I'm giving them four stars because they do help you out but I'm not going to give five stars because of the fact that if you repay early more than once then you will be suddenly declined from applying... See more

Do not trust this company, ive had four loans in the past and never missed a payment or was late and always paid it off before it was due, where is the faith?and when i needed a loan more than ever with xmas coming up i was refused, theres far too much emphasis on scores rather than actual payment history with the system,i had absolutely no issues in paying this loan application off and have missed no payment on anything for over six years now,i will say they helped me when no one else would due to a tough past in my life but i feel thats been tarnished now

i have just paid off a loan on behalf of someone who should never been approved for a loan and was being chased. the second that it was paid there was an immediate offer to take out another loan with 292% interest - loan £400 and pay back £600 in 63 days time. the site immediately saved my card details and no way to delete them. also no way to delete an account. I am sure that this company is operating within the law but is completely unethical and preying on the vulnerable.

I got a loan of £150 and I spoke to someone on the phone about a payment plan of £50 a month till it’s paid off and now they keep harassing me about paying and how my payments are late! Not happy with this one bit!

I recently contacted Ondal Loans about a short-term financial issue — I have a loan due at the end of this month but, due to temporary difficulties, needed to ask if the payment could be deferred or extended by just a few days. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
I spoke with a representative named Matilda, who was very cold and dismissive throughout the call. Instead of showing any understanding or offering possible solutions, she bluntly told him that whatever he does, it will affect his credit file anyway — which came across as careless and unhelpful. Her tone was robotic and lacked empathy, which only made the situation worse.
I struggles with anxiety, and the way I was spoken to actually triggered an episode afterward. When I later spoke to a supervisor, although the answer was still the same (that nothing could be done to avoid a negative impact on his credit file), at least the supervisor was more polite and human in their approach.
It’s very disappointing that a company dealing with vulnerable customers can show so little compassion or flexibility. A bit of understanding and empathy goes a long way — especially when someone is reaching out early to avoid problems.
I strongly suggest Ondal Loans review their customer service training, especially in how staff communicate with people facing financial stress.

I have just received my second loan from Ondal and I can honestly say the whole process was complete in around 10 minutes. Easy straight forward application and once your accepted the money is available almost right away. It's great for short term and you can pay it off without debt lingering for months on end ,no stress . Brilliant

This is my second loan with Ondal, first one paid back in 63 days, not a huge amount of interest on top then got the second one with even less interest to pay back in 63 days.
One of the best ones I’ve used and would recommend highly to use these.

Only mentioned AFTER sending the loan that it's to be paid back in ONE installment!! Had to pay £1500 unexpectedly for vets bills and another £200 then for euthanasia so let these sharks know I will struggle to pay back in full by the date it's due and they basically said tough if not paid back on time then they'll bung another load of interest on. Absolute scum of the earth nothing but a loan shark and they'll reply to this with another load of tripe. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

I have applied for a further loan with Ondal on three separate occasions, having previously been successful in being approved for a £200 loan in June 2025, which has duly been paid back in full and in advance.
However, due to being on disability benefits, I cannot provide payslips to prove my income as I am unemployed. I have therefore provided a screenshot of my UC award via my UC online journal and a copy of my ADP award letter received from the Scottish Government to evidence my income, as well as providing copies of my bank account statements to evidence my sources of income.
I have been told all of the above is unacceptable as proof of my income. Eh? How else can I prove my income if the above evidence isn't acceptable?
The whole application process is becoming more and more discrimatory and needlessly tiresome and prolonged.
They are making a mug of me and others who have been subjected to this nonsense.
I have already proven my credit worthiness and trustworthiness, so what is there problem?

Finally after being sent the right details to set up payee on my account and paid Friday repayment installment amount so hopefully you have it now. It's Mrs not Mr by the way I don't know how that happened.
I am a biological female and remain that from birth and married which is Mrs. Just so you know not what's on loan as Mr

Trying to call about my loan as I'll be 2 days late on payment, your emails are no reply emails, you say you are open till 7:30pm but closed when I'm calling at 6:22.
I've now tried to call email multiple times and feel it may be convent for you to charge me for late payment when I'm trying to give advance you have to facilities to take my message.

Pretty easy to get the loan. Super high interest as you can imagine. Contacted customer service with some question, got a blunt response which answered none of my questions. Emailed again twice, still waiting for a response more than a week after. Took the hit and repaid the loan in full almost 30 days early. Shocking company in general.

Waste of time
Completed application easily affordable. Asked me to verify bank details, recurring card payment and sign contract. Then declined it. Absolute waste of time and misleading. Probably scam to get details. Stay clear
