Those of you leaving the glowing reviews... Has it actually happened for ye? Did ye really book a job? Yeh, its a great day out at the studio. But its all based on lies. There IS no shortage of mature models, you are not about to be called on by Marks and Spencer. ITS A SCAM. An expensive, long running horrible hurtful scam

I am very cautious. Ava contacted me and I responded with some questions re the shoot, namely if I would have to travel to London 200 miles away for the test shoot and if I would have to pay a deposit. I got an immediate response if she could call today after already being advised of availability. Secondly she didn't want to give me the answers except during a call. Told her to safe my time, which is valuable, and give me the answers. I'm not sure but I've got a feeling that this is a scam of some sort

The Photo Studio - Soho Fashion Studios, -associated with Online-models.co.uk bullies people into signing up, with what is in legal terms described as "Unfair Trading", by "misleading action and Aggressive Practice".

In my case, after being up since 4a.m. for a morning photo shoot, I was rushed through a lot of info into accepting a package higher than the one I chose, and even though I asked for a 4 hours window to process the tons of info offered at that point of mental exhaustion, this was refused.

Instead, I was given FAKE reassurances and literally conned into a £900 contract I was not allowed to read, again FAKE reassurances that all had already been explained "for my convenience".
The following morning, yesterday, as I was finally able to read through the contract, 2 most important clauses were deliberately omitted:
1. T&Cs state:
"Please check before signing as this contract cannot be amended or cancelled". - Why was I refused a 4 hours window to assess my situation, and told that "all has already been said during our chat, for your convenience"?
2. The £900, higher package than I desired, Portfolio Package contains the following clause:

"Delivery Note: All products not received at the time of purchase usually arrive within 7-21 days of COMPLETING THE FULL PAYMENT and receipt of models stats".

This came as a very rude awakening and unsavory surprise, because I only agreed to pay by installments because I was led to believe that I could start receiving offers of work immediately after giving my stats.
Since my installments would only complete by December, I have been conned into a debt that :
a. I did not want to take on , - because i was considering the lower package
b. unaffordable unless i get paid work
c. I can "neither alter nor cancel".

To me, this constitutes the definition of con artistry, preying on vulnerable women.

NOTE: All done by Soho fashion studios. Stay well away!

They are complete fraudsters and just steal your money so don't use them

Me, personally I was really relaxed throughout the photoshoot,the whole environment was really chilled,I didn't feel that I need to worry about anything.
They made sure I have everything I need.
I do recommend to anyone who would like to have a great photoshoot even if it would be your first time,you are not left alone,they are helpful with everything!
You have time to get ready between the shooting.

Emailed head office as advised but still no one got back to me. Very poor experience

Online models are a great team. They made me feel like I could really be a mature model. Thanks to them I am embarking on a whole new career.

And just to add I had lots of fun doing my photo shots
My photographer,make up artists and the whole group of people working there made me feel at ease
It went very smooth and had great photos at the end of the session so I would highly recommend this studio to anyone trying to start career in modelling

If I could give no stars I would. This is a SCAM. I hope everyone who reads this disregards the high scores on here. I read them before I went to get photographs taken but saw high scores if you don't buy pics they give you them in exchange for a good review apparantly ( after many phone calls saying I was just what they were looking for) Paid my deposit £50 and had to rearrange date due to family funeral another £25. I made my way down from the Northeast to Soho studios. Seemed friendly and professional. The outfits I took were all put together but they decided what I was wearing and mixed them ( I didn't like any of them) my make up was horrendous I looked like a drag queen on most of them and a corpse on the rest. They combed my hair on one shoot. Another they stuck a few hair clips in. Fake eyelashes were stuck on me i couldnt see the camera for them they were so bad. After the shoot, was taken into a small room shown 5 or 6 pics I was gobsmacked how bad they were but the guy said no that's what agencies want. I was told without a portfolio I wouldn't be able to sign, my ego got in the way and I paid £650 for my portfolio praying the rest of pics were not like those. When they sent the rest of pictures I wanted to cry,so so bad they were worse. Asked for refund but they said I'd signed an agreement with them. They did offer me another shoot no thankyou. I want my money back they refused. Now I've learned they do this all the time and NO there are no paid jobs as I've now learned they try to get more money with a fake offer for you. You pay a fee and then the job gets cancelled. ( Didn't happen to me ) hundreds if not thousands have fallen for that one as i later found out. Please keep your money don't get involved with this huge con. The reply to this will be another load of lies don't believe it. Online models hang your heads in shame. I would like my money back please. I have rang the number from the reply down below. After speaking with the lady ( the one who originally rang me to say i was just what she was looking for) she said she would pass my file on to Admin. I won't hold my breath she cut me off mid sentence. I wasn't rude to her just stating facts.

Professional communication and organisation. I had a very well-organised exciting experience of a photo shoot with a friendly helpful team of make-up artists, stylists for clothes and accessories, hairdressers and a photographer. The nice photographer was fun to work with and made me feel at ease. Everybody was highly professional. There was a detailed debrief and no obligation to buy pictures (as stated from the beginning). It was a well-resourced day and I would like to thank Online Models for the time and effort they gave me.

Online models called me to discuss a potential photoshoot. Almira was very helpful and asked me to send some photos which were reviewed, and I passed to attend the photo shoot in Soho. Almira explained what would happen and that Amy my potential manager would call me prior to the shoot.
I did have some hiccups with my email, but my concerns were promptly and efficiently dealt with.
Amy did call and explained what would happen on the day and reassured me.
I attended the shoot on Tuesday and from the moment I entered the studio I had a very warm welcome. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a fun place with great music to boot!
My initial chat was very informative and friendly. I felt very at home, and at ease.
I am an older lady, and larger but was made to feel very accepted.
I had the four outfits chosen and then the make up artist addressed accordingly. She was very friendly, and I had a great photographer who put me at ease and was great fun. I felt like a film star!

You took 900 of austic person shame on you. No modeling agency tells you to secure your spot reviews are written by clever people to make believe. They rang my phone my phone came up potentall fraud

When I saw an advert about possible work as a mature model, I applied for further info. I initially spoke to Leah who provided lots of info about the various types of work that may be possible if I was successful at my photoshoot. I really knew nothing about the industry but everyone on the day was friendly, encouraging and professional. The assessor clearly knew what her diverse clients were looking for and provided lots of helpful information re bookings, contracts, portfolios, etc. A model manager was then assigned to me which was particularly helpful, given my inexperience in this field of work. Online Models have proved to be very professional and that gives me reassurance.

**My Fantastic Experience with an Online Model Agency**

On 26th June 2024 - My journey with the Online Model Agency was exceptional. From the moment I submitted my photos, they handled my application promptly and professionally. I appreciated their quick response and the invitation to visit their studios.

Before my visit, they provided me with online links to current models working with them, which gave me valuable insight into their work and helped me envision my own potential with the agency.

The Aftercare Manager was incredibly supportive throughout. They ensured I had all the necessary information and directions for my studio appointment, even helping me prepare with outfit suggestions. Their attention to detail and genuine interest in my success were truly reassuring.

On the day of my shoot, I was blown away. The entire team radiated passion for their work, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Both the Makeup Artist and Photographer were not only highly skilled but also made the experience enjoyable with their calm and professional demeanor.

Overall, I can't recommend the Online Model Agency enough. They have exceeded my expectations at every step, and I'm confident they will continue to support me in my modeling journey. If you're considering modeling, I highly encourage you to reach out to them.

I had an amazing time at the Soho Studios. From the moment I walked in to the studio I was greeted by a warm and friendly team.
They organised my outfits for four different shoots and the most amazing Makeup Artist that transformed me from one look to another beautifully.
The photographer was great. She directed every pose and I thoroughly enjoyed my day. most of all I was left feeling very confident moving forward in my modelling career.
The photos looked amazing.
I would like to say thank you to the team and would highly recommend soho studios

The wonderful lady I had the pleasure to meet after the photoshoot was well spoken, reassuring , clear and very honest. The photoshoot was a life enhancing experience and extremely enjoyable. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Very looking forward to continuously receiving their essential guidance in the future on this very exciting journey.

I decided to take the plunge with online models as the initial advert for mature models caught my eye!
I dealt with Belle who was informative and encouraging and spent time getting to know me on the phone before booking the shoot date last week..

The call was followed up with several emails explaining process, what to bring etc, which filled me with some confidence before I went and i wasnt so nervous!

Belle was comforting to deal with for someone new to this area 😊

Everyone at soho studios was a delight to deal with from start to finish - the music really helped to get you in the mood!

I had the same make up artiste and photographer throughout, which again helped to squash nerves as I built up a rapport with them.. they were in tune to the fact this was my first time and were both patient and encouraging..

I received my report later that same day and was pleasantly shocked at the amazing feedback I received, which boosted my confidence no end!

The only reason I gave 4 stars is simply because I am waiting for my first job to come in and I'm sure, going on my experience so far, that I will change to 5

For the experience and feedback etc, I would still recommend though as that was invaluable 🥰
