from anywhere). After two weeks of waiting I gave up on them and gave OKI a call. We had the part in 24hrs and got back to normal. Thank you OKI.

Purchased OKI consumable checkout - paid
Then received an email to say the consumable I purchased is out of stock till the middle of Feb 2012. I did email back the Supplier & obtained a full refund. I personally feel that at the time of checkout if the consumable is not in stock this should be informed then you can make the decision if you want to wait.
I can not undestand a large Supplier like OKI & no where can I purchase a belt or fuser until at least the middle of Feb 12.
Been waiting now 3 weeks now!!!

OKI stock is still suffering from the floods in Thailand last year and is likely to struggle for a few more weeks yet. I'd love to show stock on the website (like we do on our sister site www.theprinterstore.co.uk) but until we upgrade OKI Buyer onto a new back office I'm afraid we can't.

Unreliable
I placed an order with you because other suppliers were showing one of the items out of stock. You accepted the order but later informed me that you couldn't supply that item as you were also out of stock. You wasted my time because your website doesn't identify out of stock items - although all other supliers for this item that I tried, clearly showed this. I cancelled my entire order and placed it with one of the suppliers who are prepared to be honest about the stock situation up front.

It's true we don't currently have a stock figure against items on the site but that is something we are looking to change when we move over to a new back office later in the year.

Becoming disappointed
Great, prompt, deliveries. We are however getting a little concerned now due to items being out of stock with long lead times. First it was the drum unit and now it's the Cyan toner, again we're left with a printer we can't use.

Thanks for your review. We share your frustration over the stock problems at the moment. OKI have been severely affected by the flooding in Thailand end of last year which has meant that they have had to set up new production lines from scratch. The stock situation should start to get better towards the end of February but please be assured that we are trying to do everything we can to make sure people keep their printers running.
