I love the product and the app
I love the product and the app. I was struggling with some of the app's functionality so I reached out to the Catapult team and they got back to me within 24 hours with helpful info.
Great product and awesome support
I got a tracker a few years ago at a tournament (where they let my daughter try it out before buying) and now use it for my son after passing it down. It is a great way to monitor their progress and improvement in fitness and in the match. As a parent/coach I can see if he has pushed too hard, or not hard enough and compare where he thought he was during matches, and where he actually was. This is a huge advantage where drones and video cam is not allowed or practical (& they don’t record speed data either).
Sharing the data with the coach after the 1st match of the weekend tournament helped him tailor instructions for my son for their later day match, too.
Beyond the device and its use, the tech support was outstanding. I needed assistance resetting the pod and the staff was exceptionally responsive and helped troubleshoot what happened and worked through steps to get it working again. They even followed up afterwards to check that it was working as it should.
From the purchase until today, I have had great experiences with the PLAYR brand.
