Used to be OK

Apart from their APR being absurd, they have been helpful in the past albeit impossible to get into contact with.

Have had x4 loans from them and three have been repaid before the repayment date and cleared in full.

Since applying this time, my credit score has improved significantly and I'm in a much better place than when I previously borrowed so struggling to understand why I am declined.

It makes zero sense. You get told upon being declined you will receive an email, this never arrives, when you contact them for reasoning, it's ignored, the whole process is long winded only to be declined without any reason whatsoever.

It seems this kind of loan is targeted to those who are struggling and the more you look like you will struggle to repay, the more likely you are to be accepted.

I have checked all x3 credit reports, nothing is incorrect or shows any reasoning for being declined and my affordability is more than shown on my bank they require access too.

I have been "declined" in the past only for the loan to actually go through further down the line as though the automated system is overruled which is concerning.

Steer clear if you can, they are no good. While they have issued funds in the past to me, the repayment was almost double so repaying early helped me clear a lot of unnecessary interest they add in for fun.

Stress and worry expelled in minutes.

It became apparent that I was not going to be able to make my payment as scheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.
I contacted Ondal, I spoke to a very helpful, polite young lady called Tiana who was very professional and empathetic with my Situation and explained all options, Problem solved - thank you.

Fair to middling - expensive, poor IT, but useful

Quick, easy and simple process to apply. Good option for short-term financing, although, as one would expect, you pay through the nose for the privilege (lose half a star for that - it's tantamount to extortion, but you know what the deal is before you sign up, so "you're choice", as they say).

My issue is that I needed a follow-up loan a couple of months later. Credit score improved with both Experian and Equifax, so I think this should be pretty straightforward, if I qualified before, I shall surely qualify again. Declined.

The only reason I can think of is that my previous Ondal loan was a few days late being paid. If that was the whole of the story, I'd suck it up and blame myself... however, the only reason the loan was late being re-payed, was because Ondal had allowed me to enter the details for repayment using a card which would be expired on the date the payment was taken. Yes, I should have noticed too, but it's a computer system, it shouldn't be possible (lose another one and half stars).

When I sent an enquiry about the decision, I just got a summary of my previous loan, which was not what I had requested (minus a final half star - 2.5/5).

After denying me a loan which is fine

After denying me a loan which is fine, they are now refusing to delete my card details. Outright refusing why? Why would they need my card details if I don’t owe them any money and didn’t get a loan? Scam🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

That’s funny because you’ve already acknowledged you have no legitimate reason to keep my details if we have no further business. There’s no contract between us nor is there any agreement to which I give you consent to hold my card details. You’ve already agreed to remove/delete my details. And just out of curiosity. What reason do you think you need my card details despite us not having any agreements?

Just spoken to then Fca and they told me to ask you what regulations your talking about. They wouldn’t ask you to store every single persons details that applied to you. So what’s going on?

I unexpectedly needed a short term loan and Ondal helped me with that.

No fuss, a few simple questions and I received the funds within minutes of the application. The application itself only took a matter of minutes.

I phoned Ondal to pay the loan beck early and spoke to a lady named Alexandria who is extremely professional, polite and courteous.

Omg this company

Omg this company. Yes they would give me a losn but wasnt interested in a payday loan so didnt go ahead with them however i get hundreds of texts and emails a day reminding me to take oout the loan. Cant even block the messages. Cowboy outfit. Avoid

This company was the only one that…

This company was the only one that trusted me with a short term loan when I needed the most. I now managed to pay it back way before it was due. I'd definitely recommend ondal because they are transparent and direct.

Amazing

I have been declined loan from elsewhere due to my credit score not good however this save my life and im so happy that this accepted my loan and very easy application and just in 5-10 minutes after application i received my loan in my bank, i will definitely use this again!!
